The lessons are on their way people! 🎉 I'm just starting with the basics, and, depending on how those lessons and how much interest I get, the other classes I'm thinking of doing are: Advanced Decorating. Model Making. Sugar Flowers. ... Cupcakes. Buttercream Vs. Ganache. Shaping Cakes.
From there, I'm also going to do specific cakes for short periods of times, like handbag and makeup cakes, figurine cakes etc. I also want to do seasonal cakes. But back to the beginner lessons. If I do them in the week, I want to keep it to roughly 4 hours, so it fits in between the school run, but I'm not ruling out evening and weekends (have to chat with the wife). Who'd be interested in a more condensed basics course? Hands up!

Halloween Pumpkin Cake 🎃

Halloweens coming around again! If you're attending an event, and have to provide a cake, you can't go wrong with a simple, themed, chocolate fudge or blood red madeira cake. This year, the 6" cakes are £12.50, and the 8" cakes are £17.50. That's the left hand picture people. For custom cakes, please get in touch for more info. And PLEASE, let's not leave it until this minute this year! Get them orders in early to avoid disappointment. I hate turning people down!

Yep it's that time again 🎉. This time, it's for a wedding cake. They're not the cheapest wedding expense, usually. But, for summer 2018, I'll be giving away a two tier Tattoo style wedding cake. Depending on your serving sizes, it will serve 72 people (based on 1"X1" servings), one 6" round vanilla madeira, and one 8" round vanilla madeira, filled with chocolate fudge, coated in white chocolate ganache, and covered in white Massa Ticino fondant.
The ...decorations will be in the tattoo style, with the message on the scroll reading "True Love", or "One Life, One Love", and will be comprised of a 3D heart with the scroll across the front, as well as deep red roses, and the two usual swallows.
All you have to do is like this post, comment wedding OR tag someone who is getting married next summer, and your name will be entered. This competition will be running until Christmas, and the winner will be announced on Boxing Day. Good luck!

My dream wedding cake was made by Fondant Joy for my wedding on the 25.08.2016 and it was absolutely perfect. Originally I was unsure on what I actually wanted for my wedding as its a tough decision too make but Fondant Joy sent me lots of different ideas and made the whole decision process fun and stress free. Communication was extremely effective and Fondant Joy kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. My perfect wedding cake was then created, it was a 5 tier red velvet naked wedding cake with white, pink and peach flowers. The colours of the flowers matched perfectly with my colour theme for my wedding and it looked amazing in front of my flower wall which I had made. It was beautiful, the cake was absolutely delicious the best red velvet cake I've ever tasted and we have tried a lot as its my husbands favourite cake, all my wedding guests loved it as it tasted so good. Don't even get me started on the filling it was yummy it make the whole cake scrumptious. Luckily I managed to take some home just for me and my husband as everyone was wanting to take my beautiful cake home with them as it honestly was that good!! So my husband and I got to enjoy the rest of our wedding cake on our mini moon in Paris. Thank you Fondant Joy for making our wedding absolutely perfect by making us both our dream wedding cake!

Couldn't recommend Fondant Joy anymore if I tried! As well as producing an amazingly impressive Game of Thrones cake, complete with dragon, I also received incredibly polite and professional service throughout my entire experience with them. In my opinion there's no better baker in the north west. Received so much more than what I expected for the very reasonable price. Will definitely be back for more!
