We have some exciting news about our Newtons Match Lake Memberships.
We have decided, after a lot of discussion to relinquish all and any control of Newtons Match Lake to Hardhorn Angling Association. What does this mean? Let me explain.......
Hardhorn Angling Association is operated through Mark at Noahs Ark Tackle in Poulton-le-Fylde just round the corner from us here at Fours. They have a few ponds already on there ticket, and now they have Four Seasons Newtons.
... Members of Hardhorn Angling will tell you that they have always had discount on Newtons, well now they can fish it for free thanks to their membership.
Joining Hardhorn Angling starts at just £40, same as we were going to charge, but you'll get all they ponds as well as Newtons should you decide to go for it.
If you have already joined our Newtons membership then this is great news for you, Mark (Hardhorn Bossman) has agreed to carry over your membership from us to them, which means you now have use of all their ponds as well as Newtons at no extra cost!
Any questions you have please feel free to comment on here below or click the link to go straight to Mark at noahs, Thanks Jon
p.s this does not effect anyone who has joined the Lodge/Mill Lake membership in any way, cheers

We called in for a bit of lunch and the staff are very very helpfull and friendly. The do a very good Ploughmans I can recommend it.

User

The fishery is well run and the food from the cafe would highly recommend the only down side is both on mill and on lodge the pegs are to close together for how big the water is and there are also to many pegs on both waters but still a good place to go if you like your food

User

Spent 48 hours here and had a great time , two of my fishing friends smashed there PB so that's a bonus , nice place with friendly people running it , will be coming back soon.

User

Since it's gone members only it's a much better place. You'll find pegs available on both lakes nearly every time you go now specially in the kids holiday unlike when it was a day ticket water. Never been to a lake when catfish as easy as carp

User

One of our favourite places to lunch. My fella loves the full English breakfast. The food is delicious, reasonable and the staff are lovely. Beautiful surroundings too, can't wait until it's a little warmer so we can sit outside.

User

Just got back from a 48 hour session on mill lake. First 24 hours were hard going but once I found the fish and got them feeding it turned on. 5 fish at 5,11,14,15 and 18lb. Great place run be great help full people. Food and electric hook up are a added bonus. I will be back soon to catch a lump from lodge, thanks again guys

User

Just come back from my first visit to four seasons, and will definitely going back, Paul the bailiff is approachable for advice and friendly, the facilities are good, clean, and we'll maintained, the is food great, and the fish are in good condition, we'll worth a visit !!

User

It was my first time visiting the fishery and for sure i understood that lodge lake was going to be a challenge and it certainly was! Even though i didn't catch the staff made me feel welcome and also with excellent facilities on site, the Sausage and Egg Bun are to die for haha. Will be coming back!

User

It was my first time fishing four seasons and we went to mill for a 48 hour session on the double peg ( 11 ) caught 5 fish , a 20 mirror was the biggest ( and my new pb ) , 15.8 common , a 13.8 common and a 10 common , and a 2 pound mirror ... The staff were very helpful especially adam and the food was very nice and great value for money , looking forward to the chef johns bbq when we go again in august .... The facilities are fantastic ... The toilets and showers are very clean ; the added bonus of a electric hook up was a god send ... Tight lines

User

Had a very short session on mill lake as I'm on the school run. First time Iv been and I knew to expect something good but this is proper classy. Really helpful staff giving great advice and overall a fantastic complex. Was just missing a fish. But il Be back for sure. It really is awesome having a place of this quality a mile from my home.

User

Had a cracking day on the match lake today (Saturday), despite the weather. It was slow early on but after lunch I barely had time for a brew.

Caught around 25 F1's, smallest over 1lb, most 2lb-3lb but had 3 corkers that must have been approaching the 4lb mark. Also had a few roach to 12oz and a ruffe.

I reckon I had at least 50lb of fish, all on double red maggot, 18 hook and small blockend feeder fished 5-10 feet from the island.

To top it all, John gave me a free days fishing and I never even met him before.

Just wanted to say thanks!

User

Great place to fish.Just spent a week on Lodge Lake, not easy fishing but if we wanted that we could have gone to our local fisheries.Saying that we managed to get four excellent fish out from 20lb to 43lb .Everybody working there is very helpful and will give you as much advice as you want. The pegs have electric points and the whole place is very very clean. The Cafe and service from the girls was great as was the food.We had an excellent week and hope to return again soon.

User

Full English breakfast in lovely surroundings, with good service, excellent food and at a very reasonable price!!!

User

First day session on four seasons, great place to fish and also just to go for dinner with nice scenery, caught to commons on a rather horrific day for weather! Will defiantly be back to do a 24hr, great food delivered to peg even in the extreme weather :) and the staff great advice in both cafe and tackle shop, can drive round lakes so easy to unload gear etc get your self down there!!!!!

User

Come here on a weekly basis, everything fresh and cooked perfect! Not a bad word to say about this place or management! Couldn't be more helpful and never seen an unhappy face while eating here! Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice fresh meal!

User

Visited today to have a look round. Very clean and tidy, fantastic pegs with the electric hook up. Called in the shop and the guy behind counter was very informative and friendly. Just with a quick visit we will be calling down for a session friendly clean place means a well looked after fishery.

User

Great place to be.... Plenty of fish but you just need the skill to catch... Food lovely & reasonable priced... Overall a great experience

User

Found it to be a very good venue, food brought to your peg, electrical hook ups, reasonably priced, shame it is over fished can be quite hard to catch but apart from that I enjoyed it.

User

My first trip and was met buy a nice guy (not the owner or person that runs it just the grass cutter ) showed me round the lake ( lodge ) and gave me peg 4 so went and paid for 48 hrs, on setting up there was x7 different lines all over the peg and a 2foot zig with hook in it which lodged into my leg while setting bivvie up not a good start plus picked x10 bud tops up from previous angler not clean peg and not safe as the black sheeting they had placed under the bark had come up unsafe at night this peg should have been closed off .... After setting up I went to use the toilet ow dear not clean and seat broken no toilet roll this was not what I expected at all. The fishing was poor maybe dew to only being 1.9 foot in most ov my swim loads of water missing why ???? Food was good and lads where friendly but it will have to do a lot better if they want my return and and business and my friends, says a lot when you travel 100 miles to a fishery and it's not what it says on the tin ;-((

Score 5/10 for four seasons . Ps and there's a caravan park near so was kids screaming on a night not the peace I was looking for .
