James Davidson is a guitarist who's been playing for thirty years, has been teaching for over a decade, and has taught well over a hundred students. He holds Rockschool Grade 8 and Trinity Guildhall Grade 5 classical guitar qualifications. He has a particular interest in taking a wholistic approach to teaching guitar which entails supporting his pupils to develop a thorough awareness of the musical system that underpins all music, and it's application to the guitar. In this way he is able to facilitate a deep and well rounded understanding and that enables students to avoid getting stuck in those all too familiar ruts and instead empowers them to freely explore broad musical horizons across many genres. He has also played in numerous bands over the years, been involved in several recording projects and toured in The UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Holland, Spain and Israel.
