User

We order / visit a few times a month and it's always amazing! So cheap and I personally love the vegan options here. Jerk burger is a winner but started having the bean burrito which is well nice too. Service is always quick and friendly :) top stuff

User

We loved the café bar so much, it has only one negative...it is too far from our home would love to come again to try some specialities

User

Really great veggie breakfast and nice atmosphere! Down to earth rustic cafe.

User

Played Fuel Bar last night and it was an Epic night out. Definitely worth a visit!!!

User

Lovely food, excellent service...

I have enjoyed food and drink here since 1996 when fuel was called 60/40 . This cafe is truly a community cafe. It's friendly , welcoming . I can recommend the veggie burrito without reservation. Try the sweet potato wedges. All other cafes in Manchester could learn something from the offer here. It's unique without the exclusivity or pretentiousness . It's vegan friendly and the music and art decor illustrate their links to local artists and music communities . Sit a spell and take in Manchester without the hype.

Haloumi and pomegranate salad a gem to eat by myself in a cool evening but by all means join me sometime.

Ginger beer goes well with it.

Fuel is why I moved to Withington instead of Rusholme...(and the Baths). Older ones have more chance in the holidays though!

User

Great food and service. Lovely staff and very accommodating with my kids guitar lessons in host upstairs fortnightly. Top gaff!

Been going to Fuel since about 1996 and always loved it. Great food, huge range of great nights and lovely people.

User

Beautiful, helpful hosts to our launch event for NOUS magazine No.7, great food and craft beers on tap, chilled out crowd. We'll come again! x

User

Absolutely delightful veggie food. Lovely staff who are really friendly & accommodating. Very chilled atmosphere, and you still feel like you've found a cool secret place to eat, which hasn't been overrun with douches.

Visited Sunday afternoon with my lovely wife Sue and our 6 yr old daughter. First impressions are fashionably shabby with mismatched chairs tables creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Fuels website promises board games but the chess set had half a dozen pieces missing as did the kerplunk we tried. The place is vegetarian with many vegan options these are noted in the menu a (vv). We ordered the vegan sharing mezze, onion rings, extra bowl olives and a bowl of chips. The way i would describe the food is a really enjoyable array of flavours. The onion rings are clearly homemade and come with salad and salsa. The chips are hand made and again come with a bowl of salsa. The mezze contained salad, red cabbage coleslaw, 3 big home made falafel burgers (notably delicious), olives, homemade hummus, sundried toms, potato wedges, sweet potato wedges, sweet chilli sauce, whole meal pitta’s, balsamic dressing and maybe more things i can't now remember. We also had a pint and half of decent continental lager and a apple juice. There was plenty to eat, lots left over which the staff were happy to pop in to take away cartons for us. The lot cost £22.5 which in my opinion is good value. There is a really good range of booze to choose from with a wide range of bottled ciders and some good draught lagers. Rather spectacularly the chair i was sitting on suddenly collapsed, the staff sprang to my aid and replaced my pint , i shan't hold it against them as i am 17 stone.Overall a really nice visit and i’d like to go back there relax, have a bite to eat, read the newspapers and take advantage of the wifi though i won’t inflict that on my 6 yr old.

User

Food is good, but the staff are very unfriendly!! Really ruins the vibe of the place. Won't be back in a hurry unfortunately..

User

promoter provided 2 boxes of beers for the band, barstaff took them away. has never happened to me before. not planning on coming back.

User

After waiting ages for our food to arrive, every order was wrong. V disappointed.
