Used to come here in the seventies, after a few pints in The Pelican over the road. Had my first Vindaloo here actually in 1976 (a baptism of fire you might say) and apparently the same chef has returned!

Had an absolutely magnificent Vindaloo Biryani last night. Fellow guests had an assortment of curries from korma upwards with rices, nans and side dishes, and all of us enjoyed the food immensely. The service comes with a smile from the entertaining but efficient waiters who add to the dining experience. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It will be a regular treat from now on. Lovely.

Service was excellent, with waiters that gave good advice on dishes that take you on a taste journey. Brilliant night and the price was just as good. Two people 3 courses drinks and chocs £26.00. We will be returning often!

On a diet? Ask for NO OIL in your curry; did just that and had the most delicious curry; really is a myth that curry has to have oil to give flavour!!

New Year's Eve and it was busy but it wasn't busy by waiting along time I've used it before a few times will be going back soon highly recommend The food is fantastic would highly advise to go for the tandoori mixed grill 👍

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years now (since I lived round the back on the Woodheys Estate). The food has always been great. I've not been for a while but dropped in last night for a 3 courser. The food was fantastic (popadoms, balti chef special and a main course from the Ganges special section). It tasted so fresh and complimented the Cobra very well :-). Like someone else below, I have also used their catering service for a 50th party of 100 people and there was enough food for about 150 people ! In any other local restaurant of this type, I would be paying 25% more for food that is not of this high standard.

Belting restaurant. Best curry house in Sale by a country mile. Great staff. Always helpful and polite. Always very nice when we go in. My fiancee has an allergy to peppers and no matter which staff member we get they all know and write no peppers on the order before they even get to the table. It is then made pepper free. They have slipped up a few times but they always redo the meal for us if they do. Anyone who puts any bad reviews on here has a VERY high expectation in life

Been coming to this restaurant for years now, fantastic food and staff always very friendly. Even had them cater for our parties at home and never let us down .

Been coming here for 15+ years and have never been disappointed. The food is always 100% on top and the staff will go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable and looked after. Can not praise them enough keep up the good work guys.
