When you go in for milk and end up with two carrier bags full of gins, tonics and beers. Oh and chocolate. Gotta be a good shop!

Great staff, great music, great coffee! What more do you want? Somewhere to get your weekly shop? Ok, they've got that as well...

Great shop on the corner, even better now there's a post office coming to it too.



Only criticism would be the veg isn't always *that* fresh and I can sometimes find 5 types of vegan cheese.. but no chopped tomatoes.

Great community feeling to this place. Staff are great and the beer selection is excellent! Coffee shop is a weekly routine for me.

Best selection of Manchester gins and rums and bloody lovely to boot. Perfect for picking up something for dinner of waiting for your table for Rudys whilst sipping on a gin and tonic, the coffee is good too!!!!!

Best local shop ever! Great selection of food and drink, friendly staff and even somewhere to sit and have a drink. Amazing!

Amazing range of food! I am so happy as you stock products I find impossible to buy anywhere else in the city centre! And prices are great too! �



Need to visit the cafe to try golden milk�

Absolutely love this place. Great beer selection and interesting variety of groceries. As for the cafe/bar, it has such a cool vibe with great coffee and beer on draught and the staff are lovely and attentive. Attended #scrancoats for the first time yesterday and the food was so good and so reasonably priced that I think I have a new Thursday night ritual!

Love this general store. Love that you can buy crisps and chocolate buy beer and drink beer in the store, read a Sunday paper whilst playing jenga. Where else in Manchester can you do that? Exactly.
