We have had a lovely summer here at the George and Dragon but now as October approaches and the colder days we are soon going to launch our brand new Autumn/winter menu with lots of warming comfort foods such as home made pies, liver and bacon, casseroles etc along with weekly specials . We are also going to be soon offering flavoured Lattes and hot choclate with cream and marshmallows to enjoy with a muffin or flapjack.

Lovely evening meal here, for our friends anniversary, steak was delicious, and the atmosphere was really nice with dimmed lights and a lovely landlord and landlady.

Lovely country pub, friendly staff, really good food. Cosy in the winter and a fantastic big garden for the summer.

Just had an excellent Sunday lunch with my husband our daughter (who is lactose intolerant) and our staffy. Our dog was allowed into the bar area, he could also have gone into the conservatory but there was a party there today. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food and atmosphere lovely set in a lovely little village. Highly recommend this pub if you are in the Newmarket area. Worth going out of your way to get there.

Just come back from a lovely meal here meeting up with family, great food and lovely staff. Would definitely recommend

I turned up here today to my surprise baby shower it was beautifully decorated the food was amazing and the staff were lovely!!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, family based venue!!

Called past on the off chance and got a table straight away. Food was amazing. Service was great. Will definitely be visiting more often!

Been today for lunch was awesome love the whole thing the land lady and gent dogs guineapigs and the pub and gardens are lovely good job guys you have a wonderful pub we found it by accident and so glad it's a gem so if your thinking of going go Sunday lunch is wonderful lovely meat good quality veg and Yorkshire puss are scrummy

the band--GALAXY BIG BAND-- were very good, enjoyed them immensley, hadn't seen them before, but hope to see them again, Would have liked a bit more of Ted Heath and especially Joe Loss. The weather wasn't too against us, The one thing l would like to see, better W,C s, or rather more of them, Couldn't complain about the state of the ladies WC, but one toilet amongst the number of ladies present was just too ridiculous,and l gather the mens' toilets were also found wanting, otherwise a great evening, thankyou.

Great night, shame about the rain, BUT all staff and Landlord very welcoming, good Guinness!! And will deffo be back �
