Saturdays have been super quiet over summer and as a very small independent business, we had to scale down staff and food prep to avoid losing out. This afternoon was CRAZY busy and we weren’t expecting it - we want to thank customers for bearing with us and apologise to anyone who had to wait a while for their food and drinks, an extra member of staff will be scheduled in again from now on! Thanks also to our employee of the month ⭐️Hayden⭐️ who got dragged into helping when he’d innocently come in for food to take out on his day off!! Soz Hayden, we love you.

Craft club starting back next Thursday ❤️

We went yesterday with my 9 month old and 3 yo.. the setting is clearly done with kiddies' happiness and safety in mind. There's a half stable door with a sliding lock so kids can't get out into road. A play room.. an outdoor little courtyard and fantastic food choices for my BLW lo and my 3 yo even with an egg allergy. Also loved our sandwiches and coffee. Would recommend for anyone with little ones so you can actually get a hot drink and everyone fed well :). Staff really friendly, relaxed and accommodating. Will definitely be coming again, thank you :) xxx

We went for the Father's Day breakfast this morning and it was absolutely gorgeous. We felt so relaxed and everything was so well organised and prepared. The breakfast itself was one of the best we have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt truly spoiled.

Our son had a great time playing and making a card and gift. Husband came away saying 'best Father's Day ever!'

We came today for a story builders session with jenny which was amazing this tea room is a little hidden gem cakes are gorgeous staff are really inviting and welcoming can't do enough for you lovely playroom filled with a wide selection of toys, a separate reading corner and beautiful outdoor play area with wooden teepee

Also healthy child friendly menu and nice room to enjoy your meal or snack/treat in

We came to the Messy Tiddlers session this Thursday with Olivia from Liv Lamode this week. We had an amazing time & my soon to be six month old enjoyed every minute! This week was under the sea & cant wait for next weeks jungle theme 🦁🐵🐯The setting is lovely & bright in a homely environment with lots of space in the undercover secure pram park area. We have a three year old & two dogs so doing this thing at home is so hard. The set up & time Olivia has taken to make sure the sessions run well is unbelievable. Song choices are for mums & dads too so not all rhymes! We've signed up for the rest of the term & im staying for cake next week - they looked fab!! Thanks liv la mode & marmalade skies xxxxxx

Visited this gorgeous little place today with my mum, niece and daughter and it’s was a really nice afternoon. The atmosphere is really chilled, the staff were really friendly. My niece played very happily in the lovely play room which gave us a chance to enjoy the really tasty food and have a rare catch up. Can’t wait to go back. ����

Visited for the first time today with my great niece ( 18mths).and great nephew ( 3 yrs)

Charming place. Lovely ambiance - relaxed and friendly. Really enjoyed our casual visit today but will also look at the organised activities which sound great.

Today was our first visit, my 6yr old boy had loads of fun in the play room while my 2yr old girl sat at our table and played with some of the toys we found by the table. There was a really homely warm atmosphere. We were looked after very well, our order came promptly even though it was really busy. The food was really fresh and tasty even though we just had variations on cheese sandwiches. We will definitely visit again.

I've popped in a few times but this week we went to one of there classes. My daughter loved it. They have a great menu for kids. Almost like mini tapas bar. So we had a snack of apple juice, bread sticks and fruit slices. What a genius idea.

I quite often go here on Fridays for lunch and sing-along-a-tot! Love the food, love the staff, love the drinks, love the place, love the set up and the toys and the books and the atmosphere.........love it. My 2 yr old loves the food too, he always gets the pick and mix and gets different items each time. By far my favourite place to go for lunch with my little man :) :) ��������

I have visited marmalade skies lots with my little girl, over the past few months she is now 6 months old, and we have never been disappointed, the staff are warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly, we have attended lots of the activities and always enjoyed them and have found them to be well organised and value for money, the food is all home cooked and beautiful, even catering for veggies like me who are also not a fan of eggs, the coffee is also very tasty and helps keep you awake. The pram ramp and parking are an added bonus and the changing facilities are clean and well stocked. The play areas indoors and out are great for little ones of all ages and parents, and again are clean. I fully recommend marmalade skies to any parent who's looking for somewhere to take your little ones.

From the first enquiry email right until the end of the party the staff were so lovely and helpful. Any queries I had were answered and nothing so too much bother. The party ran smoothly and so many people commented on how lovely the cafe was and how the kids enjoyed it. The talk of the party was, however, the delicious cakes! Thank you Marmalade Skies, we will be in for more cake soon!

Food was lovely and they even baked us a lovely birthday cake - which I tried to pass of as mine! A real home from home ideal for toddler birthday party and they couldn’t do enough for us.. thanks so much for making Leo’s day so special ���

Booked Marmalade Skies for my twin girls' 4th birthday party. Fantastic experience throughout...from communication via email to stop me stressing over the organisation!!and up to the actual party which was a great success. Everyone who came commented on the kids afternoon tea....sooo cute!!! Thank you so much for helping to make the party run smoothly xxx

As a business, I rent a room from Marmalade Skies to run classes and courses. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The staff are so helpful, they help me unload and load my equipment, the room is prepared in advance just how I have specified. Becky is fabulous at the promotion side and helps me with my marketing campaigns. My business is flourishing with their help- thank you so much. And on top of all of this, the clients (and myself) love the venue with its delicious home made food and wonderful coffee. ���

Absolutely superb, very very children friendly. , not just tots but 6+ years too. My granddaughter for a small fee could create a gingerbread Christmas decoration made with icing and Goodies plus a Christmas card..Unfortunately we ate most of the icing! Food Amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful they just couldn't do more..I recently visited another cafe close by catering for children.. Awful... 1inch thick piece of bread and a crust for a 1 year old's cheese sandwich , they did say "oh its really late" ..2.00pm.....also I waited for my sandwich to arrive which I cancelled after waiting for over 25 mins. They ran out of bread..think thats why my grandson ended up with a doorstopper for his lunch....I would not ever venture there again but Marmalade Skies is definitely a hit with my grandchildren. Would highly recommend to all.. massive pat on the back to all we loved it. X

Food Amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful they just couldn't do more..I recently visited another cafe close by catering for children.. Awful... 1inch thick piece of bread and a crust for a 1 year old's cheese sandwich , they did say "oh its really late" ..2.00pm.....also I waited for my sandwich to arrive which I cancelled after waiting for over 25 mins. They ran out of bread..think thats why my grandson ended up with a doorstopper for his lunch....I would not ever venture there again but Marmalade Skies is definitely a hit with my grandchildren. Would highly recommend to all.. massive pat on the back to all we loved it. X

We went yesterday with my 9 month old and 3 yo.. the setting is clearly done with kiddies' happiness and safety in mind. There's a half stable door with a sliding lock so kids can't get out into road. A play room.. an outdoor little courtyard and fantastic food choices for my BLW lo and my 3 yo even with an egg allergy. Also loved our sandwiches and coffee. Would recommend for anyone with little ones so you can actually get a hot drink and everyone fed well :). Staff really friendly, relaxed and accommodating. Will definitely be coming again, thank you :) xxx

We went for the Father's Day breakfast this morning and it was absolutely gorgeous. We felt so relaxed and everything was so well organised and prepared. The breakfast itself was one of the best we have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt truly spoiled.

Our son had a great time playing and making a card and gift. Husband came away saying 'best Father's Day ever!'

We came today for a story builders session with jenny which was amazing this tea room is a little hidden gem cakes are gorgeous staff are really inviting and welcoming can't do enough for you lovely playroom filled with a wide selection of toys, a separate reading corner and beautiful outdoor play area with wooden teepee

Also healthy child friendly menu and nice room to enjoy your meal or snack/treat in

We came to the Messy Tiddlers session this Thursday with Olivia from Liv Lamode this week. We had an amazing time & my soon to be six month old enjoyed every minute! This week was under the sea & cant wait for next weeks jungle theme 🦁🐵🐯The setting is lovely & bright in a homely environment with lots of space in the undercover secure pram park area. We have a three year old & two dogs so doing this thing at home is so hard. The set up & time Olivia has taken to make sure the sessions run well is unbelievable. Song choices are for mums & dads too so not all rhymes! We've signed up for the rest of the term & im staying for cake next week - they looked fab!! Thanks liv la mode & marmalade skies xxxxxx

Visited this gorgeous little place today with my mum, niece and daughter and it’s was a really nice afternoon. The atmosphere is really chilled, the staff were really friendly. My niece played very happily in the lovely play room which gave us a chance to enjoy the really tasty food and have a rare catch up. Can’t wait to go back. ����

Charming place. Lovely ambiance - relaxed and friendly. Really enjoyed our casual visit today but will also look at the organised activities which sound great.

Today was our first visit, my 6yr old boy had loads of fun in the play room while my 2yr old girl sat at our table and played with some of the toys we found by the table. There was a really homely warm atmosphere. We were looked after very well, our order came promptly even though it was really busy. The food was really fresh and tasty even though we just had variations on cheese sandwiches. We will definitely visit again.

I've popped in a few times but this week we went to one of there classes. My daughter loved it. They have a great menu for kids. Almost like mini tapas bar. So we had a snack of apple juice, bread sticks and fruit slices. What a genius idea.

I quite often go here on Fridays for lunch and sing-along-a-tot! Love the food, love the staff, love the drinks, love the place, love the set up and the toys and the books and the atmosphere.........love it. My 2 yr old loves the food too, he always gets the pick and mix and gets different items each time. By far my favourite place to go for lunch with my little man :) :) ��������

I have visited marmalade skies lots with my little girl, over the past few months she is now 6 months old, and we have never been disappointed, the staff are warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly, we have attended lots of the activities and always enjoyed them and have found them to be well organised and value for money, the food is all home cooked and beautiful, even catering for veggies like me who are also not a fan of eggs, the coffee is also very tasty and helps keep you awake. The pram ramp and parking are an added bonus and the changing facilities are clean and well stocked. The play areas indoors and out are great for little ones of all ages and parents, and again are clean. I fully recommend marmalade skies to any parent who's looking for somewhere to take your little ones.

I had my little girls 1st Birthday here and it's the perfect venue. Layout is brilliant, spacious and safe for all the little ones and the adults could enjoy their lunch too. I had my daughter's first birthday party at Marmalade Skies yesterday and couldn't recommend it enough. From the first enquiry email right until the end of the party the staff were so lovely and helpful. Any queries I had were answered and nothing so too much bother. The party ran smoothly and so many people commented on how lovely the cafe was and how the kids enjoyed it. The talk of the party was, however, the delicious cakes! Thank you Marmalade Skies, we will be in for more cake soon!

Had my baby’s first birthday party here today and we had an absolutely lovely time. The staff were so helpful and the kids were able to run riot (in a separate room) so ideal. Food was lovely and they even baked us a lovely birthday cake - which I tried to pass of as mine! A real home from home ideal for toddler birthday party and they couldn’t do enough for us.. thanks so much for making Leo’s day so special ���

Brilliant place. I quite often go for a break from cooking and tidying up. Food is good quality and brilliant value for money. The place is so clean and staff are so friendly that it feels like a home from home. Highly recommended for anyone with a toddler or a baby who wants a rest, great coffee and good food x

Booked Marmalade Skies for my twin girls' 4th birthday party. Fantastic experience throughout...from communication via email to stop me stressing over the organisation!!and up to the actual party which was a great success. As a business, I rent a room from Marmalade Skies to run classes and courses. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The staff are so helpful, they help me unload and load my equipment, the room is prepared in advance just how I have specified. Becky is fabulous at the promotion side and helps me with my marketing campaigns. My business is flourishing with their help- thank you so much. And on top of all of this, the clients (and myself) love the venue with its delicious home made food and wonderful coffee. ���

Absolutely superb, very very children friendly. , not just tots but 6+ years too. My granddaughter for a small fee could create a gingerbread Christmas decoration made with icing and Goodies plus a Christmas card..Unfortunately we ate most of the icing!
