We are a busy, family run riding school in Stockport, looking to hire an enthusiastic and hard working instructor. The role includes teaching Beginner to Advanced level riders of all ages, in both group and private lessons. Qualifications and/or experience in this role is a necessity. The hours are to include weekday evenings and one weekend day, so flexibility is a must.... We took a party of school kids, some with no experience of horses whatsoever. Beth was brilliant with them as were all the girls. The kids loved it we just have to apologise to the parents of the girls who now want riding lessons! 😁

Olivia has had 3 lessons up to now and she absolutely loves it.

My son aged 6 has been coming for 3 weeks now having lessons with Beth. She is absolutely fantastic with each and every child and they come away learning so much after just half an hour! The younger staff are all as lovely as each other would recommend for anyone to come here... Xxx

My daughter has been with Glen Jakes for a couple of years now (taking private lessons). This is such a great place! Staff are kind, caring, friendly, hard-working and fun! My daughter loves it! I highly recommend this school, especially if your child is an animal-lover like my daughter.

My daughter has been coming here for over 6 mths and is excelling beautifully. All staff here really understand both the needs of rider and horse and its very clear they love the horses. I am so inspired I have started having lessons also

My daughter and myself have been attending Glen Jakes now for almost 6 months.

All I can say is what a fantastic riding school this is and what a lovely time we have each visit.

The staff are all really friendly, professional, helpful and all very knowledgable in their field.

The horses are well kept and are all such a pleasure to ride, although Guinness needs some persuasion :) and Mary needs brakes lol.

We both transitioned to a higher group recently and are enjoying it even more and are now taking part in hacks instead of walkouts.

I would really like to highly praise 3 of the staff we deal with there regularly who have all been extra helpful, Danielle, Beth and Liz.

Every week we both look forward to our lessons, keep it up guys you're doing an amazing job. �

My 3 year old niece had a 30 minute private lesson for her birthday present today. She absolutely loved it and was so impressed that they did so much with her in such a short space of time. Thank you very much for making Bellas birthday xx

My 2 year old daughter came today and had a 15 minute walk around on Magic the horse and she loved it. The staff are amazing. We will definitely be seeing you all again soon �

Just had a party for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. I can't recommend these guys enough. My daughter and her friends had an amazing time. All the staff were great. As a children's entertainer myself I have been to and done loads of kids parties and really can't fault the party we just had. Brilliant work guy's will be recommending you to all I know.

Isla has only been riding for just a few weeks and has completely fallen in love with all the staff and ponies at Glen Jake.

Her instructor is so encouraging, positive and experienced and she comes out beaming from every lesson.

She has just had her 10th birthday party there today with 12 friends and all the kids had a whale of a time. Even her friend who didn't want to even put a hat on ended up on a horse and doing the riding games! Thank you so much to all of the staff today- 13 happy faces and lots of lovely memories xx

I remember coming here when I was very young I loved it I never forget about it horses are beautiful everyone is so friendly and can make you laugh thinking about visiting again at some point ❤️😊

Had my daughters 9rh birthday party here and I can't recommend it enough , the staff went out of their way to do anything to make the girls party the best possible , the horses were also really friendly and gentle , thank you everyone for providing the best party I've ever experienced , and that is quite a lot !

Had a joint party / riding lesson for my daughters 6th birthday 6girls 2boys two of the girls were unsure of the horses at first the staff put them at ease straight away all the children had a fab day by far the best and most memorable party my daughter has ever had thank you x

Had a fantastic party staff were brilliant couldn't fault them.



only problem was it down poorer with rain the last 20 mins. Might be worth investing in roofing over one paddock so you can have parties all year round.

Had a 1 hour hack today - was amazing, had a great time, the horses and and staff were very friendly - would recommend

Excellent. The full hour is tutoring, well worth the money. My girls loved it. The staff are great and obviously love their job, walking in all weather, through lots of mud!!

Brilliant riding school. Took our daughter and 4 friends for a riding lesson as a birthday treat today and they absolutely love it. Staff fantastic, extremely energetic and friendly. Lovely stables and brilliant facilities. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys for making Belles day so brill.
