It's raining and you can't be bothered cooking come to The Golden Ball and get a carvery for 7.99. A gigantic Yorkshire pudding with a choice of three home cooked meats Beef, Pork and Ham and seasonal vegetables.

What a great morning Lancaster Race Series. Every one comes in wind, rain or sun. It's a credit to the organisers how far the day has come from 10 people to almost 100.

All the home cooked meats are cooking away along with gigantic Yorkshire puddings ready for carvery day tomorrow 12 - 6pm. Pork, Beef and Ham

Another great day with another fabulous bowling party. They have enjoyed the bowling, darts and pool. They have been fed with a hearty breakfast finished with sandwiches and chips for pick up at 7.30pm.

Well another fantastic bowling trip done and dusted for another year, a massive thanks to Kat and all the staff who work there socks off and cater for all your needs. The food was excellent once again and all 49 mouths were fed I can’t recommend this place enough and the car very is amazing 5* 👍

We went there for lunch today, would thoroughly recommend, lovely setting, everyone really enjoyed their meals, clean plates, friendly staff, what more could you ask for. �

We went there as a one off,just to try it e were pleasantly surprised,staff were really helpful couldn't do enough for you, the lady said they famous for the pies they do, I had the steak one and it was really good, we will definitely be going back to try the carvery.

We have been coming here as a family since I was a tiny tot I have many fond memories as a child , so to be bringing my little girl is special . The food is real home cooked & very tasty , I don’t know any carvery that comes close , portions are not short , and staff can not do enough for you very child friendly... now a firm favourite & regular visits xx

We came tonight and had an lovely meal, all gome cooked and delicious. Home made ice cream was amazing. Reasonable priced too. Will definitely be back.

The Golden Ball provided the catering and mobile bar for our marquee wedding last Saturday. We had a buffet and a hog roast for 100 + people and it was fabulous, all our guests commented on how nice the food was. The staff were brilliant - very friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much to you all, our day was perfect!

The Golden Ball is lovely family run pub that serves great beers and lovely home cooked food. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Three of us went for lunch on Friday and although the pub was quiet the food was excellent. We had 2 roast dinners and the 1 lamb chops, good sized portions, all meats was beautifully tender , veg cooked to how we like it (cooked but not mushy) and the gravy was delicious- definitely will be back -thank you

Just had Christmas Lunch.Amazing couldnt be faulted.Will be back!

Just been to try the new carvery and it was excellent plenty of choice and tasted fantastic will be back again. X

Just been to the golden ball for xmas dinner and it was amazing and great value for money and nothing to much trouble, there was 29 of us and all food served at the same time and enough food to feed an army all for £35..great value for money and definitely be booking again and everyone went away happy..well done to the chef and staff..���

Great local pub with very friendly bar staff and clientele. Food is really nice home-cooked food and highly recommended!! Some interesting characters but always make us feel very welcome ��������

A big thank you to Kat and all the staff for yet another fantastic Bowling day catered for. The service and food was excellent and a massive plus for the new carvery which worked a treat especially when you have 50 hungry mouths to feed already looking forward to next year, from us all at the park in, swinton a big well done �����

Lager was £3.95 a pint which husband said was expensive. Sat outside until staff said putting sprinkers on flower baskets & as we were sat underneath one we promptly left! Ha ha how to lose customers in one easy sweep!
