lovely welcoming space 'beautiful food .diverse interesting musical sounds ,gorgeous mix of friendly folk both behind and in front of the bar and an open fire,Can't fault the place don''t know much about the beer cause I don't really drink but theres more to the Lion than that and the water is perfect .Thank you for getting so many happy days and nights together your a wonderous lady Gig .

Totally loved it. Amazing friendly atmosphere enough for us to save this as our monthly pagan meet up place but we will for sure be back more often. Our kids loved it too. Stay awesome �������

Tis a Craic'n!!! wee pub and I have had many a good night's shennagins fun to be had by all. Some great bands, live music I've seen at 'The Golden Lion...' and highly recommended for a gig nights. Always try to pop in for a quick pint maybe bump into some friends there as & when I'm up Tod way visiting friends. Always come over when theirs a good gig going on at the G-Lion and have a great night out with friends. In a nice relaxed atmosphere, cool laid back vibe & a good eclectic mix of local people punks, hippys, musicians & local young girls & lads.

Keep up the good work & folks if your ever up in Todmorden or just passing through then pop by the Golden Lion for some food and a drink, an open door and cool friendly staff... >>;0))~ (A) (///) (E) x

International Dj's to local home grown talent can be found entertaining here seven days/nights a week. Amazing pub/venue with the most wonder hostess imaginable, the one and only Gig !!!!

This isn't simply a pub, but a community hub... a wonderful place that supports the local community... amazing bands, DJ nights, themed food nights, Incredible Farm salad, the most amazing Thai food, and staff that go the extra mile... the best venue in Tod!

This is a brilliant venue. The people are wonderful and interesting and welcoming, the staff are excellent, and Gig is legend. If you're in Tod, don't miss. Oh, the food is tasty too! Px

Table of 16... booked for food. Not one single complaint, food delicious and piping hot, if you want authentic Thai food... the Golden Lion is highly recommended... great service to. Thank You Ladies.

Quite simply the best Thai food I've ever had (and I've been to Thailand twice). Service was incredible, as well. Dealt with all our vegetarian requests and queries without once looking frustrated.

My only Wish ! that this was my Local ... best night out in a long time 👍👌🙋🏻💃🏻✌️

Held a small party here for my daughter to celebrate her 16th birthday. The food was amazing and staff really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make it special. Added bonus of the live music too....thankyou so much it was perfect xxx

Great place! Watched the England quarter final here in the afternoon and then back for the evening for the Kevin Rowland Dj set. Fantastic welcoming owners and some brilliant ales, beera and ciders! The food looked amazing although we didn't get chance to sample any as we were too busy dancing! Excellent and thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely stunning food and a really good selection of beers/ales. The food was absolutely superb and would definitely recommend trying it. Super friendly people there and best of all dog friendly.

Absolutely fantastic venue. Went to see Andrew Weathall and Ivan Smagghe last night and the atmosphere was bouncing. Great crown and mix of people. Top mark for all involved there, what a great place.
