We visited Ryecroft Hall today, for a meal in celebration of our Queen’s Award for voluntary service.
A great outing enjoyed by all!

Great news one of our members has kindly bought us a new hoover. We all like to say thank you to our anonymous benefactor. 😀 Another example of true community spirit.

Yesterday evening someone walked into The Grafton Centre, Hyde and walked out with our hoover!
The Grafton Centre is a charity, mainly staffed by volunteers, providing services and support to our local community; yet someone saw fit to come in and steal from us 😠
... If anyone has any information please contact us on 368 4110. We have contacted the police.
Donations or ideas for raising funds to replace Henry are most welcome.

Wonderful friendly centre for pensioners of all ages. Only joined in March 2016, best move I made, lots of new friends and great activities.

We’ve just performed our theatre show ‘Sharing The Story: Make Do and Mend’ at Grafton House and what a terrific venue. The hall and stage are perfect for shows and the everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The facilities and access are great for anyone with mobility problems and there’s parking on site and a pay and display right next to the building. I would recommend Grafton House to any arts groups looking for a venue, do pay them a visit.

There's something for everyone at The Grafton Centre, and it's cheaper than other fitness centres. Of course if you're not able to exercise, there's companionship and food at a very reasonable price. Also University of the 3rd Age meets there (U3A) and Tameside Voices. I go for Zumba and Fitness fun - it's a really good venue...!

The Grafton Centre is special it is the heart of the community and a lovely welcoming environment with a treasure of variety activities.
