Affordable and reliable service
Booked via the app 2 days in advance for a 1240 pickup as it was imperative we were at our destination at 1pm. By 1245 the taxi still wasn't with us and I was told it was in caversham park which was not true as I could tell from the app, the taxi was in reading centre. NOT IMPRESSED and will not be booking again with Green Metro taxis.

After taking us to Rewind festival albeit half hour later than booked with weak explanation, GMC having agreed to collect left us stranded with excuse of not wishing to tackle festival traffic system. Finally saved by Henley taxis taking only 5 minutes to leave the show. Absolutely diabolical!
This company just threatened 7 girls in one taxi between 18-21 years old for £50 from Reading to one address in Bracknell. They demanded the cash upfront and threatened to call the police if we didn't when over the past 3 years we've used them they've always asked for cash at the end of the journey; even though we've showed the cash to them upfront.
We WILL be reporting this company as this became w threatening and scary situation. And we are disgusted by their behaviour. Never using this company again.
The taxi liscence plate was DE06 RJX at 2.45am.
We have photos of the taxi and the driver as proof.
Poor customer service, was quoted £45 to get from reading festival to Staines. Get in the cab and its suddenly risen to £70??? (Eventually got him down to 60 but thats really not the point? call up the manager and "Because it's busy and festival times it costs more",
Of course I was coming back from the festival so didn't need to be told this, and why should that make a difference price wise? We used the online service to book the taxi a couple of weeks in advance, the date in which i wanted to travel was clearly noted. I recommend anyone reading this to never use this company, leave a few minutes earlier and get the train whenever possible to avoid nearly being left in the rain and cold
Looking at these reviews I am not sure how this company is still business. Agreed price goes up when you get in the cab. They demand the fare upfront and if you refuse they become aggressive and demand that you to get out of the taxi in the middle of nowhere. Like other customers I will be reporting this company. Aggressive and unsafe.

If dead is where you want to be, use this company. Anyone who drives while using a mobile phone does not deserve the privilege of driving.
If I could rate you 0 stars I would. Restaurant booked for 7pm, picked us up 10 mins late therefore leaving family at the restaurant waiting for us and late to a restaurant booking. £2 discount on the price...NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I work for a taxi firm in preston lancs . So I have an idea how they work. 20 years in the business . We were in reading for the weekend 23/1/2016 .We called Green metro taxi . No metre why ? And why do they charge a minimum of £ 6 for a journey that is 1.1 mile not far I know but the wheather wasn't on our side that is a fixed fare for 1 mile they were quick enough to get there I wonder why . And if you order a taxi a cab and 8 seater turns up and there is 2 or 3 of you you get charged for a mini bus minimum 14 pound .THIS FIRM IS A TOTAL RIP OFF ... DO NOT USE
Dreadful customer service, poor communications, shockingly rude and frightening taxi ride for an elderly lady who had misfortune to use this company. DON'T USE!!!
