All In all very good, room could do with a little face lift, but the staff can't do enough for you, very clean, food was lovely breakfast divine, swimming pool is small but clean, they could do with locking lockers, and at the end off the day to the other comments if you want 5 star luxury then pay for it xxx

Stayed here with a coach trip last night and it’s possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Food is disgusting. Stuffing resembled baby sick, the only meat available on the carvery was turkey, no substitute food. The starter of soup was bland and must have only had pepper in it to mask the flavour!! The breakfast was freezing cold. The bacon was hard it was that cold, the beans were stone cold. And the tomatoes didn’t even seem cooked. The fruit that was on offer was out of date with all of the apples having large black patches on them. They couldn’t even provide us with standard salt and pepper at our table. The Greyhound pub was awful too. My boyfriend waited over 10 minutes at an empty bar to get served and when he was finally served, the barman had no idea what he was doing. Would never stay here again, awful!

Extremely upsetting and disappointing how people were treated at your NYE event. Was told to get there at 7pm - so we did and then were waiting for your rooms to be "ready" until at least 7:45pm so was just sat awkwardly in the pub area with no DJ for a good half an hour. After this we were seated, tables were nicely set out but the room was very boring. Food was served after waiting until nearly 9pm and everyone was complaining how hungry they were! Literally people were begging the waiters for food!! The food however was delicious and I enjoyed this - the desserts not so good with not much choice.

After this it all went downhill. We waited for another hour thinking... it's 10pm when will the entertainment actually start? As we'd been told on the phone when booking that the Robbie Williams tribute would perform in the other room then come into our room and perform and it just wasn't happening... people were moving their chairs and tables around the corner as we couldn't even hear the DJ where we were sat! The DJ was absolutely awful though in our room - he was sat down not saying a word looking nearly as bored as all the guests... everybody was so so angry! Not what you expect when you've paid £55 a ticket!! We ended up seeing an old friend and she was sat in the other room and was telling us how amazing it was and we were like what?!?! And she'd paid for the same ticket.... what really was the cherry on top was when we asked to be moved to the other (better) room and the staff member LIED to us and said it was a different event.... well no its not because someone we know is in the other room and is at the same event! Lying to your paying customers... really?! Seriously not impressed.

We ended up going to another staff member and demanding to see a manager and for a full refund... at this point suddenly they moved our table into the other room without any hesitation... Hang on I thought it was a private event? Lies lies lies once again.

Our night was saved by the Robbie Williams tribute act and the amazing DJ in the other room! However all the toilets were blocked and flooded everywhere. The wine tasted awful and by this point I was tired and fed up. The night was brilliant from about 11:45pm onwards and like I said was saved by the other DJ... This DJ kept shouting out to all the guests that the other room was rubbish and the DJ was awful. When the hired DJ is saying how bad the event is you know theres a problem!!!! I feel so sorry for the guests who stayed in the other room and thought that the Robbie Williams tribute was on its way... because he never left our room!

Very shocked by all the events from the night and won't be returning. I'm also a member of your gym for 3 years now - this membership will 100% be cancelled after seeing how disinterested your staff are with the guests.... poor decisions made by whoever has run this event just to fit more people in and make more money. What a shame!
