Went in to the Chester branch, was helped by Andrew Ibell, went back to Scotland not buying anything BUT due to the service I received from Andrew and the deal he offered for the car I wanted, I was more than happy to travel back down to Chester to pick up the car. Thanks to David (Service manager) and the whole team at Southport Halliwell Jones. I have always serviced my car with the Southport branch, recently i experienced a mechanical breakdown in which David took full control of the situation and spoke with BMW UK to get it resolved for me in a good time frame. I was kept up to date throughout the process and it was hassle free for myself from start to finish. I had no doubts in my mind throughout the process. 5* service

Picked up my car yesterday (Friday 8th April) and cannot recommend them enough, dealt with Paul and nick and Gary briefly on the phone and they all went the extra mile in making sure I was happy and I got shown how the car works before driving off. Paul also saw to it that a small mark on back seats was cleaned before I took delivery. All I can say is these guys put customer service on top, thanks again so much Paul, nick and Gary

Just had my leather replaced on my 4 series seat. Totally seamless operation by Claire Johnson on servicing and the workshop team. Feels like a brand new car and thrilled with the level of customer service. They really are a cut above the rest! Thanks x

Just had my car in for a fault finding mission ( found and sorted �) I'm very fussy when it comes to my car so i just wanted to say a big thanks to Dave the service manager for his attention to detail professionalism and customer attention. Its something I've never experienced before with car dealerships and it's a breath of fresh air !!!!

Just bought a used 2012 BMW 325 convertible and cannot thank Paul Watson enough for all his help and after care with our purchase. This car is in pristine condition and we love it. We were not sure what to expect as never bought a car from a video before, but we were not disappointed, this car was better than expected. Would highly recommend them and Paul Watson. Thank you Paul so much, you made our buying experience stress free, sent us video, photos and always replied promptly to all our queries and worries and sorted everything as he promised. Would definitely buy from Paul again.

I dealt with Paul, Simon and Gary during my experience with Halliwell Jones Southport. They were all most welcoming during my visits to the dealership.

I am now driving my new car that is the right specification for me. They all offered a great friendly service and even on collection day they gave my 5 year old son an X6 toy car which he was extremely pleased with.

They even went the extra mile just to make sure I was happy. Thanks guys I would definitely recommend and it was pleasure doing business.

My wife was stranded with 4 kids in the car no food and no chance of a tyre shop being open at 6pm in southport the tyre was shredded and blown. The AA who i have been with for many years would not come out to her because i was not with the car.

She managed to get the car to Halliwell jones in southport and the manager there put a tyre on for her after they had closed because she was so stranded. Above and beyond customer service and if I could give 100 stars I would give it.

Excellent service from this Bmw franchise. Worked hard to find us a great deal. Took the time to listen to my requirements, very friendly, helpful and patient service from rob, Gary and the rest of the team. Thanks gents. Looking forward to the drive home to inverness now!! And Great to see a business putting cutomers first for a change!

So good, I have just returned to Halliwell Jones to buy my next car.

Service dept brilliant. Rather unimpressed with the guy I spoke to in sales who did nothing but berate my car as it was low on brakes (1500miles) and the rear tyres "were done" (3.2mm) when trying to buy a new one. Walked out on those grounds. I know what my car needs and when. I dont need an attempt by a saleman to tell me I dont look after my car.

just sat in the show room for 2hours waiting for my car, i was told it was ready at 2.25pm and at just after 5pm i got to drive away, they did say sorry and offered me a free valet but this is not good enough, why say come and get your car then make you wait for 2hours?

was going to order same car next year think i will have a good look at Audi now. my recommendation don't use Halliwell Jones as this is not my first problem with them.

maybe ill get a response because of social media but i am not holding my breath!

total bad service i advise anyone using them go elsewhere as there service department will rip you off. take your car to your local garage

Very poor! We rang the sales team after seeing a pre registered car we were very interested in online. My husband made 2 phone calls in the following days and not one was returned! Needless to say we took our business elsewhere

This garage tried to mislead me into purchasing a car from them which was not as described or portrayed in the video. Understandably I refused to take delivery of the car. However a consequence of this being a long distance sale, I incurred costs of changing over the insurance details, taxing the vehicle and cancelling the breakdown cover on my existing car, which they are refusing to re-emburse despite accepting the defects on the vehicle (scratches, stone chips, faded seat, discolouration to bonnet, food ingrained in seats) and accepting that the valletors did a very poor job. This is the worst garage I have come across and are a disgrace to the Mini UK brand.

Quite good at selling cars - awful at answering the phone when trying to book in for service etc.

Have moved to Bowker Preston who’s service dept answer the phone phone first time - every time.

I have never wrote a review in my life but this place just took the piss



Purchased a £60k car from these in September 2013.

The after service was a complete joke.



My car had numerous engine faults which should of all been covered under warranty. In the end they had my car for 10 weeks out of 13. They never fixed the problem. I even bought a new car it took that long.



The service was that bad they tried to sell my car after they couldn't fix it to one of there recommended buyers called Adrian.



In the end I had to just ask for the car back not fixed as there was no sign of them ever fixing it.



Shambles of a company with horrendous customer service. If your buying a BMW go the extra miles to Liverpool or Preston.

To top it all of after they had my car 10'weeks in 13 one of there salesman rings me and try's to get me to buy a new car of them because they see my deal ending. Clearly no communication either



Feel sorry for the lady Claire who got stuck dealing with me she was helpful but the rest of them a complete shambles.

Bought a vehicle from this place today, Why can a salesman tell a customer that he put it "through a car wash" because the valet contract was changing. A "machine car wash". I passed at least 2 hand wash places on the actual road. The car was filthy on the outside, not bad on the inside i suppose the former keeper was responsible for the cleanliness/

The salesan was also doing me a favour as he had come in on his day off, it was Saturday and they were open. I reckon someone else would have gladly accepted the cash.
