Hallmark Hotel Warrington

Stayed at the Hallmark Hotel (just outside of Warrington town centre). Service and standard of the decor at the hotel was great. Had a superior double room which was spacious and well furnished.

I'd give less if I could. The rooms are clean and pleasant. However apart from the nice lady who checked me inn, the staff were rude and lacked any customer service skills. I'm happy to pay premium prices but never again in a hallmark hotel. 4.30 a pint to have it chucked at you. Every time I went to the bar no one their to busy having conversations in reception or restaurant to notice guests. Hospitality at its worst.

If you suffer with coeliac disease don't eat here. Staff very nice and the menu states if you have any allergies we are willing to help? The staff were not cued up to help and had to go to the kitchen to get advise. Also there are icons on the menu ( hallmark recommends) only one starter had this and it was off the menu. Plus a couple of the main meals were off the menu. I had half a chicken which was quite dry.
The rooms are cosy and clean but there was a used bar of soap left in the soap dish next to the shower from the previous customer.

Spotlessly clean hotel with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever found. Food was hot and very tasty, although the food was dinner portions would be small for some people. Only negative was that we had a smoking area below our room and had to close the window, on hot evening, to avoid smell.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet location, good location for Warrington but away from a main road. Rooms are standard, very clean and good shower. Have stayed here a number of times and will stay again when on business to Warrington and prefer a quite location close to one of my favourite Chinese restaurants.

Not a clean room whatsoever very dusty and dirty bathroom tiles and grouting. Both of us ended up having bites from sleeping in the bed.

Nice hotel. Much better since it was taken over by hallmark and refurbished.

A bit old school decor in the rooms and fairly compact but they have what you need. Bar selection is basic. Don't expect craft beer.

Ticked the box on my bill not to recieve promotional emails. This was ignored. I contacted them 3 months ago to remove and they have ignored me.
Dated rooms for the price.
