At Healds Hall Hotel we are passionate about food, producing quality produce, sourcing as much as possible from local grocers and farmers to the extent where we are holders of an AA Rosette for food and service.
The food served is exactly the same in both our restaurant and bistro featuring ever changing daily specials, simple traditional dishes and old favourites right through to modern European, British and Asian influenced dishes. An extensive wine list selection is available. Our commitment to quality shines through every dish we produce.
Our Harringtons Restaurant is a 'private' room, decorated in modern neutral tones with fabrics that further enhance the room. This area is calmer in appearance and more suited to a quieter, more formal dining experience.
The Bistro is much more vibrant in appearance using bolder colours and much more contrasting artworks. This is the ideal area for a more relaxed meal, this area benefits from the bar and open plan conservatory areas.

We just got married here 27/1/18 and what an incredible day we had. All thanks to the staff here on and behind the scenes. Everyone commented how good the food was and how exceptional the staff were. Quick changes throughout and it looked amazing. Always on point to keep us updated throughout the day, guiding us and even since booking it everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend having a wedding here and we will be back! We will never forget it - thank you so much Healds Hall Hotel.
We have just Returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel to celebrate my Cousins wedding.
The food on the first night when we ordered from the menu in the bistro was lovely. The staff where all very friendly and helpful.
Thank you Ruth and Martin for inviting us to the wedding the whole experience at the hotel was just outstanding nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic time.

We had the 6 course taster menu last night and everything about it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough for it's food and lovely welcoming staff.
We got married here on 28 July 2017. HHH is a fabulous wedding venue; beautiful building in private gardens, amazing food and completely brilliant staff who worked tirelessly with smiles on their faces to make sure everything was perfect - which it was! All our guests commented on the standard of food and service, it was simply wonderful! Thank you so much to the whole team, especially Max - we had the best day! ����
We first visited Healds Hall Hotel in May 2016 for a wedding fair and instantly fell in love with this charming place. Having visited again several times since we finally got married here on 21st August 2017. It was an absolutely fantastic day which far surpassed everything we could have hoped for. The venue it's self is full of character with rooms finished to a good standard, beautiful gardens and a function room that was adaptable enough to accommodate our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception for circa 100 guests. We have received many compliments about the delicious food and wonderful staff who delivered our day which went with out a hitch. Many thanks to Max, Matt, Ronan and team for being so accomdating and working tirelessly to ensure this. We will be seeing you again soon x
Such a lovely place. The food is such high standard with a great wine and drink menu to match. Everyone is so welcoming and so pleasant. Even down to the receptionist who made a point of standing up to say hi as you walk past. Have to say Max is amazing, has been for years! No words can actually describe what an amazing venue this is for a wedding. What makes it so amazing is simple...the staff!! When I arrived, with my requests for afternoon tea, rather than a traditional wedding meal and a sister whose allergic to practically everything, We were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble and my vision of how I wanted our wedding to be was done perfectly. I couldn't of asked for anything better. We had the best day and a big part of that was definitely down to how amazing healds hall staff are...thank you so much xx
My wedding day was 12/5/18 I can honestly say it was the best day ever as it was in the number 1 venue the best venue with the best staff and food everything was perfect. Matt was running our special day and what a superb job he did I am so glad we had our wedding here I have had number of special occasions here 18th birthday 21st birthday it is a meaningful venue to me and my family it’s such a special venue xxxxxx

I celebrated my wedding yesterday at healds hall and I'm bowled over by it all. From start to finish the service we have received has been second to none. I cannot find sufficient superlatives to describe just how much we enjoyed our wedding reception here on 2nd June. Matthew and the staff were efficient, welcoming and gracious. It has been commented by several of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The room looked exceptional, the food was just right, in fact we could not possibly have had a better day. Everyone who stayed at the hotel was most complimentary about the rooms and the service. I would give you ten stars if I could.
Having celebrated my own wedding here last September, it was so brilliant my daughter decided to book hers here too. She had the absolute perfect day yesterday and I can not say a big enough thank you to all the staff involved - they are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend anyone to book your wedding - or any other function - here as you will not get anything better anywhere else!

Amazing quality of food as always. They offer traditional food with a contemporary twist at reasonable prices complemented with a great wine list. Very good service as well. Can't wait for our next visit.
4 years after our wedding and am amazed how this special place keeps it's wonder full charm and high standards. The food is only bettered by the friendly welcome from all the staff.
It was the first time I had been for a meal at Healds Hall, we had both my mother and father's funeral gathering there and it was very good. However having gone with our family a party if 7, I was disappointed in the food served. My food was only tepid, the dish of veg and roast potatoes had obviously been warmed up, making the roast potatoes sad and cold. The lamb was tough and not pink as ordered. So I feel at £30 a head let down by the quality of the food.
