Went to lunch with my family. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and efficient. Excellent on all counts. Will definitely be back. Thank you
Not been in for quite a long time after a mediocre meal when the head chef wasn't in. The meal we had last night was really nice and back to it's usual standard, the staff were as efficient and friendly as possible always. Will make it a favourite again.

Lovely food friendly atmosphere nicely decorated.
Last night we called in for tea. Was very disappointed on the time we had to wait, it would be nice if the waitresses would make everyone aware on the wait time. We always have a lovely meal and last night was just as good. I wasn't happy to find a member of staff with her hair not tied up
Just been for tea for my mums birthday, loved the new menu. All 4 of us tried something different and was amazing. Food, drinks and service was brilliant as always �����
Hadn’t been for quite a while because we hadn’t been impressed with the food. I must say now with the new menu and the refurbishment of the place it was lovely and the service and staff were really nice and pleasant. Great outdoor as well on lovely days. Will definitely be back.
Had a meal yesterday with a friend. Staff very polite and helpful. Food was very, very hot and tasted fresh. Had a Latte which was hot ( normally they're just warm in other places). Definitely go again and highly recommend.
Had a lovely lunch with my neighbour who didn't like any of the sandwiches on the menu, she asked if they could make her a cheese and tomato which they did without hesitation. My lunch was lovely and the waitress was friendly helpful and actually made all the difference.
Great value for money with a nice atmosphere, keep up the old work we will be back �
Delicious food well presented and above all lovely company definitely going to eat at hero's again in fact booked a table for 21st july
They sat 13 of us with only 15 minutes notice so well done to them! The food was fine, arrived all together and hot and they managed two vegan meals as well. Reasonable priced too so we'll be back.
My parents and I came for Friday lunch, the price of a tenner for a 3 course meal was exceptional. Food was fantastic, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning next week. Thank you. 5 star. Would recommend.
Lunchtime in the beer garden. Visited many time in the evening and first time in the beautiful garden . Our food was absolutely gorgeous, fresh & tasty, excellent value for money. Just a couple of observations,we felt that hand rails are needed on the steep steps that lead down to the decked area, especially for children and those not too steady on their feet. Also the door way leading from the dining room to the garden ( where groups are seated) is a bit of squeeze especially as you have to use this to get to & from the bar area as it isn't table service. It could do with a tidy too ! But as I said the food was great so we will be back x
My first visit and had heard really good reports so was disappointed to be served lukewarm soup for starters. Main course was OK - I had the pasta in sauce. Chocolate fudge cake for dessert was a bit dry. The main concern was the service. Not enough staff waiting on - we had to go & get the dessert menu after a long wait for any staff to turn up and all this time our table was left with dirty plates etc. The table was eventually cleared & dessert order taken. Again at the end of the meal no staff around & we had to go and ask for the bill. One of my companions was really disappointed as she had been the one to recommend it and she did not think it was particularly busy compared to other visits she had made. I will probably try this place again but at night rather than lunchtime just to see if the standards are any better.
Most of the food was fine but burnt chips all 3 of us left them friendly and helpful staff though
Came here for my father in laws birthday. We waited quite a length of time to eventually get the food and when it arrived it was average. The roasted salmon although very tasty with its 5 cherry tomatoes was not worth anywhere near the £15 it was priced at. We pointed out that the utensils used to serve the chips in were very rusty but we are told this was where they had been washed. The staff were very polite and a refund was given on the salmon we ordered.
We went on Christmas eve and the meal was beautiful 100% 10 out of 10
New year's eve was poor
Buffet was nice but how they had everyone going up at once was a joke. They should have had each table going up after each other.
Music they turned up late
Bottle of wine was £17 looked up on internet it was selling for £2.99.
But it's excellent for a sit down meal

Was quite disappointed when we came today, waited quite a while for the food to arrive, then we had to wait for our veg so in this time our dinner was going cold.. the veg came... it looked like packet frozen mixed veg!! The roast potatoes were rock solid!! And there was not enough gravy and we were not asked if we would of liked anymore. Was very disappointed at what seemed to be a lovely well kept restaurant..
