Went to see the wizard of oz for my sons 4th birthday and the whole audience and cast member sang “happy birthday” to him the whole family had such an amazing time! Cannot recommend the place/show highly enough

User

Watched Priscilla, Queen of the desert performed by Heywood AODS last night and it was fabulous. A big congrats to all involved especially Jo who directed it.

User

I go to Zumba Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings. £1.50 per session. It's brilliant! You can even get glasses of water. The staff are really friendly as are the other Zumba ladies and gents (yes men go too) There are different instructors but they are all great. Well done Heywood Civic !

User

Have just been to see the wild roadshow with my 5 year old daughter.I just want to say what a well organised event this was! Very impressed. Saw lots of creatures. Nice small group so we Could all have a chance to hold them and very knowledgeable lady going through facts etc. Even got hotdog and chips at the end. All for £4 each! Can't beat that. Thanks so much. Helen Holt.xx

User

Absolutely fantastic night at The Full Monty. Great value for money, very talented cast and band and lovely staff. Anyone who moans about ticket prices aren't worth the time of day it was worth every penny. Will be coming again. A hidden gem. Thank you!

User

Really liked the idea of the halloween activities and cinema. Great activity for families, very great price and food is reasonable for the price paid. Think it is under advertised as I think lots of others would really enjoy this too!! I shall share my positive experience!

User

Im a regular at the Motown and Soul nights

and they're always great and well attended.

Love dancing on that big dancefloor ,thanks to Pip and Tom, keep the music coming ktf

User

Good venue for the Thai boxing ,the thing that stopped me giving five stars was how cold inside the venue it was ,this event was in the middle if November ,staff left doors open all the way through the event and no heating was on ,I went home chilled to the bone ,which sort of spoilt the event, ,

User

Attended a dance competition, the place is self is nice. I do think you might need new lighting as some of the lights popped & broke half way through the competition leaving hardly any

User

Went to see the wizard of oz panto was ok but no Toto init and no over the rainbow song init or we're off to see the wizard apart from that it was ok

User

Went to see Cinderella yesterday!! Very disappointed no chorus, no proper scenery, no baron hardup, no widow, no proper ball, no wedding and no finale!!! Glad i already knew the story or it wouldnt have made any sense. The fairy godmother didnt come out at the end to take a bow?!

Acting and singing was amazing but clearly done on a shoestring!

User

The show Spamalot was amazing . The centre let itself down by having very poor bar service , all draft beers off and no where near enough staff

User

The film was good for the price was a little disappointed that u didn't get a drink with the hot food provided so I didn't know u had to purchase your only so I turned up with no cash on me if it wasn't for a kind lady I didn't know giving me £2 my kids would have had to sit thought the film with no drink. I think it should be put on the flyers that drink ain't included

User

Insufficient staff on the bar for a sold out event, ok 2 rang in sick, and one lady I believe came from Middleton to help or it would have been worse and the que obscured our view of the stage. Act was fantastic

User

I paid to watch cinderella panto with my 5 year old and my partner. For £21.50 for the 3 of us I wasn't expecting very much. To my surprise I was pleased. Im not expecting to watch a full production all singing all dancing opera house or lowry performance because it would probably cost me more for one ticket than it did for my 3. My 5 year old throughly enjoyed every minute and was pleased to get a photo with the performers before leaving. If the little one enjoyed themselves then that is what matters most. I thought buttons was great!

User

Went to the panto - Cinderella- today. It wasn't a patch on last year's Jack and the Beanstalk - no band / live music, no children from local dance school, only a cast of 6 with people playing multiple roles. No pantomime dame, no wicked stepmother, no Baron Hardip! Scenery? A very old woodland backdrop and then a small set in front of that to represent the Palace! Poor costumes - only two changes with most of them looking like they were from a charity shop! Gave out a few bags of Haribo sweets. Started 2.30 and finished by 4.30 including 15 /20 mins interval. Ticket prices same as last year.

Our grandchildren aged 3 and 5 loved it but we were disappointed - last year was great value for money. This year the budget must have gone on wages for the cast as it wasn't spent on anything else. What a shame / we'll go elsewhere next year.

User

Not worth the £13 that we paid, seats were very uncomfortable and not enough people behind the bar for a full house, on the plus side, we had a laugh

User

Bought tickets for Cinderella on the basis that last year's Jack and the Beanstalk was really good . This year's was very poor . Only 5 people in the cast . The fairy doubled up as an ugly sister . The scenes were rushed and meaningless. The costumes were shabby and the set was scant. The actors seemed to sense how poor it was and seemed to rush to the end. Very flat finale with no proper wedding/ball scene . Will go elsewhere next year as a disappointment .

User

Cinderella pantomine. Extremely disappointed. No effects same setting through no props. 6 people just doing a bit of singing when you can understand what they singing acting appaulling. Kids even saying it's boring. Do not waste your time and money seeing this. Really.
