had a £5k Arighi Bianci sofa. paid little over £800. Flawless. Cuisinart sandwich press £30, solid oak table £36.

Know your auctions. I have a close relationship with TLH and I am fully aware that thousands of goods get shifted weekly to happy people. So why the bad reviews? Well, people generally only leave reviews when they are disgruntled. - it IS an auction. Auctioneers will shift anything. its the nature of the industry and it is your duty as the consumer to check it. I've had one or two faulty items, but I literally paid peanuts for them, and I didn't check or read in advance. a broken ipad case and a food processor with a broken lid. i was able to replace the lid and the ipad case cost me £1. I sold it on ebay, damaged with photos for £10. It was barbour. - Just be aware and you can not only get things dirt cheap, you can make money too :D

all these negative comments sadden me, i have known this company for many years and if you view before you buy and collect your items in person then you will have no issues, i find fault in only ignorance, it is an auction, it is mostly returned or damaged items so if for example you buy a stereo and it is broken and you have not checked it, it is your own fault, i inspect almost everything before i buy and only had the odd faulty item so far, very happy and very satisfied

We have used TLH now 4 times now and each time the quality is fan-blooming-tastic, the lots are of premium quality but you have to view before bidding. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a credit to TLH, keep up the good work.

TLH is one of the best auction sites in the UK with a vast range of knowledge and experience. They have regular auctions both general and special auctions. They are a helpful and understanding auction house and whether your a bulk buyer or a first time bidder, the service is the same. The site is easy to navigate and everything you need is on hand. The required information before bidding is easy to understand and takes all the hassle out of bidding. If you have never been to an auction or have never placed a bid online TLH in my opinion, is a great place to start. The also have a talented team who works with those who are looking for a an auction to take on the sale for a company or individuals who need to clear a home or an office. I have been a client of TLH for around 6 months and I can honestly say that they have been exceptional in all aspects of the bidding process. Iook them up you will impressed.

I was recommended to try TLH by a good friend of mine. I got some really good deals for a first timer I did have one small problem with one of the items but TLH rectified this within a few hours I couldn’t fault the staff/ customer services and charlotte in resolutions was a star very responsive to my emails.

All in all I have had a really positive experience and I will definitely buy from them again and recommend them to friends and family :)

As a very loyal customer This week the Liverpool Auction has been embarrassing majority (if not all) is left over stock from last week I bid for a joblot last week was unable to collect due to being in hospital this week thought I would bid again but it has been split up into several items ....some of the online details are wrong too !! hopefully it will be just a one off ? I do not intend to recommend to anyone else as yet

zero customer service when it comes to a mistake made on their behalf. I paid for 6 items, received 5 but trying to get this rectified I was made to feel like I am being dishonest by the manager! I just want my money back for the item I did not receive. Sorry for trusting your staff too, when asking is my order complete.

- more than 15 emails

- finally tell me that the card system is not available

- Pass to pay through transfer

- I sent them the proof of payment since it takes a few days from Spain

- later they indicate me that the shipment is missing, that they had not put it

- I make another transfer

- I send the new receipt

- They send me the next day indicating that they have not received a transfer and that they block



Action was 05 February 2018. After 14 days we don't receive and we're blocked! and don't answer.

my partner and friend went and viewed the auction and we decided to bid on a couple of lot after winning the lot.I went and collected the items we have won found that the four items we had won had no batteries no battery chargers.I informed them and they do not want to know anything about it

here is no customer service in this company at all.we viewed some items another customer we've moved some parts out of the boxes the staff at the auction new about this and have been banned they refuse to give us the parts which will take it out of the boxes made it as if we had done something wrong.I would advise people not to purchase from here as they are only interested in taking your money and offering no customer service all the five star reviews ar buy friends of the company

Very poor experience buying, had card charges on invoice when card surcharging is now illegal. Was going to pick up, but then informed no card transactions are currently being accepted. Yes you can transfer or use cash, but had no access to internet banking and getting to a bank is difficult since they close down my local branch. Word of warning, pay really close attention to the admin fees, I made a purchase of 250 and it cost over 400 with charges. When something goes wrong (on their side) they are very inflexible. Had to get them to cancel the sale as they wouldn't hold the item (for 2 days without storage fees) until i could get to a bank as they weren't taking card payments, i wonder why that is, maybe something to do they couldnt surcharge on it. Will never know, but a very very poor experience from this lot. i have purchased many things from them in the past. They just lost a good customer.

Two things make them less trustworthy than a dodgy car boot sale next to a canal:

- You MUST go to the auction. They show no qualms about selling items grossly unfit for purpose or missing half the elements. Of course, the fine print say you should attend in person. Why advertise and broadcast the auction on Internet, then?

- They will charge you hidden fees. A 12.5% packing charge is not mentioned in the T&C, but very present on the bill, which you must pay within 24h so can't argue about. The best thing about the packing charge is that it does not include packing, they'll give the items loose and unprotected. Let me repeat this: the packing charge, at 12.5% of the total cost of each item, does not include packing. I kid you not.



On the good side, the people on the phone are pleasant, for whatever good that will do you.



Do not deal with them, Trading Standards will.

These people should not be allowed to trade, there basically selling rubbish that should be going to a tip, anybody leaving a good review the chances are they know them, go to your local council tip,you will see better there.

I won a pallet of items,

before paying for delivery i called to make sure they had the correct address.

The lady said yes she has the correct address, and to pay £55 for the delivery.

The delivered it at 11am this morning, to the old address.

Luckily the people who lived there have my phone number, so they accepted the delivery and called me to tell me.

Doorstep delivery, blocked the drive.

Apologies they say, we will book it for a redelivery---- by the end of the day.

Erm yeah, lets leave a pallet of electrical goods on someone else's drive in the rain, blocking the drive so no one can park.

I called them to say i would be picking it up myself as i couldn't leave all the items there on someone else drive all day!!!

I asked for a partial refund,for the fact they delivered it to the wrong address.

No they say, not our problem.

Rubbish customer service.

I will be sticking to wellers.

Also don't forget they charge a £60 packing charge on top if you are not collecting it, on top of the delivery charge.

Dreadful experience, 3 items missing from my delivery, accused me of lying, sent proof item was not ticked off on packing list, said they had proof their end that it was. Then said that items were packed 3 to a box, when I said you cant fit 3 in a box they said the boxes were not packed flat! Utter liars. First they said 2 people had confirmed that the items went, the next email said 3, the one after said at least 3 had checked, the next said that the pallet company had checked as well - manager Dave was really awful on the phone, treated me as if I was lying and said he had 4 people on his side and I had nothing since we had signed for the pallet.. What person pulls a pallet apart while the delivery company wait! They would never agree! We called them immediately we unpacked. the lot in question we didnt even bid on as the picture showed a different item, but we agreed to have it so long as it was as per the listing title. Clearly it wasnt and when they packed it, they realised their mistake and instead of acknowledging and refunding me, they accuse me of lying, cancel my next auction wins and ban me from future bidding.. what a way to treat your customers!

I was informed previously that the goods which I had bid for, won and paid for timely were relotted and sold in err but upon "their" investigation (by a different individual) they advised that the goods/items were actually delivered to a courier but cannot provide any other information.
