We had a lovely Christmas celebration today with our PIMH volunteers - thank you all for your fantastic contribution this year!

It is national ‘Local Charities Day’ today!

Last weekend we hosted a Christmas celebration for our families. It was a fantastic afternoon and the party was noisy with children laughing, dancing and excited to meet Father Christmas.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of many local businesses that gave us money, toys, prizes and food to make the party as special as it was. So from all of us at Home-Start HOST, thank you very much!

It’s our Family Christmas Party very soon and we want to make the day as fantastic as we can, and a celebration to remember!

You'll recruit, train and supervise volunteers to work with families with young children, overseeing and regularly reviewing support.

Breastfeeding is rewarding and hugely beneficial for mum and baby, but we know it's not always easy. Our team of Peer Support Volunteers provide support and advice for mums in Oldham & Tameside, for as long as they need it.

A huge thank you to Dance Like a Mother CIC for organising the 'Dance like a Daddy' event on Saturday! 56 Dads, Mums & Babies/Toddlers/Kids came along to dance, have a laugh and raise funds for Dad Matters UK.
It was an AMAZING day, and an awesome £510 was raised in total, so thank you to everyone involved!

I volunteer for Homestart at present. Great to give back through such a wonderful organisation. I have just attended the First Aid course and I would recommend it to anyone....

I received great advice and ongoing support when I unexpectedly experienced difficulty breastfeeding my second child.

I received excellent support following the birth of both my daughter and then my son when I had struggles with breastfeeding. Thank you Homestart for helping me when I needed it enabling me to continue to breastfeed my babies. I and many others I am sure really appreciate your help xxx

I have just recently become a volenteer for homestart breastfeeding peer support I have loved every part of what I have learnt so far and can't wait to learn more and be there for family's x
