Exciting news to share this afternoon as our collaboration with @runawaybrewery goes live Mackie Mayor this afternoon. Mark and the Runaway gang have taken inspiration from a @pauliegee123 classic and the result is this: soppresata, Swaledale Foods fennel sausage, mozzarella, La Latteria UK ricotta and chilli honey. You can wash it down with the Pomodoro Gose we made as well featuring Tipica san Mariano tomatoes! Stick that in your pipe January! @ Mackie Mayor

"We just had to include a pizza from heartthrob Ciro Salvo (if you don't know what we're talking about, have a look at his Instagram) and 50 Kalo, his pizzerias in Naples and London. Not just a pretty face, the pizzas we had there are some of the best we've ever had including the inspiration for this one, a calzone-style pizza. Not ...the kind of meat fest calzone you are likely to find stumbling home after a night out but instead a light, ricotta-filled pillow of dough. We are always making these for ourselves and have always wanted to put one on the menu but due to needing a cooler oven, this is the first time we've been able to do it:
Folded pizza dough, ricotta, fresh chilli, lemon, radicchio. Finished with tomato, pecorino, oregano, extra virgin olive oil"

"On a trip to Naples two years ago, we tried pizza fritta for the first time. We were amazed how light the fried dough was and think it is a great way to start our Giro. The one that particularly stood out was from Pepe in Grani in Caiazzo; pizza dough fried with no filling then topped with a slice of tomato, an anchovy, lemon zest and olive oil. Beautifully ...simple, we've tried something similar here:

Our latest NQ Neighbourhood collab is live at Mackie Mayor. We’ve worked with the NQ legends Common to transcribe their Maple Bacon Burger on to a pizza. Available until Sunday and then gone (maybe) forever....

I eat here all the time and love the quality of ingredients in every pizza. Staff are lovely, prices spot on and quick service. Best in the town. �

Honest crust is the best pizza I have tasted in the UK. I don't really want to say that, because the queues will just get longer!! As someone who is regularly in Italy, I can confirm the excellent quality of this pizza. Anyone who has a gluten intolerance, should try it, as I can eat it, and it's fine. I believe the long fermentation time is much easier on the gut. Market House can get exceptionally busy thoughBut well worth a visit

Had both vegan pizzas from honest crust in mackie mayor last night.

I honestly can’t tell you how flavoursome and amazing they were.

Me and my mrs don’t get to go out often and you really made our night. The lemon rocket pizza killed it for me! Just goes to show that with a great base and pizza sauce, cheese isn’t needed. Thanks for not using crappy coconut cheese and just taking the time to be a little more creative than mixed vegetables.



They were the kind of pizzas that I will never forget. Defo be back soon. Very soon!

Delicious pizza served up at Clitheroe food festival! Only downside was the huge queue to get a taste!

Best pizza in the world - probably - changed from my usual Nduja spicy sausage fest to a good old Neopolitana with smoked anchovies and boy was it good

Amazing pizza, the Atomica is phenomenal, my absolute favourite pizza I've ever had!

After sampling the pizza at one of the many food festivals we've seen Honest Crust at over the last year we decided this was something we'd love at our wedding. Thanks to Richard and the team for doing the evening food in Abbeystead this weekend, the pizza went down so well and it was great to see everyone huddled round the stall waiting for awesome pizzas. Anyone wanting an alternative to a bacon butty for the evening food at a wedding should get in touch with Honest Crust. Thanks again!

I popped in one afternoon while on babysitting duty. The lovely staff put her on a stool so she could watch the whole process and direct where the cheese was to go. She's a picky eater but demolished a whole Margarita and I only hot one slice! Delicious

Prices have gone up (why?) and quality has gone down (lost the better pizza chefs to Mackie Mayer?). Still a lovely atmosphere in AMH but Honest Crust must do better. I will stick to Rudy's or Double Zero for now
