Having had a successful career within the global design sector working with International brands for over a decade, we now have decided to combine our passion for venue dressing, weddings and contemporary design solutions, to offer a dedicated and timeless dressing service to local people and their events. Working alongside other like minded local services.
As design is our passion and as close to our hearts as your event is to yours, you can rest assured that attention to detail will be second to none!

Huge congratulations to John & Katie who allowed us to dress all aspects of their special autumninal themed day. It started with lining the aisle at St Mary's church with candles and vases, then on the the The Atheneaum with lanterns, dual sashed chair covers, hessian runners, log slices, fairy lights, candles, card storage and more to complete a the theme.

In June we welcomed our newest recruit to the H&D team! After the busiest summer on record we will now be taking some time out to enjoy some well deserved maternity time with this little bundle. Although we will still be taking bookings during this time, we will not be offering a design service as our studio will be closed until further notice. We had the most amazing lanterns placed in the opera house that hosted our wedding. Lorraine was amazing from start to finish. She spoke to the venue for us as they had questions about the fixtures and even helped us tie our chair ribbons the day before as me and my maid of honour were struggling. Would encourage all brides to consider the excellent service!
We got married at Blackthorpe Barn in August 2017, and we had gorgeous multicoloured lanterns from Hopes & Dreams. Lorraine was so helpful throughout, excellent at communication and sorted out coordination with the venue so that when we arrived the lanterns were already up and ready, and by the time we got up the next morning they were all cleared away! Absolutely seamless and stress-free experience, and the deposit was returned to us while we were on our honeymoon - perfect!
My husband and I recently got married at Blackthorpe Barn (there are some photos on this facebook page) We had a really simple fairy light backdrop and cream lanterns - it looked simple but stunning in such a natural venue! Lorraine really understood what we are looking to achieve (she somehow deciphered my ramblings about the fairylights!) She is also really quick to reply to emails which is helpful when you've lots of suppliers to contact and sent the deposit back really quickly too, When we walked into the barn ready to set up the day before the wedding, I was just so excited and the decorations really added to the day.Thank you very much! Me and my husband got married at Blackthorpe barn 24.06.17 we turned up the day before to decorate the barn and lorraine had already been in that morning to set up the lanterns and the fairy light backdrop, I walked in and just beamed it looked so lovely I was so excited at that moment, I just told Lorraine our colour scheme and she did the rest, what helps is she's super quick at responding which is so helpful when your a stressed bride, I booked the light back drop about a week before as soon as I saw it I had to have it, I loved it behind the top table, can't wait to see the professional pics all my guests said how lovely it looked, thank you lorraine for making the barn look so pretty and for being so professional would recommend you to anyone
