You get a lot for your money (£3!). Good layout, not guided and no scare actors so you can take it at your own pace. Few good surprises to keep you on your toes! Really interesting movie props, few history nods too! A really well put together attraction, I really enjoyed myself! Would definitely go again to take friends :)

What can I say about the crypt. If there was a word better than awesome then that would describe this little horror fans (wet) dream � horror movie props and exhibitions makes this place the best place to be and at £3 entry awesome. Won't give to much away but make sure you have a camera to take photos (my damn fone battery ran out ��) so couldn't take any photos. But I will say this, this place is run by horror fans for horror fans and speaking to the guys who run the place they said (and showed) me new props and exhibits which are coming soon. I won't give much away with regards to new exhibits but I'll say this:



'You can't keep a good guy down'

Went here yesterday after pleasure beach and just got to say I was really freaked out I felt on edge in there 😂 it was brilliant and I'm a huge horror movie fan and seeing all the props was amazing !! The owner has put alot of hard work into the place and it definitely shows :D I don't scare easy but this did the trick and for 3 quid you can't argue with that :D also shout out to austin I think his name was he was in costume and he did a good job and put everything into that role and even gave us a cheeky high five when we left 😂

We knew we'd love it :D been waiting ages to visit it and see the sights in Blackpool, and was great catching up with Kurt :D thanks for the amazing walk through, the animatronics are amazing!! �

We came to Blackpool specially to see the horror crypt,and we weren’t disappointed, it’s a great attraction, the staff were friendly and helpful and the admission price was very reasonable.would definitely go back again

Myself and partner Kim went yesterday and to be honest was not expecting too much.... but the host was very friendly ushering us into the start area suggesting that we take lots of photos and take as long as we wanted to look around. The moment we walked in we was so impressed with everything, this is certainly not cheap and you can tell a lot of time and passion has gone into something We consider very scary and enjoyable. Actual movie props and our favourite horror characters bought to life! Amazing and will definitely be back, highly recommended, and for the price it's an absolute steal.... should charge more! —

Loved it. Quite comical for us but we are die hard horror fans n don't scare easy.

I went with one of my service users who has been asking to go for a while.

I screamed and jumped lots of times, well worth the £3 entry fee. I cannot recommend the Horror Crypt enough. Will definitely be visiting again soon. And Kurt is such a friendly host. If you are in Blackpool and want somewhere different to go, where you are guaranteed a fright then this is the place to go!

I took my family of 5 to visit the Horror Crypt last week and we all fully enjoyed ourselves. I have been a horror fan since the late 1980s and seeing a place like this has been awesome. I was allowed to take pictures, And it was only £3 per person to entry. Bargain. We all hope to visit again next year.

I think all the other great reviewers have summed this place up. Horror fans dream. The guy who runs it couldn't be more friendly. Spent a good 15 mins talking and made the visit even better. Support this attraction so it can get bigger and better! Thanks for the experience!

Horror Crypt oozes both chills and charm. As a fan of 80's horror, I was happy to see some familiar faces within the crypt's confines. I never got to experience the Horror Crypt of old (it was always closed), but I was very impressed with the most recent incarnation that Kurt (owner) and his awesome staff presented me with. The props and effects are a fantastic blend of modern and old school. One of the scares caught me completely unawares (yes, I did scream), so kudos for that! This place is definitely worth the entrance fee. Please go and support this fantastic small business if you ever find yourself in Blackpool! It's a scream!

A great place to visit if you’re into your horrors, all realistic sets with no tacky props like you’d usually see in ghost train/walk through attractions and at only £3 entry it’s a no brainer! will visit again for sure.

As a big horror fan, just had to visit. Fantastically atmospheric and a real labour of love.. I wish I could live in it!

A very different experience to what I expected in the best way. The atmosphere builds and allows you to enjoy and appreciate all the classic horror movies on display. Really keep your eyes open, there's a ton of things I missed out on and will need to keep an eye out for in my next visit. A genuine pleasure to visit for fans of horror. Just remember to wait at the electric chair ;)

A must for all Horror movie fans. You will be amazed at the amount of Horror film historical artifacts on show in the Horror Crypt Blackpool. I was pleasantly surprised in what I learnt from my visit. Great value for money take you time going round and reading up on displays. I would recommend you to take your selfies with some of the Crypt monsters as they are cool to look at and come out great on your phone.
