Horus Birds of Prey specialize in everything falconry from static and flying displays, School visits, experience days, care home visits, birthday parties, weddings in fact anything you could use a Bird of Prey for.
Paul has been a practising falconer for over 30 years and is extrememly passionate about his work. Linda joined him after they met and married a few years ago learning about the art and everything it has to give.
We are a friendly and very approachable Company who pride ourselves in our exceptionally high standards in the welfare of our birds with a professional standard in everything we do.

Well that's Ted's over with for the Summer, and what an incredible Summer it's been although we'll be back for October half term. Tomorrow we are at Woodplumpton fete 11 till 4.30 and Sunday its Party in the Park, Padiham.
Just back from Gregson Green Gala day. Unfortunately a very wet day indeed. So sad as these organisers put in so much hard work throughout the year which can be destroyed by our British weather. Unfortunately our gazebos were casualties today, the neighbour who lives next to the field had a bit of a shock when one landed in his garden and another upside down in his hedge but no one was hurt, the birds are fine and on assessing the damage its very minimal so alls well. Huge thanks to Kay for her help today in these awful conditions.
One man and his bird, a battle of wills and Chip is winning although today we managed to get him on his block on his own for a short spell. He's a strong minded little chap but we'll get there.
What an amazing day we've just had! Can't thank Paul, Jo & Linda enough. The birds are so well cared for and loved. Each bird has their own personality & 'little ways'. Loved all the birds but Basil the Harris Hawk was just fantastic and Nugget the Bengal Eagle Owl was fab! Would highly recommend to everyone!
We've attended a Total Experience which was our daughter's surprise Birthday present from us. This was a fabulous day for all even though as parents we were only there to observe and take numerous photos. The birds are so well looked after and the experience includes the handling of, and seeing a good number of birds in action. An excellent value for money event. It won't be the last time we meet them. Thank you Paul and Linda for a wonderful experience.
We had a visit from 3 beautiful owls this evening Flint š, Popeye š and Nugget š.
It was a birthday surprise arranged by Becky for her 92 year old granny but we all loved it and we are absolutely buzzing! I can hardly believe I have just had owls in my kitchen but we have some wonderful photos to prove it. A magical, unforgettable experience. Thank you.
We booked Horus for my mum's 60th birthday and I'm so glad we did, mum had a wonderful experience and so did the kids, the knowledge of the birds and the love and care shown to them is phenomenal and the hour 'flew' by. Great information and such fun handling the birds. Thank you so very much for such a wonderful time and we will definitely be seeing you again xx
The bird's welfare and that of the surrounding wildlife was really important to these guys and it showed. Not only did I witness the fantastic flying ability of these birds, I learned something about them too. Cheers guys, will see you again soon :)
Met these guys at farmer teds wonderfully knowledgable and brilliantly friendly, plus their birds are in such brilliant condition.
Also on a side note their ethics regarding bird training and handling is top notch.

Iād like to say a huge Thank-you to Paul for yesterday. He came to the rescue at short notice and made my daughters birthday party one to remember! My daughter had a Harry Potter themed party and Paul brought a selection of owls to add to the magic. He kept the group of 2-8 year olds gripped and allowed them all to stroke and hold the birds!

I have volunteered for Horus Birds of Prey since May 2012, I absolutely love being out and about with these guys. I have learnt so much from my time with them and I am looking forward to learning so much more. The bird's health and Wellbeing are Paul and Linda's top priority and it's great to volunteering where I get hands on experience with the birds. Paul and Linda are very genuine people and demonstrate professionalism throughout. Thank you for the amazing opportunity xx
Horus came to my school today to do a talk to my Year 4 class. They loved it all and couldn't wait to tell their parents at the end of the day. Thank you so much.
Horus came and did our daughters birthday party. Leant lots of things and all the children held the birds and interacted with them. Would recommend this to any animal lover xx
Had a lovely day out at Farmer Teds Ormskirk today. especially loved the birds of prey show. Paul was very friendly,funny and obviously an expert in this field. It was very obvious that he has a real passion for his birds and their welfare. I learned more about birds of prey today, than I have ever done before at other shows that go on for hours. Thank you
Fantastic, start to finish. We met the guys and the birds at leisure lakes, and I booked an owl experience for my boyfriend as a surprise. It was a really different gift, but he loved it, the handlers were some of the most professional people I have come across, yet the most normal and down to earth as well. I would highly recommend this as a really good gift, and the birds were very happy and clearly well cared for. Thanks again guys, give the birds a hello from us xx thanks again x
Fantastic flying experience. Paul and Linda were great. Will recommend to anyone to have a flying experience with Paul, Linda and their beautiful owls. The characteristics of their birds are great such healthy beautiful birds. Paul even brought Buzz he's stunning falcon to fly for us. Amazing weather aswell. Overall great experience with two very lovely people. Thank you very much and we will see you both again soon.

Came to our daughters 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Absolutely fantastic! Lovely people with an informative and fascinating presentation. Birds are beautiful and obviously well loved and looked after. Not sure who enjoyed it more the kids or the adults but all would highly recommend!
An absolutely incredible experience which I would not hesitate to recommend. Paul and Linda are so friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience such incredible fun. All the birds were incredible to meet and spend time with, and I have to say that it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. To be so close with the birds and to interact with them was a very special thing indeed. So thank you to Paul and Linda but most importantly to the birds for their grace and finesse. Absolutely wonderful. I would not hesitate to book again!
