RPM with Rob. He's a slavedriver! You're going as fast as you possibly can and he's just shouting "don't you slow down, keep going, go faster, turn that resistance up!" Sometimes I want to say leave me alone, my legs are going to fall off! :-D I love every miserable exhausting minute of it. Brilliant class, brilliant instructor, brilliant results. Can't wait for my next one. Love Darren and Stacey too. (I'm the one who always needs help getting her new shoes out of the pedal clips.)

User

Hello! I was recently there. All was nice. We were climbing for 1 hour with children. Stuff was helpful and atmosphere was also nice. Some day will come again! Thank's a lot!

User

Brilliant place.. had a session today with Mark and he gave me a workout plan to follow. Showed me what equipment to use and how to use it. Was a brill environment and I am now hurting. But will be worth it. Can't wait to get back in there

User

Brilliant combat class Tuesday evening with Gareth! as per usual he really pushes you to your limit. And also makes it enjoyable 10 out of 10 every time 😀

User

Started back this week and apart from the swimming bath changing rooms and toilet being below par the gym, pool and staff are excellent.

User

I go to the gym and can't fault the equipment or the instructors. The problem I find is the lack of etiquette of some of the users, particularly in the weights area who don't seem capable of putting equipment away! Bars, handles, rope handles are just left on the floor instead of putting them in the box. Also there is a sign asking users to strip heavy weights off the leg press after use. As I only use 40kg I spend more time stripping it down before I use it than I do actually using it. Come on guys, your mum doesn't work in the gym, tidy up after yourselves. Also if you need to use your phone, have the manners to step away from the equipment, you are not the only person in there.

User

Great RPM session this morning any chance we can have a different Les Mills virtual track it's been RPM78 for a few weeks now.

User

It seems to me that the gym and classes are very good since the refurb but i have to admit the changing rooms where a little mucky and the showers need to be changed! There was only and 2 others having a shower and the water presure was shocking! I could not wash my hair proberly because as soon as i pressed the on button when i grabbed my shampoo the shower had turned off straight away. When I was younger and part of the aces swimming club the changing rooms where not unisex and they where better and more powerful showers back then and STAYED ON! This need to be sorted asap!!!

User

Took my 14 month old to the soft play area. Well if you want to call it that. A few soft shapes and a slide . Not really what I paid £3.50 for . My little lad brought me a broken plastic slush cup from under the tunnel. Whole soft play area was disgusting. I don't know when it was last cleaned . Bits of food,Broken cups. It also clearly states toddlers but yet older kids of say around 10/11 We're running onto where my lad was playing nearly sending him flying on 1 occassion. Staff just stay at the desk not even watching over the area . No organisation skills no cleanliness I think the cleanest area in there was the toilet where I changed him and saying that the nappy bin was over flowing, I doubt that's from today. Will not be going again . Complete rip off

User

Never got told there was a party on. Apparently the staff didn’t need to ‘tell us’ meaning me and my little ones only got 15 minutes in the pool.

Won’t be going again!

User

My review is not about the centre itself, which my family and I enjoyed the last time we went but today I phoned the centre cause I was trying to find out more information about swim tots and parent and a child sessions and the receptionist after a very short answer hung up on me while I was talking. I thought it had just been an accident but after trying to ring the centre 3 more times and being hung up on all 3 occasions I gave up. I was quite disappointed to be treated so rudely when we just recently moved into the area.

User

Love the virtual classes, but the facilities are filthy. The sanitary bin in the ladies’ toilet has been overflowing the last two days and the studio is covered in hair balls!

User

I did combat last night with Gaz it was brill so hard but great music and he brought fun to you the class if went so quick . Sweat was pumping out of everyone he motivated the whole room . I can hardly walk up my stairs with aches but I know I worked hard due to being pushed . Thanks gaz was fab

User

Gym environment fine. Staff useless, spending time talking to their clique of members seemingly oblivious to the fact that their chums spend an hour or more hogging one piece of equipment, whilst other members have to step over weights left lying around by the same chums.

Message sent regards this sent two months ago, still no reply.

If it was a star rating for staff, it would be a zero.p

After a year of ill health , I returned yesterday for a long awaited swim and was really looking forward to it, with a view to re joining the gym.

Well after having to change in the dirtiest changing rooms I have ever been in and seeing disgusting dirty toilets , I won't be returning .

It can't have been cleaned ever , it made me feel dirty

Thank you btw for the free promotional swim but you certainly won't be seeing me again or my friend that I had highly recommended you to for your gym

User

The changing rooms, showers and swimming pool area are disgusting. They are all so dirty. They should be cleaned every 30 minutes to 1 hour giving the amount of people that pass through them on a daily basis.

User

Paid over £160 for our daughters 7th birthday with climbing wall and food. Arrived no reserved tables for party/parents (did bring some out after we complained). Climbing walls were good and kids enjoyed them with 3no staff which worked well but..... Went onto party, wasn't told when food or room was ready had to assume and make our own way in. Only half the food was brought out had to again go back and question what had been organised. Plated it all out ourselves including drinks, sorted cake and party bags ourselves with no interaction from anyone at the venue staff just stood around chatting. If your wanting a served party with a bit of entertainment for kids don't bother if I knew it was going to be like this id have paid the £100 for climbing and took all kids McDonalds. Safe to say we won't be arranging a party there again.

User

Machines are often broken, functionality of website is awful, membership's expensive, you need a fat rubber key to get on any machines, gym poorly laid out, steamroom often closed, staff know little about the facilities or policies, weights room is well overcrowded, water filters need changing, nobody answers front desk phones, kids on scooters everywhere, stinks of chips in the entrance...

Also, there are no legit climbing walls; just ridiculous willy wonka looking nonsense.
