Was a great day for my 5 year old and 4month old baby girl. My boy wants to go again. He loved the waves and the slide. To the parents that leave their baby's/toddlers nappies in the changing room or on the floor, your all tramps. There is a bin in the middle of the family changing room for the nappies, try being an adult and use them.

User

Took my son 13yrs to celebrate end of year 8!! Loved it .. its awesome the slide is great the rapids are fun i loved the alarm to sound the waves starting .. n the bubble beds are dreamy.. we went Friday night 4.30 till 9pm. The fire alarm went off but so smoothly out n back in again. We cant wait to go again. 1 thing tho why did we have to swap our goggles?? We had the big snorkel type goggles .. forgot to ask x

User

My Grandaughter insisted i went in to the pool it looked crowded so i was going to sit and watch and im so glad i went in the pool. We all had so much fun really enjoyed ourselves loved the waves. Alex our grandaughter loved the slide and she is a confident swimmer only 8 she is x

User

Great morning.. we went as a family of 4, me, my husband and 2 children.. the staff were lovely and very helpful and the lifeguards were always in sight which is reassuring. We went early to avoid disappointment.

User

Came yesterday with family and my 2 sons they both absolutely loved it here and my youngest who's 5 loved the slide we couldn't keep him away lol.. place was a little busy but hey its the school holidays. Will definitely be returning

User

Came here for the first time with my 2 boys 11 & 5 after it being recommended to me several times from friends. Both boys loved it!! My youngest who is a non-swimmer could go on independently because the end of the side was very swallow and not into a pool. My eldest loved the water canon, rapids and waves. We spent 3 hours here which felt like 2 minutes. £12 for 1 adult & 2 children was excellent value! We will definitely be returning!! 😃👍🏼

User

Never been here before. Stumbled across it on a kids activity site.

Great facilities for a small pool. Rapids, wave pool, squirty jet things and a big slide. I particularly like the slide as it ends in a tray of water oppose to a pool so non swimmers can go on. My 4 yo loved her 1st slide experience.

Prices aren't bad and there's a free car park.

As with all pools, the changing areas leave a lot to be desired. The floor was grim and there's not many changing cubicles. And for a pool that big and only 6 showers-the same showers for pre and post swim.

All in all we had a good time and will go again - only place like this in the area!

User

My children when young used this pool and now we're taking our grandaughter there, it's a great place but could do with cleaning up and modernizing bit dated now

User

We visited today with a 2 year old and a 9 year old. The changing rooms were dirty and there seems to be alot of boisterous older children/teenagers aloud to run riot! There was so many occasions my 2 year old got hit/splashed directly in the face. I understand its a pool and kids like to splash but there was no regard for younger children (which i know is not the centres fault, i just think behaviour should be monitored a bit more) appart from that we really enjoyed it. Yes it was very busy and it was kind of crowded BUT we still had a good time and the children loved the lazy river/slide and waves. We would visit again but maybe in a morning rather than afternoon in hope that it will be cleaner. I would of given more stars if the changing rooms would of been clean.

User

Visited for the first time on the 29.12.17 Lovely clean swimming baths couldnt fault the swim area or changing rooms what really let it down was the rude staff within the cafe no please or thank you and pulled face when we wanted serving as that meant her putting her mobile phone down and doing her job.

User

Great fun for kids they love the slide and waves, just feel it's needs a good clean and a tidy up... when my daughter as lesions there I have not seen the windows clean once in the waiting area. Feel it's a dirty place but the lesson are good value for money and she likes going.. she as been on stage 2 for ages they don't always get in the pool with them.. the teachers are good with the children.

User

took my 5 yr old on Sunday afternoon... never again... q was a mile long to get in a man came and warned us we mite av a wait for a changing room and lockers.. I said to my son shall we go but he got upset as wanted to stay.. paid to get in and finally got a changing room which didn't lock properly and door keept coming open so sorry to the people walking past that seen me (hope u didn't get nightmares last nite lol) there was also a dirty swimming nappy that some lazy person didn't bother to move not to mention all sweet wrappers on the floor... it's was absolutely disgusting. then got in the pool omg it was madness didn't even attempt to go on the slide as the q was all the way down ... was way to busy couldn't even swim in the water as was nowhere to move think I got kicked bout 100 times with people trying to get past... y they don't have a band system I don't know.. sure that's health and safety issue having that many people in... never again would I go at a weekend... in fact after the experience we had don't think I'd wanna go again... all that money and you can't even move and have a bit of space to even breathe. way overpriced.

User

over priced as they charged me wrong. n had wait 20 min get a changing room which was dirty... pool was tiny and overcrowded

User

Had a nice family day but it was overcrowded there was only one lifeguard if some1 was drowning they won't of seen them the pool was that full I found it a bit dangerous an I also pulled the muscle in my neck in the changing rooms coz I was getting pushed about I would go again but not on a weekend there should be a limit to how many can be in the pool at once

User

Thanks Hyde swimming, I’ve got a 5.5 year old in floods of tears in the car park as he wasn’t allowed into Wally Walrus for being a few months over the age limit. His two year old sister is also crying as she can’t go in either. I understand that you need to have rules about who comes in but perhaps a slightly more empathetic attitude from the jobsworth at the front desk would have been sensible. Next time I’ll lie and suggest others do the same if your child is close to the age limit.

User

Please can you update your website about last admission for the fun swim we drove from Urmston to Hyde arrive at 1432 and got sent away as the last admission is 1430, despite us saying due to the age of the children we would only be in the pool about 30 minutes anyway. Then had to deal with a very sad 2 year old who had been promised a swim all day. Fair enough if there is a last admission policy but this isn’t clear on your website (I e checked since and still can’t see it) and we would have come earlier, we only came later thinking it would be quieter after the rush.

I've been going to hyde leisure since 2009.ive never really had a problem with the gym.its the changing rooms that have gone right down hill, hence why I've been going on the longer journey to i train.the changing rooms at hyde are manky, there's never any shower gel in showers, floors are disgusting, and it smells to high heaven, and when I've said things in the past, 2 certain managers, its"oh we are getting a male cleaner in,in the next few weeks"how longs a few weeks coz it's been going on for 6 months at least.buck your ideas up,people are paying for this service!!!

User

I take my daughter on Sundays, the pool area is ok, but can get over crowded, there needs to be more changing area as we were waiting around for one

The lady in the cafe is very miserable didn't look like she wanted to serve me!!!

User

I am very annoyed and unhappy! Trying to get hold of someobody to make a complaint!! My niece travelled down on the train from glossop on the train with her friend. Only to be told she couldn't swim!!! She has a cast on her arm below the elbow! I provided her with a Bloccs waterproof cover, which the guy told her was only for baths and showers. When on the actual packaging I have here its shows children happily swimming and says it is gaurenteed for swimming! People use them to swim abroad all the time hence why I invested in one!! The guy then proceeded to tell her if she hits someone with it!! . Dear god she's there to swim not bloody fight!! Every other swimming baths we've been too she has been allowed to swim so why not at your baths????? Not impressed at all and the only swimming baths in the Area that won't allow them to swim with an approved waterproof cover which the hospital suggested to us!! Now my niece is very disappointed and having to make her way all the way back on the train with her friend after looking forward to their trip out!!!! Somebody needs to phone me asap as I've spent the last hour on the phone trying to get hold of someobody with no joy!!!! I've inboxed my number to the Fb private message to phone me!!!!!
