2017 Openings - We are open from 11:00 - 17:00. Come and visit us!

User

Everything is bigger at Illuminasia and No your eyes don't deceive you that is a giant poster laying in our foyer! All we have to do now is find a big enough space to hang it from, any suggestions?

User

One of our dinosaurs has smelled the Easter Eggs and is trying to escape illuminasia. Our barriers are holding him for now so if passing why not have your picture taken with him!

User

Happy Easter! As well as our Easter Egg trail running over the Easter weekend, why not pop in and see our Dinosaur eggs? New for this year, our Dino Zone! Pop in and meet our cute (and not so cute!) dinosaurs!

User

Are you brave enough to walk through our dinosaur zone? Officially opening at Easter, anybody that comes this weekend can have a sneak preview of what is in store. Make sure you bring your cameras!!

User

If coming to the StayBlackpool trade show at Empress Ballroom in the Winter Gardens today between 10 AM and 4 PM be sure to visit our illuminasia stand where you can find out more about our new Dinosaur Zone opening at Easter and even collect a ticket for a sneak preview today!

User

We aren't saying the new dinosaurs at Illuminasia are amazing but look at the reaction from the triceratops at Blackpool Zoo when they saw them!

User

As we reached the final day of our Artisans visit, the men have welded and 'bulbed' a dinosaur for display outside our attraction. As you can see from the video below the girls are now covering the lantern. We will miss our team of 11 Artisans as they have a safe flight back to Zigong, China tomorrow, but know that everybody is going to be blown away by the new room they have created for us. Come see us this Easter and marvel at our dinosaur zone!

User

As it is Mothering Sunday we thought it was worthwhile treating you to another exclusive. Fearless Yang is willing to take his life into his own hands to hand paint our T. rex! A Dab of paint on the eyes and his work is complete. Don't forget to add Illuminasia to your Easter list of activities.

User

You will notice a few changes around illuminasia this weekend whilst we prepare to open our dinosaur room next week. Please bear with us, the 3-D is being moved so is not available but get your ticket stamped at the door and you can return once the dinosaur room is open and the 3D is installed in our cafe area!

User

great fun, the family loved it, reasonably priced too! (Not sure after seeing other reviews if the £5 each we paid was cheaper than normal because a couple of bits weren't on) but we spent quite a long time in there doing the quizzes so thought the price was good.

User

Went with my grandchildren aged 5 & 8 & my daughter & had a fab time. All of us enjoyed it equally. It was fun & would definitely recommend for all ages. The children got a certificate at the end for finding all the coins. The 3D film was excellent also & the children were mesmerised by it. Everything about it was amazing. Hope it returns next year cos we'll definitely be planning another trip there :)

User

We went yesterday to this fantastic display at Winter Garden's. My 3 year old loved walking round to see what we could find, she also loved receiving a certificate at the end! You can see so much effort has gone into making everything. I've never seen anything like this before. We spent an hour going round taking everything in, we didn't want to leave.

User

We all has such a lovely day. Thank u for zoey for showing us around and making the day fun for us all. My son and nephew loved all the lights and the laser show. Hopefully we will be going again. Thank you again x

User

WOW what a fantastic place! a real hidden gem , great for all the family young or old amazing models vey well made and a great show to finish off all for £5 each what a place! Fantastic friendly staff I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area! 5*+

User

Visited today with my 7 and 11 year old children both were amazed by the whole experience. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it too. So glad we got to visit before it closes its doors today for the last time. Well done to everyone involved and thank you for the memories we will treasure them forever.

User

Very pretty worth a visit. I'd expand it even more. Probably in wrong place and I would rethink the laser show a bit boring needs to be much more spectacular especially in Blackpool. Also not worth more then £5 each don't overprice yourself

User

This was so amazing, and a great addition to our weekend to see the illuminations, we happened to attend on the last but one day so our admission was only £5.00 and all the flashing toys half price, brilliant value.

User

Great time adventuring through these amazing creations. Unfortunately my baby girl slept through it but didn't stop us having a good time. Reasonable priced at £5 per person, baby was free.

User

Fab place the detail is amazing. Loved the land of giants. It was like being in 'Honey I shrunk the kids'. Definately worth a visit.

User

An amazing experience and fantastic value for money. We took our children with us and they really enjoyed the attraction. Especially looking for all the clues in the sheet we were given.

User

Absolutely brilliant! So much work has gone into the sculptures. It finishes in November so if you plan to go and see it, make it soon! It will be so sad to remove all the models. We have a 18 month old and 6 year old and both of them were enchanted. Our eldest one loved the coin hunt and the scratch card questions and our youngest loved walking round the lights, jumping on the reactive sea projection on the floor and seeing the laser show. Myself and my 64 year old mum found it incredible - an attraction for all ages! I would highly recommend this for a 2-3 hour visit although it could be completed in less time if you wanted.

User

Absolutely breathtaking. So glad that we stumbled upon this exhibition. The amount of work that has gone into making these beautiful, intricate pieces is magnificent. Highly recommended - and at £5 per person (kuds under 2 go free) a bargain.

User

What a great place to take the little ones, we had 3 with us one is a 7month baby,a 2 & 4 year old, the girls loved it, especially the garden room with all the giant insects, the huge room with London bridge etc was great, if I have one tiny criticism it's that the laser show wasn't long enough, the girls loved dancing in the lights but there was only one song then it was over! Value for money was really good at £5 pp don't know what it is normally. Thank you Illuminasia for a lovely afternoon.

User

We went to Illuminasia yesterday. Firstly there had been a horrific thunder storm that had flooded areas so we went off to do something else first. For the price it's fab and my kids enjoyed doing the trails even thou the coins one made little sense and people had moved them. The lanterns are spectacular and very very impressive really beautiful. Was a little sad to hear staff members say it wasn't making any money and would need to close. Really worth a visit we spent longer in here than up the tower and it's all undercover. Suitable for all ages. Only let down for us was staff a little disorganised at beginning and needed to be clearer on website you can call anytime in day between 11 and 5. Good family attraction we only paid £5 each

User

This is a great place, the kids and I loved it a real hidden gem. Think the desk man could have been a bit more enthusiastic, didn't seem to care about his job at all which is sadn

User

My wife and I took my 10 year old daughter, who has ASD, and my 5 year old nephew. All four of us loved the displays. The colours are so bright and vibrant and must have taken hundreds of hours to create. Rated it 4⭐️ rather than 5 because the displays are nearing the end of their life and were looking a bit shabby, with several blown lights in places. Also, the coin 'treasure hunt' had been sabotaged with a good third of the coins appearing to missing. It was still a very enjoyable day out and good value at £5pp. I'd definitely recommend it.

User

Went today with my child and my parents at the advertised time on Facebook and in line with the advertised opening times on the leaflet and it was closed. No indication on this page or on the website. Came from Preston and paid for parking. Wasted trip and unhappy child.

User

I have been here a couple off times and really enjoyed it but today was a safety hazard has there was water drip in all over the place and just puddles off water everywere to no 3d show are laser show after the 3 attempt off coming here . The staff all looked miserable to
