Used my small 40w co2 laser to cut some stencils to paint my logo on Turned out quite good😎

User

Almost ready for collection, custom built 4000Nm Hub Dyno, this on is getting Land & Sea DYNOMAX control system fitted

User

out with the old 2.5Hp motor and in with a now 7.5Hp motor now I can make some chip's from only being able to cut 1mm each cut so 2mm diameter to 4mm each cut 8mm on the diameter 😎

User

From 50KG to 13KG one almost done last week, slow progress with low power motor on the Lathe So.……...

User

Almost done building these, bit more lathe work to do

User

making good use of the new build table. setting up fixtures to hold everything perfectly aligned for welding

User

new fabrication table designed laser cut and built

todays Total is 1372.5BHP & 1529.7 ft/lb torque with just 3 cars one BMW making 555.1BHP & 587.4ft/lb another BMW making 530.2BHP & 567.6ft/lb and a focus ST making 287.2BHP & 374.7 ft/lb not a bad day!

Had the bearing on my main dyno absorber destroy it's its self and damaged the shaft again, last time I made a sleeve to repair it but this did 3 years before failing, this time I decided to build up the shaft with weld and re-machine it back to original dimensions, this looks to of been successful all I need now is the new bearings and seal's and see how long it lasts this time.

User

got some testing done on the scooter dyno, done a lot of tweaks to the firmware of the dyno controller to make it easy to use, can now change most of the settings like roller inertia, torque calibration, PID settings, speed factor ( to get the correct speed in mph from the roller diameter ), gear ratio, and other input channels calibrations, all value's can be stored in the screen memory then retrieved from memory with one button press, this way all settings could be changed... but only take affect when they have been saved and enter button pressed. if power is lost, when restarted the controller will automatically press the enter button to get the saved setting so they don't need to be set again, doing it like this means that all the settings only need to be read once instead of every time the controller goes through the loop ( at 120 MHz it is a lot of time reading values it only needs to know if they are changed), so more time to do things it needs to do.

almost finished the scooter dyno, just need a bike or scooter on it to test it now, probably need the PID settings tuned for the eddy brake control as its a different size to the last one

User

almost done building, testing next ready for collection

User

made good progress on the scooter dyno build

User

The new circuit board's have arrived and have got components on now ready for testing on the dynos, (some very small surface mount components! ). Also mad some progress with the Scooter Dyno build, Eddy brake has been re-wired from 12 volts to 72 volts and have a power controller for it to use 230 volt mains with an adjustable max output for this small retarder.

User

Dyno lineup! Hub, Bike, Scooter. Just some of the latest designs

User

New controller board design done for easy connection of: 4 Roller/Hub RPM inputs Coil or ECU RPM input 2 digital inputs 4 torque inputs... AFR input Boost input 4 0-5V user inputs 8 PWM outputs for Eddy brake and fan control etc. Weather Station input with Air Temp, Air pressure and Humidity CANBUS communications
2WD & 4WD Hub Dyno's will be easier with this new board layout

Used jdm for years for everthing from mapping to fabrication always been a very good service and will continue to use them for years to come.

User

Took the car down from Aberdeen and was not disappointed. John really knows his stuff and offered sound no nonsense genuine advice. Found a few extra horses and smoothed out the torque delivery making a much more usable and competitive rallycar. Excellent result and well priced. I would certainly recommend JDM Dyno.

User

Had alot of work done over the years, very nice guy to deal with and very knowledgeable.

User

Excellent service did a great job on my car (would highly recommend)
