Called in for breakfast on a whim whilst passing, staff behind the bar was very professional as I had not been before, as much coffee, fruit, yoghurt and cereal as I wanted staff came over to my table to take my breakfast order only when I was ready. Breakfast was perfect and all for £8:99 can not be faulted. Thankyou.

A massive thank you to the manageress of this restaurant for looking after my daughter when she got stuck in the horrendous conditions last night when the m62 was closed. She made sure my daughter got a room at the premier inn for the night thank you so much.

My wife and I have been very regular customers over many years. Our last visit was a disaster.

Poor service, poor food and a Choir of F### this and f## that from a horde of "travelers". Whilst a young member of staff attempt to quieten them the management were conspicuous by there absence. The replies from TableTable when I voiced my complaint have been totally inadequate. I quote.

In spite of losing several" tabletable" points I do not intend to take my wife or grandchildren again.

I took my mum for an early evening meal at 6.00pm. I didn't book because it was a Wednesday evening...big mistake! It was really busy and there were no tables available in the restaurant. We sat in the pub area and ordered our meals and drinks at the bar. Excellent choice of food. Great menu with reasonable prices. I had the lamb with red wine jus, minted potatoes and cauliflower cheese...it was gorgeous and I demolished it. Mum had the sirloin steak Diane with crispy fried onions and chips. She enjoyed it but she ordered medium rare and found difficulty in chewing it. I tried it and it was fine. If you only like your meat pink then order medium or medium to well done. As I said, it was busy. We ordered at 6.10pm and the food came at 7.05. A little late I think and when mum asked the waiter who brought the food for another drink he told us that we would have to order at the bar ourselves. However, he was polite and apologetic..so don't expect restaurant service when you're eating in the bar area. We will return but we will book the restaurant in future!

Have been visiting for the last couple of years now, & have never been disapointed, called last night for an anniversary offer, & couldn't fault anything, prompt service happy pleasant polite waitress, had the sirloin steak medium rare & was extremely good! Cooked exactly how I asked, very happy

One slice of toast cut into 4 wasn't enough but what do you expect when you go for pub grub. A little overpriced but on the whole I'm not gonna make a song and dance about it because we knew what to expect. It'll probably be a while before we return but return we will...if only for a drink.

When we asked to see the manager, she came after 20 mins, and asked what we expected her to do. Not only was the food not delivered as we'd asked, but the attitude of the manager wasn't very good at all. We won't be returning

Food was poor , I had the Haddock & Chips , Haddock was fine but Chips where very bland & dry , my wife had the Turkey dinner Beans where hard Yorkshire Pudding had no taste ( her comments ) my grandson had the Merlot Pie and Mash again beans hard also Mash tasted like instant Mash, ( His words ) also the place is looking tired

Waited an hour and a half for our food . When it came it was auful . My husband ordered mixed grill with no onion rings . He got half a plate of peas 3 dried up pieces of meat and a giant pile of onion rings ..no chips no egg no sausage . All dried up as though it had been kept warm for ages.. only plus pint was that they didn't charge us for it.

Scant regard for customers- waiting at bar to be served - bar attendant acknowledges I’m waiting, continues activities for several more minutes, second customer appears at bar - bar attendant knocks on ‘back room’ to seek support. This only becomes an option when there are two people you can’t serve? Won’t be back!

I won't be coming back to this restaurant again. Went for a family meal, I ordered a mixed grill. The steak was freezing cold so I asked a member of staff to change it, she proceeded to pick the steak off my plate with her hands, clearly having no regard for hygiene. She then tells me she will get me another one. She brings over a new steak, which I will add was just as worse as the first one. I asked for it to be medium well, it comes on a small plate dripping in blood, still pretty much raw.



Safe to say, I didn't eat the rest of my meal. Absolutely shambolic.

I know these are mid range chain restaurants but god sake it was just awful, no staff so there was a forever wait for a table so decided to eat at a bar table, the line up at the bar was ten deep and only one person on the bar.



The fish was okay by the accompanying greens where just totally inedible, how they can live with this I don't know

Had a chicken salad ..the chicken was very rubbery and only about 4/5 pieces of chicken which I had to dig for as there was so much lettuce in the bowl and it was very bland ..needless to say I won't be going again and will not recommend this food establishment to any of my friends and family .. this establishment needs to provide fresh food not out of a packet or frozen ��

Ate here Bank Holiday - food was terrible- all frozen food heated up and aren't they a fan of the deep fat fryer! Asked for a salad was told not enough for a full salad. Ordered a steak which was tough and tasteless with frozen warmed up veg. When the waitress asked us how the food was and we said not so good she spoke for all to hear and was very persistent in asking us what was wrong rather than being subtle in her enquiries. Would definitely not recommend

Great management and great staff. A Good selection of beers and food. What more could you ask for!

Called in for breakfast on a whim whilst passing, staff behind the bar was very professional as I had not been before, as much coffee, fruit, yoghurt and cereal as I wanted staff came over to my table to take my breakfast order only when I was ready. Breakfast was perfect and all for £8:99 can not be faulted. Thankyou.

A massive thank you to the manageress of this restaurant for looking after my daughter when she got stuck in the horrendous conditions last night when the m62 was closed. She made sure my daughter got a room at the premier inn for the night thank you so much.

My wife and I have been very regular customers over many years. Our last visit was a disaster.

Poor service, poor food and a Choir of F### this and f## that from a horde of "travelers". Whilst a young member of staff attempt to quieten them the management were conspicuous by there absence. The replies from TableTable when I voiced my complaint have been totally inadequate. I quote.

Should you wish to be seated elsewhere please do not hesitate to speak with the team members who will try their best to accommodate you in another part of the restaurant. The management team at the restaurant will and do ask our guests to calm down should they be overly noisy or any other party in the restaurant.

In spite of losing several" tabletable" points I do not intend to take my wife or grandchildren again.

I took my mum for an early evening meal at 6.00pm. I didn't book because it was a Wednesday evening...big mistake! It was really busy and there were no tables available in the restaurant. We sat in the pub area and ordered our meals and drinks at the bar. Excellent choice of food. Great menu with reasonable prices. I had the lamb with red wine jus, minted potatoes and cauliflower cheese...it was gorgeous and I demolished it. Mum had the sirloin steak Diane with crispy fried onions and chips. She enjoyed it but she ordered medium rare and found difficulty in chewing it. I tried it and it was fine. If you only like your meat pink then order medium or medium to well done. As I said, it was busy. We ordered at 6.10pm and the food came at 7.05. A little late I think and when mum asked the waiter who brought the food for another drink he told us that we would have to order at the bar ourselves. However, he was polite and apologetic..so don't expect restaurant service when you're eating in the bar area. We will return but we will book the restaurant in future!

Have been visiting for the last couple of years now, & have never been disapointed, called last night for an anniversary offer, & couldn't fault anything, prompt service happy pleasant polite waitress, had the sirloin steak medium rare & was extremely good! Cooked exactly how I asked, very happy

Only called in for a pint and a bar snack with the wife. Had the pate and it was delicious but came on a massive plate which made it look quite meagre. One slice of toast cut into 4 wasn't enough but what do you expect when you go for pub grub. A little overpriced but on the whole I'm not gonna make a song and dance about it because we knew what to expect. It'll probably be a while before we return but return we will...if only for a drink.

We go here often as it's local. The bar service is always poor, waiting ages to be served even when it's quiet. Food quality can be ok for a pub but the place is desperate for a decent manager to get things organised. The toilets are mingin by the way - the smell hits you 10 yards before you get there!

Have been coming here every month for over a year and both families drive an hour to meet here. We've always been really happy with the service and the staff and the meals have been spot on. Today we came, and one food order went back as it was requested to be well done ( the same as every time we eat hear and it's always been perfect)

When it came out, not only was it still not well done, but we requested no mushrooms as a member of the party had an allergy, and it came with mushrooms. When we asked to see the manager, she came after 20 mins, and asked what we expected her to do. Not only was the food not delivered as we'd asked, but the attitude of the manager wasn't very good at all. We won't be returning

Food was poor , I had the Haddock & Chips , Haddock was fine but Chips where very bland & dry , my wife had the Turkey dinner Beans where hard Yorkshire Pudding had no taste ( her comments ) my grandson had the Merlot Pie and Mash again beans hard also Mash tasted like instant Mash, ( His words ) also the place is looking tired

Waited an hour and a half for our food . When it came it was auful . My husband ordered mixed grill with no onion rings . He got half a plate of peas 3 dried up pieces of meat and a giant pile of onion rings ..no chips no egg no sausage . All dried up as though it had been kept warm for ages.. only plus pint was that they didn't charge us for it.

Scant regard for customers- waiting at bar to be served - bar attendant acknowledges I’m waiting, continues activities for several more minutes, second customer appears at bar - bar attendant knocks on ‘back room’ to seek support. This only becomes an option when there are two people you can’t serve? Won’t be back!

I won't be coming back to this restaurant again. Went for a family meal, I ordered a mixed grill. The steak was freezing cold so I asked a member of staff to change it, she proceeded to pick the steak off my plate with her hands, clearly having no regard for hygiene. She then tells me she will get me another one. She brings over a new steak, which I will add was just as worse as the first one. I asked for it to be medium well, it comes on a small plate dripping in blood, still pretty much raw.



Safe to say, I didn't eat the rest of my meal. Absolutely shambolic.

I know these are mid range chain restaurants but god sake it was just awful, no staff so there was a forever wait for a table so decided to eat at a bar table, the line up at the bar was ten deep and only one person on the bar.



The fish was okay by the accompanying greens where just totally inedible, how they can live with this I don't know



People of Rochdale demand more from your local

Had a nacho starter not very good ...

Had a chicken salad ..the chicken was very rubbery and only about 4/5 pieces of chicken which I had to dig for as there was so much lettuce in the bowl and it was very bland ..needless to say I won't be going again and will not recommend this food establishment to any of my friends and family .. this establishment needs to provide fresh food not out of a packet or frozen ��

Ate here Bank Holiday - food was terrible- all frozen food heated up and aren't they a fan of the deep fat fryer! Asked for a salad was told not enough for a full salad. Ordered a steak which was tough and tasteless with frozen warmed up veg. When the waitress asked us how the food was and we said not so good she spoke for all to hear and was very persistent in asking us what was wrong rather than being subtle in her enquiries. Would definitely not recommend
