Wonderful New Years Eve lunch. 4 adults enjoyed different starters and main courses. Compliments from all. A fabulous menu, beautifully cooked meals, well presented dishes and delicious food.

We were passing and looked nice from the outside and read some of the reviews so came back for a tea time meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming and informed us they had only took over two months ago. There was a good menu choice and the food was delicious, well presented and plenty full as well as excellent value for money...we had the steak and ale pie and the 10oz sirloin. ..we definately will be returning and highly recommend this lovely pub.

We booked for a 40th, dropped decos off week before and Chris and Ali kindly put them up for our arrival, the cocktails were delicious, the food excellent, couldn't have asked for a better venue, excellent value for money.

We booked a party of 25 for Sunday lunch following our sons christening. Fantastic food (some gluten free) and service. Definitely recommend this place.

Since changing hands, the new owners have done themselves proud with the menu. Food is amazing! Starters were top class, best pub food we've enjoyed in ages! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! (Thanks for sorting the birthday cake out for us too!)

Our second visit to this lovely little pub. The food is excellent, beautifully presented by friendly staff and reasonably priced. I have always been praised for the fruit crumbles I make but the one from here is awesome! We will definitely be back for more!

Not only am I lucky enough to work here, the food is amazing. All home cooked and a great varied menu, the desserts are to die for too.

Just been in for a meal as a family with my partner and little boy, lovely food, good pint and really friendly service. Would highly recommend the trio of Lamb it was delicious we will be back again very soon

It is a lovely cozy friendly pub with the most amazing food. If we lived nearer than the 2 hours we have to travel we would certainly eat there more often. Had a great night on Saturday at the fundraiser for the village defibrillator. We will be back.

Had a lovely meal this evening here to end our amazing week in Cumbria. Food was delicious and the pub was so warm and friendly with lovely staff!!

Fantastic meal on Sunday evening! Best Sunday lunch I've ever had (apart from my mams! �). Great service, lovely menu choices and everyone really friendly. The only downside was wimping out on a starter as noone else wanted one! Will definitely be back soon.

Enjoyed a really excellent meal here this evening. Plenty of choice, a bit limited for vegetarians, but chose the Glamorgan sausages which were very tasty. Friendly, welcoming staff. We will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic food, the joiners arms is back on the map and in very good hands with Helen, Chris and Ali, everything we had was made fresh,

Gravy, yorkshires, roast potato's, beautifully cooked meat, fresh cookes veg, and all well presented. We could see what other people were eating too, and all looked fantastic, it is hard to believe the standard of the menu and food from this pub. Absolutely recommend!
