Many years ago I visited EVERY optician in Manchester, searching for the Holy Grail...a pair of glasses that would be impossibly light and comfortable, and virtually indestructible.... and that would enable me to see clearly, everything from close reading, to computer screens, to driving conditions and theatre shows! The lovely people at Jones & Co spent so much time with me, patiently showing me all the options, and advising me to try a Titanium frame with lightweight varifocal lenses. Eureka!! This was the end of my search. I'm not a follower of fashions, but I was quietly delighted to find that complete strangers now stop me to ask me where I bought my glasses, because they are so elegant, minimalist and discretely stylish. Visiting Jones & Co is like visiting old friends...there's always a personal welcome and the offer of a cup of tea!! Don't even think about going anywhere else!

Lost my precious specs on holiday and was heartbroken to find out that the style had been discontinued! Jones came to the rescue - sourced some frames directly from the French manufacturers and so I was able to have the same beloved glasses again. Brilliant service and would highly recommend �

I've reached that time in my life when I need varifocals and my current frames (also from Jones and Co) just weren't suitable. I explained my requirements and concerns about finding something that would still look good on my small face. I love the fact that staff at Jones and Co not only have time for their customers but also have the expertise to make sure customers leave with the frames that will work for them stylistically and also technically. It's such an enjoyable experience!

I've had awful experiences with glasses in the past - terrible quality, bad service and so on. I loved my experience with these guys - eagerly awaiting my appointment next week to pick up my new glasses, but the service here is unlike any high street opticians. It's a completely personal experience, not the standard sales technique you'll be used to.



My stylist Gareth pushed me to try different frames to suit my face shape that I would never have normally picked up - friendly, knowledgeable and professional, you can't fault the staff here and I absolutely loved the pair I went with. If you're looking for a high quality frame that's totally unique, you should definitely try this place. They are a little more on the expensive side it has to be said, but what you get is worth the price tag - I'll certainly be back!

I was sceptical at the idea of a styling optician, but having had so many pairs of mediocre glasses over the years, and despairing at the lack of choice for medium/high prescription lenses on the high street, I thought I'd give them a go. So pleased I did! Great experience, top notch service and so many lovely and unusual designs to choose from. Nick helped me to find a pair that could have been designed exactly for my face. I feel good about wearing glasses for the first time ever.

Having a tricky prescription doesn't mean the choice of glasses available is hindered at Jones and Co. They select their frames with a nod to style but also think about how complex prescriptions such as mine could work. The staff are super knowledgable, honest and helpful. Highly recommended!

Been a customer of Jones & Co for a few years now - three different set of frames in as many years, in fact.

Each time the folk there have been exceptional. Given me honest, straight-forward advice, listened to what I was looking for, presented great options time and time again.

Every visit I've left with something I love, and which I often get compliments on. They've even been kind enough to treat me with a glasses wardrobe which I use to display my frames even when I'm not using them.

Fantastic company, great selection, and can't wait to go back!
