A very special bangle This textured silver cuff bangle commission is on its way to a much-loved grandaughter, and will then be engraved with a special message inside. It is such a pleasure to make jewellery which is then passed on to be worn and (hopefully!) enjoyed.

Silver coil pendant as smooth as silk I've just finished this silver coil pendant commission with a satin lustre. The design was inspired by a ring made for my client by her late husband. It's beautifully tactile, and the coils catch the light with each movement.

Gold and silver cuff bangles for Spring Just finished these silver cuff bangles flecked with 24ct gold leaf - they're in The Little Bird Gallery in Wendover, so do go and have a look!

Gold blue and silver I'm always interested in setting stones in pendants in slightly unexpected positions, really pleased with the way this silver pendant with gold flecks turned out with a beautiful blue kyanite stone at the bottom.

A Christmas amethyst pendant One of the greatest pleasures of designing and making jewellery is to be able to make gifts for friends, in this case for Carolyn. This silver pendant set with a light lilac amethyst was under her tree on Christmas morning.....

I've been commissioned to make another convex/concave pendant with gold ball detailing for one of my lovely customers - I'm really looking forward to seeing her wearing it when we next meet!

Earrings with gold ball detail Just finished making these delicate earrings for Alison, to match the pendant she commissioned from me in January. So pleased to be able to make these for her!

Lapis ring and pendant -wear the blues away! It's been a while since my last post (life and travelling getting in the way but all good!). I've finished setting the gorgeous lapis stones I discovered in Iran (see my December post) the result is this pendant and 'dress' ring, just the answer to the winter blues.

Gold, silver and a little garnet I'm adding to my designs using keum-boo to add gold foil to silver - first off is this curved pendant with a rich red garnet set on the end, with matching earrings.

Lovely pendant commission I've recently finished one of my signature oval pendants as a commission for my friend Alison, and hallmarked with my personal hallmark. So pleased to be able to make such a lovely design for her!

Gold and silver contrasts I've been trying out applying delicate pieces of gold foil to silver to contrast in the design. This is known as 'keum-boo' and originates from Korea, where 24 carat gold was used historically to decorate gold and silver vessels. On these satin-brushed silver earrings I've applied the gold to the texture to contrast - more gold and silver designs are on their way!

Milky Chinese jade and copper necklace This amber-coloured Chinese jade 'donut' was a real find and I've made it into a pendant with a burnished copper bail. I love the way the light picks up the natural lustre of the surface of the jade.
