Karate Mawdesley Description
We are Dedicated to the coaching of Applied Karate techniques and complimentary disciplines, such as Torite Jutsu, Kali, Jeet Kun Do and Jun Fan Gung Fu.
Our Goal is to deliver effective Self Protection Training for all our students and staff, we do this whilst continuing to enhance and develop our Training Methods and Techniques for this purpose we are closely linked with the highly acclaimed British Combat Association.
The KJA is an independent Association, its only control over its member clubs is via knowledge transfer and best practices, our constitution is such that we dont profit from our activity and all contributions are invested back into the association to grow its member base and skill set.

Tom started Karate with us 25 years ago and was a regular and very popular student until he went backpacking to Australia and met his now wife Kellie. One of the most forward thinking Academies in Europe. Employing advanced techniques and teaching them as basics to all students irregardless of grade or title. This makes for a broader understanding of the concepts held within the martial arts at a much earlier stage than would be ordinarily experienced. The level and standard that can be attained is, then, higher than you would expect to achieve. This can occur from a single training experience!
