Visited over the weekend to look at Kevlar Ladies Leggings. Was very pleased with the female staff members advise on fit which included some very important safety info. No hard sell and offered to order the correct size for me. Well impressed. I'll be back :-)

Traded in my bike for a used Multistrada. There was an issue with ABS when it was getting prepped. Took a while to fix but they were determined to make sure it was right before I got it. Delivered to Glasgow for free. Had it a day only to discover a couple of unforeseen faults. They gave me my choice of their demonstrators while mine was back in. Delivered back to Glasgow when it suited me again. A lot of places wouldn’t have given a monkey’s once the sale had been made but they were spot on. Highly recommended.



Edit: decided a Multistrada wasn’t for me. Have gone for a Tracer which is what I had as a courtesy bike. Changeover could not have been easier and the bike is fantastic. Doubt I’ll use a different dealer in the future.

Just bought a Yamaha tdm 900 ,the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful the bike itself was as described and delivered when they said it would be .cheers guys

I sent them a message last night they sent a reply instantly and gave me a positive answer! Whoever spoke to me over messages was highly friendly and said someone would ring me today which they did and we spoke about scooters. I told the person I would not be over for a few weeks well that's changed I will be in tomorrow morning to look at the bikes :)



Overall without even going near the store I can tell the customer service and care is awesome!!!

Great place to have worked. I’ve also bought a bike privately there too and the prep and aftercare has been great. All the team are passionate and work very hard but try to maintain a family feel. I’ll be calling in regularly for a brew (and another bike?) The future is bright for the site, long may it continue. �����

Literally couldn't do enough for me and even loaded the bike onto the van as I bottled it lol.

Excellent customer service in both sales and after sales. had an issue with my bike 3 days before leaving for a trip to the TT. It occurred on a Sunday the following day was a bank holiday and I was due to leave Tuesday I didn’t think there was any chance of getting it sorted In time but I spoke to Andrew on the Sunday afternoon, bike was dropped off on the bank holiday Monday, they managed to source the parts and get the bike sorted ready to go by Tuesday afternoon. 5* service and I would 100% recommend.

Can't praise them enough. I didn't get there till 3.30, and it was almost closing time when I left. Never felt rushed, or pushed out the door. Drank them dry of tea �.



Andy Whale was so nice and friendly as where everyone else I met, couldn't do enough for me. Would highly recommend this company to anyone, they've always got time to give and are happy to help where they can. Awesome experience. ����.

As a fellow motor trader i understand the struggle and effort it takes to uphold a decent reputation, as in this day and age we seem to expect outstanding service and pounce at the opportunity to complain when things don't quite go to plan. I myself set the bar quite high as you should never suffer from bad service. Speaking from experience in this line of work you are constantly swimming against the tide to keep your customers happy and the deadlines met. The level of service i have received at KD Motorcycles in the last few weeks has been outstanding from the minute i made the phonecall to the day i rode away i felt i was in good hands, never pressured or left in the dark. What an excellent buying experience, I most certainly will be back. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Thanks guys! Top Job! �

A great motorcycle buying experience everything ready for the pick up left my old bike with a lump in my throat but the new Tracer is superb and had a good long run to home just need a gel seat after being soft with the pan. Thank you all at KD

The initial contact with KD Motorcycle’s was good, I submitted the details of my part exchange via the Auto Trader website, and they called me back within a few hours with a part exchange value.

I then followed up with a phone call to discuss the offer and we came to a verbal agreement along with delivery costs. I asked for the bike to be delivered as the dealership was a considerable distance from my home address.

I emailed KD Motorcycles the day after the deposit had been taken with a few questions. The questions were in regard to HPI Clear report and Datatag. The response was very prompt the following day, with the exact response being:

Yes, HPI clear.

DATATAG already on.



I took this to mean exactly that. All seemed good, the delivery date was set which was 11 days after initial deposit taken.

The bike was delivered on the date agreed. I then noticed that there was no HPI Clear Report, and the spare key was missing. I contacted KD Motorcycle’s and the spare key was sorted out after several emails and calls, with the spare key being received 7 days after the bike had been delivered.



The HPI clear report however was a different matter, numerous emails and phone calls resulted in me being told the delay was due to staff holidays and administration. I was finally informed 6 days after delivery of the bike, that the bike had finance on it and that KD Motorcycles had settled the finance still owing but HPI can take a while to report it clear.

I contacted HPI myself and they informed me that the maximum time taken for clearance is 72 hours.



A number of further emails and calls with the Dealer Principal, resulted in me being informed that it was not due to staff holidays or administration. It was in fact due to the previous owner needing to provide finance details for KD Motorcycles to clear the finance on the vehicle.

I was informed by the Dealer Principal over the phone that its normal to sell a bike with finance still owing on it. However, looking at the HPI website they appear to have a different view on this…



I received a copy of an email from the finance company to KD Motorcycle’s, advising that they had received the cheque from KD Motorcycles this being 12 days after the bike was delivered to me.

I finally received the HPI clear report 19 days after the bike was delivered. Although it was eventually sorted, it caused stress and worry around the legal ownership of the bike. Not something you expect when purchasing from a dealership, and certainly never experienced this before when purchasing from dealerships.



The bike was not as clean as the bike I part exchanged. I was surprised I had to clean the bike when it arrived, the radiator and the back of instrument cluster had not been cleaned. The rear of the bike was dirty, I expected better presentation of the bike considering the amount being spent on the bike.

The bike runs well, with no mechanical or warranty issues so far. I have only managed 4 rides out on it due to the great British weather, but am pleased with the bike itself.



I hope this review helps potential buyers not only of KD Motorcycle’s, but any dealership especially if you are buying at distance with the bike being delivered.



Would I buy from KD Motorcycles again – No.

Would I buy from a dealership at distance – Maybe but with a lot more insight now.

For the second time I must express the poor customer service .It's dating back ten years or more .I booked my Tracer 700 in for a service..I also emailed sales to book a test ride while my bike was having the service carried out. We had a chat about the Tracer 900 and what a good deal it was. But when it turned out that I wasn't ready to change just yet,I was told that I Could not test ride the bike,because it would have to be cleaned again. I ask another guy in the office about riding any bike to get me home ,nothing offered. So for 2 1/2 hours I sat in the shop and had a rainy walk.

I also have Ducati and BMW motorcycles.

Ducati Leeds bend over backwards to let me test ride any bike I wish. Just ask for Simon

Alan Jefferies also do the same because that how they make the sales. Ask for Paul.

Will I buy from KD motorcycles again. We know the answer will be never.

When I need to call back for my Warranty work. I will wear my Kangol Kestrel helmet. Wax cotton jacket and of course my Derry boots.

The one positive note is the fella in service is a star, thanks for conversation and screen.

The initial contact with KD Motorcycle’s was good, I submitted the details of my part exchange via the Auto Trader website, and they called me back within a few hours with a part exchange value.

I then followed up with a phone call to discuss the offer and we came to a verbal agreement along with delivery costs. I asked for the bike to be delivered as the dealership was a considerable distance from my home address.

I emailed KD Motorcycles the day after the deposit had been taken with a few questions. The questions were in regard to HPI Clear report and Datatag. The response was very prompt the following day, with the exact response being:

Yes, HPI clear.

DATATAG already on.



I took this to mean exactly that. All seemed good, the delivery date was set which was 11 days after initial deposit taken.

The bike was delivered on the date agreed. I then noticed that there was no HPI Clear Report, and the spare key was missing. I contacted KD Motorcycle’s and the spare key was sorted out after several emails and calls, with the spare key being received 7 days after the bike had been delivered.



The HPI clear report however was a different matter, numerous emails and phone calls resulted in me being told the delay was due to staff holidays and administration. I was finally informed 6 days after delivery of the bike, that the bike had finance on it and that KD Motorcycles had settled the finance still owing but HPI can take a while to report it clear.

I contacted HPI myself and they informed me that the maximum time taken for clearance is 72 hours.



A number of further emails and calls with the Dealer Principal, resulted in me being informed that it was not due to staff holidays or administration. It was in fact due to the previous owner needing to provide finance details for KD Motorcycles to clear the finance on the vehicle.

I was informed by the Dealer Principal over the phone that its normal to sell a bike with finance still owing on it. However, looking at the HPI website they appear to have a different view on this…



I received a copy of an email from the finance company to KD Motorcycle’s, advising that they had received the cheque from KD Motorcycles this being 12 days after the bike was delivered to me.

I finally received the HPI clear report 19 days after the bike was delivered. Although it was eventually sorted, it caused stress and worry around the legal ownership of the bike. Not something you expect when purchasing from a dealership, and certainly never experienced this before when purchasing from dealerships.



The bike was not as clean as the bike I part exchanged. I was surprised I had to clean the bike when it arrived, the radiator and the back of instrument cluster had not been cleaned. The rear of the bike was dirty, I expected better presentation of the bike considering the amount being spent on the bike.

The bike runs well, with no mechanical or warranty issues so far. I have only managed 4 rides out on it due to the great British weather, but am pleased with the bike itself.



I hope this review helps potential buyers not only of KD Motorcycle’s, but any dealership especially if you are buying at distance with the bike being delivered.



Would I buy from KD Motorcycles again – No.

Would I buy from a dealership at distance – Maybe but with a lot more insight now.

For the second time I must express the poor customer service .It's dating back ten years or more .I booked my Tracer 700 in for a service..I also emailed sales to book a test ride while my bike was having the service carried out. We had a chat about the Tracer 900 and what a good deal it was. But when it turned out that I wasn't ready to change just yet,I was told that I Could not test ride the bike,because it would have to be cleaned again. I ask another guy in the office about riding any bike to get me home ,nothing offered. So for 2 1/2 hours I sat in the shop and had a rainy walk.

I also have Ducati and BMW motorcycles.

Ducati Leeds bend over backwards to let me test ride any bike I wish. Just ask for Simon

Alan Jefferies also do the same because that how they make the sales. Ask for Paul.

Will I buy from KD motorcycles again. We know the answer will be never.

When I need to call back for my Warranty work. I will wear my Kangol Kestrel helmet. Wax cotton jacket and of course my Derry boots.

The one positive note is the fella in service is a star, thanks for conversation and screen.

Visited over the weekend to look at Kevlar Ladies Leggings. Was very pleased with the female staff members advise on fit which included some very important safety info. No hard sell and offered to order the correct size for me. Well impressed. I'll be back :-)

Traded in my bike for a used Multistrada. There was an issue with ABS when it was getting prepped. Took a while to fix but they were determined to make sure it was right before I got it. Delivered to Glasgow for free. Had it a day only to discover a couple of unforeseen faults. They gave me my choice of their demonstrators while mine was back in. Delivered back to Glasgow when it suited me again. A lot of places wouldn’t have given a monkey’s once the sale had been made but they were spot on. Highly recommended.



Edit: decided a Multistrada wasn’t for me. Have gone for a Tracer which is what I had as a courtesy bike. Changeover could not have been easier and the bike is fantastic. Doubt I’ll use a different dealer in the future.

Just bought a Yamaha tdm 900 ,the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful the bike itself was as described and delivered when they said it would be .cheers guys

I sent them a message last night they sent a reply instantly and gave me a positive answer! Whoever spoke to me over messages was highly friendly and said someone would ring me today which they did and we spoke about scooters. I told the person I would not be over for a few weeks well that's changed I will be in tomorrow morning to look at the bikes :)



Overall without even going near the store I can tell the customer service and care is awesome!!!

Great place to have worked. I’ve also bought a bike privately there too and the prep and aftercare has been great. All the team are passionate and work very hard but try to maintain a family feel. I’ll be calling in regularly for a brew (and another bike?) The future is bright for the site, long may it continue. �����

Excellent customer service in both sales and after sales. had an issue with my bike 3 days before leaving for a trip to the TT. It occurred on a Sunday the following day was a bank holiday and I was due to leave Tuesday I didn’t think there was any chance of getting it sorted In time but I spoke to Andrew on the Sunday afternoon, bike was dropped off on the bank holiday Monday, they managed to source the parts and get the bike sorted ready to go by Tuesday afternoon. 5* service and I would 100% recommend.

As a fellow motor trader i understand the struggle and effort it takes to uphold a decent reputation, as in this day and age we seem to expect outstanding service and pounce at the opportunity to complain when things don't quite go to plan. I myself set the bar quite high as you should never suffer from bad service. Speaking from experience in this line of work you are constantly swimming against the tide to keep your customers happy and the deadlines met. The level of service i have received at KD Motorcycles in the last few weeks has been outstanding from the minute i made the phonecall to the day i rode away i felt i was in good hands, never pressured or left in the dark.
