Corporate giant killers Monsta Pizza return to the K&Q for a weekend residency this weekend. Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime. Come and enjoy one of their great pizzas and revel in a rare moment justice for the good guys..

This Saturday at the K&Q, the return of the fabulous SingSong Club. 3 great live musicians play classic songs. The words are projected and everyone (that wants to) sings along. You’re invited to bring along small acoustic instruments (tambourine, ukulele etc.). It’ll be tremendous fun. To top it all off Monsta Pizza will be guesting in the car park from 5pm.

Our kitchen will be closed from Thursday 31st January until Monday 11th February. Reopening as normal on Tuesday 12th February.

The King & Queen will be closed all-day on Monday 28th January for kitchen maintenance. Open as normal from Tuesday 29th.

Not Strictly Burns’ Night - Friday 25th Jan. at the K&Q. Come along and recite a Burns poem or one of your own. A panel of three “expert” judges will comment and award prizes in both categories. A lot of fun and non too reverential! Burns Night menu only - booking advisable! Food from 6.30. Poetry from 8pm

We love Pete and Shelley's family pub with music in Wendover.

Visited this lovely establishment yesterday and previously within the last month . This was my fathers local pub many years ago when he lived in wendover . My dad Glyn enjoyed his couple of pints and the lovely food that was served to us . The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcomed

Very well run pub with good real ale and locals

The King and a Queen has been our regular in Wendover for a few years now, and the range of craft ales and ciders (and a wide range of guns and cocktails), compliment the excellent freshly produced food. The owners are extremely welcoming and even when busy, (like yesterday lunchtime), they set aside tables for us knowing we’d be coming in. Now that is great service!

Sunday roast was probably ' the best in the world' if not certainly second. Great real ale followed by live football. Perfect Sunday.

Great date night! Fabulous cosmopolitan cocktail followed by delicious meat and cheese platter, rounded off with more drinks accompanied by THE most excellent musical entertainment: Tom Cary doing swing.

A truly welcoming pub. Great selection of real ales, which are frequently changed for new varieties. The food is great, the landlord and lady (plus staff) go out of their way to make you feel at home. Not many pubs this good around anymore, mores the pity.

A small but very friendly pub at the approach to Wendover from the A413.

Sunday lunchtime saw glorious sunshine, a band playing in the Beer Garden and excellent BBQ.

There appeared to be great selection of regular and guest brews on offer.

It has changed hands recently and the new management and doing a wonderful job.

Highly recommended.

A real pub, very warm and friendly: primarily wet trade (but food available), great real beers and ciders, roaring fire and two separate bars. A real gem and back to its glory days. Great landlord and landlady too! A great British pub, a dying breed alas...

Cider Festival day 3 - i.e. the cider's were still on ( bar two from 12) but no food/music as on the Saturday and Sunday which is perfectly understandable. Decent selection with a wide range of styles and strengths. Sensibly priced at £3.33 per pint: purchase 12 tokens for £20, 2 tokens per pint.
