We held our daughter's 7th birthday party here today. The service we received was amazing, nothing was too much bother. The hostess was brilliant with the kids, sorry if she's got any bruises !. Thank you, please pass on my praise

It'll be my 8th year of joining this year & love it! Lost 6st 7lbs in this gym with very supporting staff. Now I maintain my weight by going daily. Love this gym. Never leaving xx

It is a very warm and friendly happy place. Everyone is really welcoming and very helpful. I use the gym which is brilliant and it haves brilliant air conditioning. I love doing my workouts their and I’m happy to call myself a member at Kingsway gym. Xxx

I want to give a big shout out today to Kingsway Leisure Centre for My son's birthday party back in July. The reason I'm doing it today (3 months later) is because one of the beautiful little boys that Luca went to Chesnut Lodge School Nursery with was turned away from a play place in Liverpool recently. Stephen has Down Syndrome you see and it was implied that the play place was not suitable for a child like him. Anyway, when we had Luca's party at KIngsway there was none of that. They accommodated all of Luca's Special Needs friends brilliantly and nothing was too much trouble for them at all. Credit where Credit is due! ��

Another fab spinning class tonight with Becky. I've been to a number of different gyms for spinning and this one is definitely the best! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to challenge and push themselves and see results. Always a smile on her face too, thanks Becky!

Always happy staff to greet you , clean changing areas . The only tiny thing is children jumping in at the shallow end , I did have a word with dad who was encouraging his son as a lot of small children at that end

After paying my first visit since the refurb, I have to admit the new Gym is spot on. Will deffo be making the switch from Runcorn as the facilities are so much better, pool is warmer and has the added bonus of Steam Room and Sauna.

Really enjoy my swim here - I`ve been coming here for years and then stopped for a while but am back on it now! One complaint is that we can`t enjoy a shower at the end of the session as the water is far too hot, nearly scalded my head the other week. We mentioned it as we were leaving to the staff, who said it is being dealt with but three weeks later and it is still so hot - certainly children couldn`t use them I`m sure

I played squash yesterday and both courts door handles are faulty and dangerous in play as the doors are prone to opening. I have reported this before and no action is taken. I reported it yesterday again so please fix it !! Also the court is dirty and one court has hardened chewing gum on it.

Deeply disappointed with Kingsway, I joined to go to several classes a week but because of cancellations one manage one a week not really good enough when your paying a monthly fee.

Secong time in two weeks ive turned up to go swimming before work and the pool is closed! The first time due to staff sickness and today because they couldn't get the pool cover off. When I asked why wasn't it put on their website or Facebook page to let people know the lady told me its because the pages are updated by someone in the council and they dont start until 9. I understand things can happen unexpectedly but surely someone opening the building should have access to do this.

Receptionist actively encouraged us to attend drop in trampoline session with our 4 year old this Saturday only for us to turn up and be told that's been cancelled! Website wasn't updated to reflect this change - wasted trip and upset little boy!!

Please could you find a way to avoid cancelling children's gymnastics sessions on Saturdays when the hall is hired out for other events? We have paid by monthly direct debit for nearly six years and although we are credited for cancelled sessions, it is not very encouraging for children to have their regular weekly lessons cancelled when the hall is booked out to someone else.



So much for promoting Active Halton and battling childhood obesity....come on Kingsway, we really need a better service for our children please.

My kids did swimming lessons here but I’ve switched them to another venue as the teachers change every week in the pre-school level with no consistency. They made no effort to try and get my kids lessons at a similar time for me. The changing rooms are disgusting, particularly the family changing area. They are visibly dirty and in need of refurb. I also recently emailed the centre to ask if they do netball sessions, received an email saying the did, was told a time and cost. I turned up to be told that the session didn’t exist. Rubbish.

I attended the baby swim session which is a great idea and excellent value for money! The staff I met were extremely pleasant.



However, the swimming facilities need knocking down and re-building. The pool is very tired and the water is too cold for infants.



The changing rooms are terrible and smell of urine - it is not a pleasant environment to change babies/children in and indeed the adults.



Only a few lockers work in the family changing room and the hair dryers are archaic.

worst thing about this place is the staff and the lifeguards well id rather drown.

We where taking our kids to Kingsway for weeks i don't swim just trail round after my daughter who has idiopathic generalized epilepsy but the water is freezing & as ive fibromyalgia i feel the cold more so i started walking up & down the side of the pool (not hurting anyone) with her so she could swim in the deep end while my partner helped our 5yr old son who's learning to swim i did this for a few weeks with no complaints from anyone inc the 2 lifeguards that where on !! Even playing with a ball with her one time we where there!! The pool was virtually empty & there was nothing to say i couldn't be there , as her Mum i feel more comfortable sitting on the side of the pool instead of in the viewing gallery in case she has a seizure which can happen at any time without warning . But after weeks of doing the same this one week a complete jobs worth decided to stop me even though i explained my fears there was no real reason for her to do this ??? i wasn't in anyone's way & her attitude was awful!!! So me & my family now go elsewhere i will never go back to Kingsway which is a shame as my parents took myself & my brother there when we where little & i was enjoying taking my kids there but no more ...

So me & my family now go elsewhere i will never go back to Kingsway which is a shame as my parents took myself & my brother there when we where little & i was enjoying taking my kids there but no more ...
