We were married in this beautiful venue in 2015 and everything about it was perfect - gorgeous surroundings, flawless but unstuffy service and fabulous food. Then this week we attended the first of their 'Exquisite Evenings'. Food and service was second to none as usual - but what was really special was the rare opportunity to return to this incredible venue for a dinner when it is usually closed to the public. We will definitely be back at the next opportunity!

We held our wedding at Knowsley in December and could not have asked for a better day. The venue, food, rooms and especially the staff were amazing! They could not do enough for you and we must especially mention Matt, Lesley and Audrey who went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Our guests could not believe how amazing Knowsley and the team were. Thank you for making our wedding day so special.

We had an amazing family and friends wedding gathering of epic proportions at Knowsley Hall! From the drive up through the exquisitely manicured gardens, to checking into the beautifully preserved rooms with 'real' doorknobs and 'proper' roll top baths, it was all in all a breath taking and memorable event. I felt a lush comfort of Downton Abbey vs Hilton luxe. 'I'm in' lol �

We had a superb experience as guests at the recent wedding of Edward and Abbie.

We got married at Knowsley Hall on Thursday. The whole experience from our first visit to leaving as a married couple was just exceptional. We fell in love with the hall the first time we saw it and didn't need to look at another venue. Every member of staff went above and beyond and just couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The food was incredible! Knowsley Hall gave us the wedding that we couldn't have ever even dreamed of!

WOW! What a wedding venue this is! I visited Knowsley Hall on Saturday (12/08/17) to photograph Gertrude and James' wedding. Thanks so much to the friendly and amazing team and a big thanks to Audrey for making everything run like clockwork into the evening. With gorgeous rolling gardens and very well manicured flora, the grounds are simply majestic and a wedding photographers dream!



Really can not wait to return to this stunning wedding venue! Highly recommend!

We got married on Sunday 22/07/18 the best day of our lives! We could not have chosen such a beautiful venue with such wonderful staff organising it. Special thanks to Joanne who was delightful and at hand of every minute ensuring we were looked after and did not want for anything. Joanne you were fabulous and we will remember you forever - you made our day in every way from bringing us a glass of bubbles while getting our photos done (which was a great little touch and very appreciated to fixing my dress when I didn’t even realise it needed fixing. The attention to detail from you was perfect). Another star on the day was Audrey thank you so much for being such a professional director on the day with care and attention to us both and our guest in such a subtle but engaging manner. The only place to get married in stunning location but its the staff that make it so extra special xx we got married 28th Nov 2017 and from the first moment we went to one of their wedding fayres to the day we got married we were made to feel so special. On the 29th March 2018 myself and my husband got married at Knowsley hall. I cannot thank all the staff enough, I can’t really express into words how fantastic everyone one was in making our special day so truly amazing. I would particularly like to thank Wayne nothing was ever to much trouble and the whole day wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without him, I also would like to mention Adam who really looked after the top table, thank you Adam!! All our guests commented on how the food they had was the best wedding food they had ever eaten in particular the beef so thank you to all the kitchen staff for preparing such beautiful food. We will always have such fond memories of our big day at Knowsley Hall and I can honestly say that their isn’t one thing that we could fault. It was absolutely perfect!! So thank you everyone at Knowsley Hall for such a wonderful day we are very grateful for all you did for us.

My wedding was planned over 2.5 years, due to a long engagement (I would recommend as it’s less stressful).

We looked for wedding receptions for at least 12 months, and each one was nice, but they didn’t have the special wow factor we were looking for.

But, then a friend recommended Knowsley Hall and we went to an open evening, from the moment we swung onto the road leading up to the hall and took in the magnificent profile, I leaned over to my then-fiancé and said “this one is perfect, whatever it takes I want this one.”

On the 5th May 2018, my husband and I had our reception at Knowsley Hall and it was breathtaking.

All our guests took a sharp intake of breath as we drove up the gravel road to a red carpet and a champagne reception.

Due to the weather being incredibly amazing we were led out onto the terrace, the sun was shining, the table holding the reception drinks was in the centre with a black velvet cloth and the gold Knowsley crest looked phenomenal, we hired a pianist who played beautiful music and everyone milled about enjoying the sunshine, the atmosphere, the drinks and a fabulous canapés. It was such a highlight.

Moving to the meal, the food was amazing, and the service fantastic. I did have one criticism, which was the room was baking hot, due to the weather and despite the staff having every single fan on full blast, it was still a touch uncomfortable - I would suggest getting more effective fans to ensure guests are kept cool.

However, it was a minor issue, and as amazing as Knowsley Hall is - it cannot control the weather �

The evening buffet was completely amazing and none of my guests went away hungry!

The bridal suite (Lord Derby’s bedroom) is unbelievable and views from both the bedroom and bathroom were outstanding!

I also want to highlight how extremely helpful the staff were before and after the wedding with dropping off and picking up stuff.

The day after the wedding myself and my new husband went for a walk in the grounds and it was absolutely a perfect way to end our time at Knowsley.

I want to say a extra special thank you to the most helpful member of staff at Knowsley Hall - Audrey. She was an absolute superstar, so helpful and accommodating! She is the loveliest person and completely amazing �

Me and my Husband got married here on Friday 30th March and the grounds, the building, the staff, the food and wine was without fail exceptional. We received so many amazing comments about how beautiful and perfect the venue was, we are still finding out the little ways the staff had used there initiative and experience to keep everything running smoothly and provided 5* service to everyone. Thank you so much for making our day!

It's now one week exactly since our beautiful wedding at Knowsley Hall and I think we are still recovering! My husband and I (!) would like to say a sincere thankyou to Matt, Lesley and all the staff at Knowsley. All the team are extremely dedicated, professional, enthusiastic, thoughtful and caring (even in the face of a drama!). No-one ever forgets their wedding day but we have some extra-special reasons to remember ours. Knowsley Hall is a very special and beautiful place and since we first came to look around I was completely enchanted by it and couldn’t imagine finding anywhere more perfect. Needless to say we called off our search and booked our wedding right on the spot. The whole place just seems to be soaked in beauty.

My favourite memory is watching my little girl run around the lawn in her blush-pink dress, she looked like a little fairy princess! Another great moment was walking into the dining room, seeing the candles twinkling and the tables heaving with fragrant flowers and sparkling glassware. I felt as if we had gone back in time a couple of hundred years, but then that is why I fell in love with Knowsley, because it is so real and you can feel the history of the place all around you!

The one and only downside is that, unlike friends who married in other places, we can’t go back on our anniversary for afternoon tea or a spa day, but then again, this just makes Knowsley all the more special, and I’ll always remember it as if it was a beautiful dream!

So a week on, I have gone from drinking champagne in the stucco ballroom to drinking Pinot Grigio on my sofa at home, but I will always remember you and be very thankful to you.

I planned my wedding in 3 months… yes, 3 months and I lived to tell the tale. Not only that, but I have the most wonderful memories of our perfect day thanks in no small part to the exceptional staff at Knowsley Hall. Between Vanessa, Jason, Matt and Audrey, a bride literally has nothing to worry about. Each member of staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate from beginning to end.

Due to the short turn around for my wedding, there were a number of things that I had inevitably forgotten about or didn’t have time to get to… but not to worry, the Knowsley team was always there to the rescue. The staff at Knowsley is the icing on top of the already exquisite cake at Knowsley Hall (seriously, their cake is amazing too!). They make the lead up to the wedding a breeze, and the wedding itself an absolute dream come true!

The venue itself is nothing short of remarkable. As a lover of all things artsy and cultural, Knowsley ticked every box. Each room is a feast for the eyes, featuring old masterpieces, sumptuous surroundings and secret passageways (yes!). I knew that I wanted a location that would give my out of town guests an amazing experience and they were awe-struck by Knowsley! It’s rare to find an entire estate that is as immaculately cared for as Knowsley. The level of care and service is exceptional, and I cannot thank everyone at Knowsley enough for making my dream wedding a reality.

Ladies & Gents, honestly, if the date is open, and the budget is there, run… don’t walk to Knowsley Hall!

I don't even think 5 stars is enough! We got married here on Saturday (19th August) and from start to finish it was the perfect day! The hall and the grounds are stunning one of the nicest places I've ever been to! However what really made it is the effort of every staff member. Nothing was too much and everything we asked for was done with a smile! The whole team is amazing but a special thanks to Wayne, Jason, Audrey and Linda! The run up to our day Lesley helped make sure everything was organised and on the day everything was perfect. I could not recommend Knowsley Hall enough. I planned my wedding in 3 months… yes, 3 months and I lived to tell the tale. Not only that, but I have the most wonderful memories of our perfect day thanks in no small part to the exceptional staff at Knowsley Hall. Between Vanessa, Jason, Matt and Audrey, a bride literally has nothing to worry about. Each member of staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate from beginning to end.

Due to the short turn around for my wedding, there were a number of things that I had inevitably forgotten about or didn’t have time to get to… but not to worry, the Knowsley team was always there to the rescue. The staff at Knowsley is the icing on top of the already exquisite cake at Knowsley Hall (seriously, their cake is amazing too!). They make the lead up to the wedding a breeze, and the wedding itself an absolute dream come true!

The venue itself is nothing short of remarkable. As a lover of all things artsy and cultural, Knowsley ticked every box. Each room is a feast for the eyes, featuring old masterpieces, sumptuous surroundings and secret passageways (yes!). I knew that I wanted a location that would give my out of town guests an amazing experience and they were awe-struck by Knowsley! It’s rare to find an entire estate that is as immaculately cared for as Knowsley. The level of care and service is exceptional, and I cannot thank everyone at Knowsley enough for making my dream wedding a reality.

Ladies & Gents, honestly, if the date is open, and the budget is there, run… don’t walk to Knowsley Hall!

I don't even think 5 stars is enough! We got married here on Saturday (19th August) and from start to finish it was the perfect day! The hall and the grounds are stunning one of the nicest places I've ever been to! However what really made it is the effort of every staff member. Nothing was too much and everything we asked for was done with a smile! The whole team is amazing but a special thanks to Wayne, Jason, Audrey and Linda! The run up to our day Lesley helped make sure everything was organised and on the day everything was perfect. I could not recommend Knowsley Hall enough. All of my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Thank you so so much!

Held our wedding here on Fri 8th September 2017. The staff at Knowsley were helpful and professional from day one. They were always on hand and Lesley was quick to respond to any questions I had. I cannot thank the events team and staff enough for making our day run so smoothly. I was completely relaxed and enjoyed every moment of my big day thanks to Matthew and his team. It was everything we imagined and more. Our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how amazing the food was. Thank you for making our day perfect. I would highly recommend Knowsley Hall.

Gwen and I had our wedding here 28/11/2017 and we can truely say it was the most fantastic exquisite day of our lives. From start to finish the staff and theìr impeccable organisation, was amazing. From the time we walked in on our first wedding fayre to the day of our actual wedding we were made to feel their sole focus and so extra special. Nothing was too much trouble, even on the day when things had to change alittle they just took it in their stride. We just sailed through our day beautifully. We cant thank them enough for a fabulous day that will be etched into our memories forever. There are too many staff to mention but Wayne Parker event manager was absolutely brilliant and his team are an absolute credit to him. If anyone reading this is thinking of getting married this is the place to do it. Don't bother looking any where else. Worth every single penny and more..
