visited on 19th June, great value for what you get to see, the safari drive was amazing, so close to the animals... loved the meerkats and giraffe's on the foot safari.. The Amur tiger trail, looked incredible, although the tigers were having a nap.. Was great to see all the animals in near perfect natural habitat.

Will visit again..

User

come here every year and yest was probably one of my best .. guy named jason the ranger for the rhinos got out of his truck and was calling the baby rhino over and stroking him WOW made my day watching such a gorgeous moment .. when jason drove off we stopped him to ask him a few questions and he was more than willing to answer them lovely guy so are the rest of your team keep up the good work x

User

What a great place. Offers way more than I thought it would. Had wrongly thought it was car safari only. The 'on foot' offer is a day out in itself. Giraffes, tigers, wolves, birds or prey, wild boar, tapir, meerkats, tortoise and a few more that I can't remember the names of! Sea lion show and indoor bird displays were great. Playparks lovely and the nature trail was a lovely break for natural shade. We only went on a couple of rides as we ran out of time, but if we went back the wristbands would be great. Little train ride through the deer park was lovely. Was quiet as we went on an inset day, would definitely return on a similar day. Can't vouch for what it would be like at weekends or holidays. We went with a 2 and 5 year old and there was more than enough to keep them both happy x

User

We just love the Safari park, we have had a membership for 7 years. We have always been a fan the park is developing in such a grand scale . The tiger foot Safari is amazing and we are so excited for the return of the elephants 🐘

User

Very good place to visit 😊 and the salad bowl 🍲 was epic kitchen staff very friendly when my little boy dropped his slush outside the chef offered to replace it but I managed to salvage it with a new cup 👍🏻 Great day out

User

Took my daughter on 5th July, it was a fairly quiet day. My car is a soft top so we can't go through the lions. We were about to go past the lions when I was stopped by one of the staff and asked if we would like to go through and see the lions, which I said we would love to. So the chap said if you park your car one of the staff will take you through in one of their vehicles.

It was very much apreatieated.

Thank you.

User

I was bought a Giraffe experience for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The lady who did it was called Laura and she was amazing - extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She really made the experience great. I have loved Giraffes since I was a child and to get to feed them was a dream come true! The rest of the animals were great and we had a lovely day.

I wold recommend the experiences even though they are a bit pricey - if you get LAURA you will have a great time.

User

I have just finished my experience with various keepers and what an experience.

In particular I would like to thank James and Heather for making my experience a moment of a lifetime with those beautiful lions.

I will paint a picture and send it to you guys as promised. Hope to see you around the park soon. Thanks again Carol. X

User

Had the best full day out ( 10 til 5.30 ) with grandchildren.(6,8&10 yr olds) Started with Baboon bus well worth money as could see lots more and guide very informative . Brilliant displays,Birds ,sea lions ect .Then was lucky to see the tigers close up behind the glass, frolicking in water-very SPECIAL !!! Yes the cost of fairground rides puts an extra strain to day but as I got good reduction buying on line it paid for £10 all day wristband which the children well got their moneys worth . Didn't manage to fit in talks but deffo go back as this was our first time there. Highly recommend it ,cheaper than Chester Zoo and more fun for Kids.

User

Had a lovely day out here during the holidays. It was a very hot day so unfortunately the main animals like the lions and tigers were shading themselves so didn’t really see them. Love the new tiger area though.

Special thanks to the lady in the Bat area. My little girl spent ages in there asking so many questions. I hated it but the lady even let me watch from outside whilst she walked around with my girl. Wish I had got her name but I was terrified lol.

Not all the activities open but still an enjoyable day out.

User

Great place. The animals have plenty of space and seem happy and well cared for. They staff are helpful, friendly and very approachable. The park is expanding with more and more exhibits which is great but it means you'll probably need more than one day to do everything. My only small criticism is the food in the restaurant isn't that impressive and the vegetarian/vegan options are extremely limited. So maybe that's something that could be improved upon. But other than that it's one of my favourite places to have a day out for the whole family.

User

Great family day out. We arrived in the early afternoon and seemed like there was not enough time to see everything. Will be back that's for sure! We all loved the driving bit and did it twice without any damage to our car The boys loved all the animals as they were coming pretty close. Monkeys were the best with one picnicking on our car There was plenty to do and see in the "walking" part of the park too. I don't usually write reviews, unless it's a complaint. The main reason for this one is to say that the staff was amazing. Everyone I came across was very helpful, always smiling and nothing was to much of a bother. Thank you

User

Fantastic, so much to see and do. The white rhinos had a calf so cute, also black rhinos. So nice to see endangered animals surviving in cohabitation. The park was huge and offered insights into the lives of the animals. The kids loved the wood trail where you had to answer the clues along the route. So much to mention. Would definitely visit again

User

Fabulous day out with our three year old grandson yesterday. Lots to see and do and will probably take him back in order to see everything. He loved the drive through Safari, particularly the area with the monkeys who tried their best to dismantle my wife’s car before our eyes😄. Heed the warnings about the monkeys, they will attack vulnerable bits on your car and know exactly what they are doing including anchoring themselves to the car when you try to get them off!!

User

nice little place really love the fact that an adult can go on with a paying child saved me a fortune lol bat cave was amazing aswell as the bird of prey show/talk

User

We went for my daughters 3rd birthday - she loved the whole idea of it and it was nice and warm- all in all we had a good day- we was disappointed with the lion bit as tried to go round 3 times throughout the day and only one was asleep far in the distance- but the monkeys were entertaining! We enjoyed the rides but didn’t try the walk round zoo as we ran out of time

User

We visited Knowsley and had a great day. The safari drive was great you could stop for as long as you wanted and where you wanted to see the animals, it is a shame you can't feed the animals as you can at other parks but it was still great.

The new enclosure for the tiger is good and interactive just a shame the tiger was asleep when we got to see him! The sealion show was brilliant too.

My grandson had great fun on the rides and as it was during the week there were no ques, the staff were polite and talked to him and the wrist band was real value for money.

The only thing that may of made our experience better was if the ice cream shop and face painting had been open!

User

I enjoyed this place and the safari drive is good, it’s just a shame you can’t feed the animals as you can at West Midland Safari Park/Longleat Safari Park. It’s a very spacious safari which is good for the animals but you may not see the animals close up. Once you’ve done the safari drive however, there is little more to see.

The bird show was interesting but could have been more informative. The feedback on the mic made his voice a little difficult to hear. The Amur tiger was beautiful but the new enclosure/tiger trail seems to be under a lot of construction and there isn’t much to actually see. Furthermore, the boating lake was closed with no explanation when we visited.

User

Great day out for the under 10s more so for the under 5s no queuing for the rides my only complaint was the bus. NO AIR CONDITIONING Had to take the kids t shirts off it was that hot on there and very uncomfortable. Staff were great and the park is kept very clean. Loved the sea lion show.
