Spent a year with L1 LETTINGS And was very impressed.

The flat was lovely, only for the fact we need a 1 bedroom flat as a couple, and not a studio we would have rented long term! The terms for a couple renting were great, most companies wanted an individual full price rent and then a half for a studio between 2, but L1 discounted it heavily for a couple sharing, which saved us a lot of money.

The staff are all lovely and helpful, I didn’t notice any sound through the walls at all, perhaps I had very good neighbours but I disagree with the paper wall comments I have seen.

Thought the WiFi was fine too, few nights it went slow but that’s normal with so many people accessing it at once.

I honestly didn’t have a problem that wasn’t solved or fixed by the gang at L1.

The repairs where done quickly when needed, the competitions were great (I even won one!) and the location is fantastic.



Honestly if I had to pick my brain on an issue I would say that the wash room being £4 for a single wash and dry was a bit pricey but other than that I can’t fault L1 at all.

The games room was fab, the gym was great and the postal service for parcels was efficient and secure.



Really wish they did bigger flats!

Offers that home feeling with a halls atmosphere ✨ there is always someone around that is willing it go the extra length and it's nice to know that with the 24hr security your always in safe hands would and have recommend this place to anyone and if the good reviews don't persuade you to move in the socials defiantly will ✨ I'm never leaving

Our experience with L1 lettings was nothing but exceptional!. The furnishings were of excellent standard, the flat was spacious and clean and the location was perfect.

The staff were always kind and helpful. Michelle always responded to emails very swiftly and nothing was ever an issue. Maintenance staff were always on hand for any help we needed and they were always so friendly. If I was in a position to stay in Liverpool I would definitely have stayed with L1 lettings, and would recommend them to anyone moving to the city.

Loved my time with L1 lettings so far- re-booked again next year!

Well equipped, comfortable flats perfect for those who prefer their space or couples starting out.

Welcoming, kind staff who help with issues quickly.

Love love love living here!!!!!!!!! Room's are brilliant, close to the city and the view's are beautiful! Would highly recommend If I wasn't finishing Uni this year I would without doubt be renewing my contract

L1 Lettings couldn’t be a nicer company to rent from. They are all friendly and very welcoming and definitely go the extra mile to make life easier for you. If something needed fixed or if I had a query they were all to happy to help. Definitely would recommend and if I need to rent in the future I will 100% be renting from L1 Lettings!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Loved living in their apartments, lots of space, had a tv, full kitchen(studio flat) etc. Never need to leave the room.

Fantastic location, within walking distance of the city centre and major transport links. The area itself is quiet and rather suburban, you don't always realise that you're in the heart of a major city.



The flats are well maintained and modern. With bills included they offer pretty good value for money as well. There's 24hr reception and a postal service which means you're never 'not in' for a delivery. There's even a small amount of free parking which is good going for the city centre.



Most of all, you feel safe and secure where you live. The agency is on site and respond to queries/maintenance issues quickly. You aren't dealing with a nightmare landlord and everything is legal, transparent, and above board. They're certainly the best landlord/agency I've had so far.



The only minor detractor in my view is the sometimes slow internet. I've never had a major issue, but it can be irritating. The agents are aware and always fo their best to sort it out.



I've lived here a year now and have signed my tenancy for another year. Very nice place to live.

It was a nice flat though it be better with air conditioning facilities. It was peak summer and additionally I couldn’t open the windows because of the dust coming in from a construction site besides the building. Overall it was good.

Great view of the city, great location to everything other than my uni building and the people who live here are friendly and the staff are great to get on with too :)

Great location and brilliant view overlooking most of the city. Decent sized, well furnished rooms.

Good self-contained units, good location, really handy and helpful concierge team. I would recommend to other postgrads.

Really struggled to get hold of a hoover to keep my place clean, was my only downside!

First year was an absolute nightmare as with any new building, Internet due to fault of external companies, water with only a few residents, lifts occasionally broke for the first month or so ... However for September 2015 who ever moves in will not find a studio in the city centre as cheap as big or with the caring dedicated staff we have here at L1! Would recommend for September :)

Obviously it's a perfect location with nice views of the city if you're on the right side. The rooms are a nice and a good size.



However- the floors are extremely thin and the person living above you walking around sounds like a hammer banging on the ceiling, it literally makes your flat shake. The same with people playing music. I know this is a problem in all flats but I've never lived somewhere this bad. Secondly the internet often doesn't work, sometimes for weeks at a time. When it does it's slow. Apparently this has been a problem for years, they have a crap isp and nothing gets done about it.



It would be a nice place to live if you could tolerate the noise and internet but I definitely couldn't stay here for another year.

Management neglect repairs. A member of the maintance staff was unproffesional in swearing at me when I asked to collect mail. All other staff are polite, proffesional and helpful. On making several complaints about provision of services and equipment as well as noise disturbances in my room I was told that they would not be dealt with and no compensation was available. After 4-5 months on several other students complaining and liverpool student homes becoming involved in the matter, compensation was offered making the prolonged process a stressful waste of time. Based on those points, this is the worst accomodation I have resided in during my 4 years in university, purely on the attitude L1 lettings has towards student issues. Some of these situations are unavoidable however the general attitude towards the issues has been "we cant do anything about it so live with it" Furthermore the adverts used were false and fabricate the existance of provisions which ultimately were not available on move in, issues which still persist.
