What an experience in such a fantastic location. The Evoque is not only a great looking car but definitely worthy of the Range Rover name. The experience is amazing, and scary, and the car is so capable of driving over gullies, log bridges, rivers as well as going up and down the steepest slopes imaginable! No condition seems too much for this car. You don’t need Alton Towers rides when you have a Land Rover Experience! Just let the car take over and enjoy the ride. A wonderful day out.

What an exhilarating afternoon! Our instructor Amy was great and so knowledgeable. I certainly didn't know all my Landrover Discovery Sport could do before we went. I now feel more confident in the car and my own abilities. Going over the edge face down those steep rocky hills was frightening but Amy was great and we all made it!! My kids enjoyed the passenger experience and my husband learnt more about some similar functions in his Jaguar he'd not utilised yet. Thank you for the free experience Landrover as part of my purchase of the car.

What a great day! Despite having owned 5 discoveries from 3 to 5 series, I still learnt a couple of things I never knew about my car, including how a passenger can initiate an emergency stop! Driving the disco 5 and experiencing just how far you can take it was great. Thanks to Dave our instructor who was a wealth of information.

What a great afternoon that was. I took my son with me and we both thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing from start to finish, and many thanks to our instructor Mick who was great company throughout the afternoon and who helped make it a great experience.

Everyone "knows" the capabilities of the Land Rover vehicles but this is all about experiencing that capability with excellent instruction. My half day came free with my new Discovery but I may well save up for a full day experience.

What a FANTASTIC Experience! How to be nervous and excited at the same time! I never knew my Evoque was capable of the activities we did today! Thanks to Rob who was a brilliant Instructor! Very knowledgeable, funny and 'trusting' with us at the wheel of such amazing vehicles! Would definitely recommend this experience irrespective whether or not you drive a Range Rover! Thanks again it's been an amazing Day!

We've been here today for an afternoon experience & experience it was, very professionally run lovely friendly staff, had a brilliant time thanks to Tony our instructor, would love to do a full day, definitely recommend this to people keep up the good work guys all the best

We have just had an exciting, brilliantly terrifying, exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable half day at Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire with our, very brave and very knowledgeable instructor, John Allam. It's truly amazing what these cars can do, and with John's fantastic and very informative instruction we both took the car and ourselves to the limit. A day to remember thanks to everyone involved. My daughter and myself had a fabulous time this afternoon, I knew my Discovery 5 was good, but oh my, she’s better than good, she’s unbelievably good.

I visited with my father in law and brother in law this week. We were taken out onto the training area by Rob, one of the instructors.

Rob explained the technical and physical characteristics of the vehicles and was clearly incredibly knowledgeable about the capability of each vehicle and the techniques recuired.

We were given the opportunity to traverse various obstacles and gradients, including water crossing.

I would highly recommend this experience to everybody.

Had a fantastic morning on an experience day with Amy, myself and my auntie learnt a great deal not only about off roading but about the technical abilities of her car. It was so much fun as well as informative. Brilliant experience with a brilliant instructor! Thanks Amy x

Had a fabulous morning with Will our instructor taking Joyce and myself on the course,learnt much more about what the capabilities the vehicle has,we both enjoyed the off-road experience under the expert guidance of our instructor Will.

The attention we received on arrival including delicious choice of drinks,answered all our questions,was first class.

Well worth a visit( ask for Will)

Full Day Land Rover Experience - Anniversary gift



My husband and I enjoy various driving days and have done various track and drifting days. We have a Land Rover discovery and wanted to and enjoy different experience.



The location of the centre is nestled in the Yorkshire Dales. The centre’s overall experience and welcome was very smooth. Fresh coffee and biscuits always nice on arrival.



We did a full day the defender in the morning to get a real driver experience and a Range Rover vogue in the afternoon to then compare lots of technology, bigger size and comfort. We really enjoyed this selection as it gave a real contrast of the pure driver experience and then a more computer driven one too.



There is a variety on the course, including very steep slopes, deep mud ruts, rocks, Mogull’s deep water and woodlands with slippery log paths.



I was a little nervous to start as I do suffer from vertigo and peering over a very steep slope where you cannot see over the bonnet and then having to drive off and trust your driving ability or the technology in the car was a bit scary.



This is where our instructor Emrys deserve great feedback. He was calm, built my confidence quickly and by the afternoon and I mastered slippery log paths and steep slopes with a mixture of mud, rocks and ruts all at once!



Emrys passion and knowledge about the cars was great. He was friendly and was fun to spend the day with. Although I did tune out a bit when he and my husband got into the technology and mechanics!



Overall professional, friendly, slick and fun really recommend. It is wet our appetite to do more!!

Fabulous morning, putting a new Series 5 Discovery through 'some' of its paces today - amazing setting, super instructor, and a very enjoyable off road course. If you get the opportunity - get your session booked with North Yorkshire - you won't be disappointed. Thanks to all of you �

Elaine & I had great afternoon yesterday , many thanks to Paul our instructor for the very informative way he demonstrated what a Range Rover Sport is capable of Off Road. A great facility very well presented and very welcoming.

Brilliant day. Learnt an incredible amount about what these vehicles can actually do! Highly recommend anybody to have a go. A good laugh and great challenges to take part in and watch!
