A few quick examples of how much more it will cost from April 2016 to buy a second home! Not too much impact at the lower end but soon starts getting expensive!

Bad news for landlords....3% extra stamp duty charge on top of normal rate for second property purchases from April 2016. Applies to any property purchase over £40k.
