“I wouldn’t bother to leave him a note. Just leave him a P.S. Good enough for him.” - Stan Laurel.
I think this says it all. Those who don't like Laurel and Hardy are usually those who have never really watched them.

"Say, I think there's something mysterious going on here." - Police Detective.
Wonderful, nostalgic walk down memory lane. Absolutely worth a visit if ever you're in the vicinity.
I found myself smiling, laughing, and a little emotional as I worked my way around this amazing tribute to two comedy geniuses. Taking in some of their classic shorts in the cinema bit, I wasn't surprised to see others laughing out loud, which filled me with a sense of pride for the great men!!
Wonderful couple of hours. Could have sat and watched the films all day.
This is by far the Jewel in the Crown of all attractions in the North West of England. Lovingly curated by Mark... it's simple, of its time, yet timeless. A fitting tribute to the greatest comedy duo in the Galaxy. I don't mind saying that I was genuinely moved to tears. I also cried laughing at the 20 minute shorts!
Just go!

My son was brought up on laurel and hardy and I treated him a trip for his birthday we had a lovely time we went round the museum and loved it all then sat and watched old laurel and hardy films in there mini theatre we laughed and watched most of the afternoon if you get chance go take the kids and introduce them to good old fashioned comedy. The price is great you can stay all day fantastic.
Loved this place. Always been a huge Laurel and Hardy fan. By coincidence I was visiting friends in Ulverston so obviously couldn't leave without visiting this lovely, characterful little museum. Definitely recommend it to any fan of the great duo and anybody who appreciates classic comedy. As an added bonus you can even watch some of their hilarious "shorts" that are played during the day in the in house cinema.
Loved this - after going round the exhibits, we sat and watched Laurel & Hardy short films for 30-40mins. It was great, we could have sat there all afternoon! An absolute treat!!!
Just go and see! You'll want to go back again and again. I ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face!!
I’m a big fan so was easy to like this place. Full of really interesting information about the guys and a chance to catch one or two of their brilliant films.
Having laurel and Hardy being a huge part of my childhood due to my dad being a big fan it made perfect sense We should come and celebrate my dads 60th Birthday here and what an amazing time we had. Definitely a must do for any fan Thankyou for a lovely time.
Had a great day at a fantastic museum. The guy that showed us round was very helpful, knowledgeable and even put on our favourite short film. Well worth a visit.

First, let me thank the people involved in saving this iconic comedy duo's material. Fans of Laurel and Hardy must visit this museum. It's got lots and lots of memorabilia. It's like walking into Stan's house as it's got Stan's furniture from the house he lived at in Ulverston. Love the little theatre set up where you can sit and watch their movies ... until closing time if you like ! Bargain at only £5 each entry fee and there is merchandise you can purchase to help fund it.
Fantastic! Loved it. Had a good look round then me and my husband sat with a beer and a glass of wine and watched 4 films. Totally enjoyable and fun. Well recommend it.
