IвҖҷm a bit delayed but here it is....4 tier vintage blush wedding cake made for the gorgeous Toni and Andy who got married a few weeks ago at The Chancellor Hotel. 4 tiers of luscious flavours - Vanilla, Lemon Buttercream, Chocolate Nutella (AndyвҖҷs fave рҹҳӢ) and Salted Caramel. Featuring blush roses, sparkly tier, lustre tier, vintage cake lace, sparkly topper and yes their cute cats at the bottom. They loved it and apart from a slight wardrobe mishap where I sewed Toni into her dress they had a fabulous day with family and friends! So I only got asked to do this cake on Monday whilst on holiday рҹҳҺрҹҳҶBut my customer was so lovely I couldnвҖҷt say noрҹҳҠCooper was turning 4 and having a dinosaur themed party with his pals so of course he needed the perfect spotty Dino cake. Hand painted metallic spots and floating stars with a cute Dino in his favourite ManCity blue colour holding a balloon finished it off nicely! Almost forgot to post this one as it was just before my hols! My customer wanted a Tinkerbell cake in simple green and white design so I came up with this version featuring hand painted gold highlights and daisies. So most kids get 1 cake but lucky kids of cake makers get 2 sometimes!! My daughter Maya loves LOL dolls so she had one chocolate fudge cake on her actual birthday and the other was her fave salted caramel for her party! She had a fab day - we did a cupcake party and the kids made their own cupcakes and decorated their own aprons too! So I made this pretty naming day cake for the cutie pie Connie whose mum had postponed the original big day so itвҖҷs been in the making for about a year! I had to make this is a special one....chocolate Victoria sponge and rich chocolate fudge buttercream with a lemon sponge, lemon buttercream and raspberry conserve. There were over 100 hand cut flowers (cut whilst listening to the royal wedding рҹҳҠ), her initial C, a rose gold and blush pink theme finished off with a lovely big peony....it got admired and devoured IвҖҷm told! Mid week cake....Jude is crazy about PJ Masks like most 3 year olds so when his lovely mum ordered his cake she let me have free reign to come up with this special design! So yesterdayвҖҷs wedding cake was for a wedding that took place in America in March so the couple had a party and wanted to show the guests some of their wedding pics! They are both huge Man City fans (up the Bluesрҹ’ҷрҹҳҠ) so a cluster of blue roses, 3 City badges down the back and a pale blue middle tier with a gold sparkly Mr&Mrs finished it off nicely. I was lucky enough to be invited to try Layla's cake in a jar, mmm delicious, I had the raspberry one, wow! Serious cake fix! Lovely soft sponge with sweet buttercream and raspberry coulis topped off with fresh raspberries.
