Used pool regularly great staff and live new refit

User

I would like to say how much I enjoy Allie's aqua fit on Monday's. It's a shame she has had 1 or 2 people complain she now feels disheartened and might give up the class. Please don't.

Your classes are always full. They wouldn't be if everyone didn't enjoy the class.

User

I visit the leisure centre a minimum of three times a week and have done so since they opened. The staff are always welcoming, help with any questions and problems. All in all, I would say an excellent service from an excellent team on poolside or the dry side of the building.

User

I used to work here and has changed alot. I love the spin studio. As an spin instructor myself it's always great to go to other instructors classes. Went today with Ingrid and was great. Lovely studio. Great air con and amazing bikes. Back tomorrow for spin again ÔøΩÔøΩ

User

I have been a member of the gym for a long time now , but decided to really push myself and book PT sessions with Nile. I have been doing it for about a month now 3x a week and also go to the gym inbetween so I train 5 days a week, and I have dropped just about 2 dress sizes. Anyone who is thinking about having that extra push pay for PT SESSIONS it is amazing and I have never felt this motivated ÔøΩ even if you do it for a month you will see results. I certainly have. ÔøΩ

User

Awesome team that really put themselves out for special needs children if you make needs known - think they're sick of the sight of us ü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏èü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏èü§¶‚Äç‚ôÄÔ∏èü òÜüòÜüòÜüëçüëçüëç xxx

My local gym is Honiton LED but have been travelling to Exmouth to do combat for the past 2ish months. Kim is an awesome instructor! I always look forward to her class. The gym itself seems nice and modern/well kept. Only quarrel would be the showers and hairdryer being outdated. The Hoover style hair dryer barely reaches so you can see in the mirror without an arm workout (or is that the point lol)

User

Its a good gym, the unlimeted membership is really good value for money.

The ONLY issue i have with the gym is that there are no blinds in the weight room. And early in the morning this can be an issue. I dont know if you've ever lifted weights before, i assume you have i mean you work in a gym, but being blinded with bright lights while lifting something heavy over your head could become very painful.

User

I only went to Toning Studio. Well equipped but staff in there are on screens all the time! Surely they should be more proactive in offering help. One yesterday was helpful but did not seem that well informed as to what I should be using given I have joint problems. I read the sheets instead but they’re of limited help for individuals. Considering cost is high for those over 65 unless on benefits it’s same cost.

User

A big improvement since, my last membership 10 years ago. Much better gym compared to the previous one which was small and felt damp. Very happy with the classes and very supportive friendly staff... definitely taken a massive step up the ladder. Yet to meet the not so nice staff

User

Some staff were nice. Some not as nice or as helpful. The app is a good idea the work had made going a nightmare and I felt like there should have been a discount while the work was going on. It's now a nice gym but always to buzzy. The mixed changing rooms are a night mare if your not going for a swim. Quite a lot of money. Not the best but not all bad.

User

Really disappointed with the cleanliness of the swimming pool and changing rooms they are always filthy and need a lot more attention and regular cleaning! They are also in desperate need of modernising/ refurb they have been the same for around 30 years! However I am happy with the gym's, courts and classes etc. Its just the swimming pool that is at state! Real shame, as it lets the whole place down.

User

I think that the leisure centre is ok however is it at all possible to get more classes for the children particularly mixed martial arts. It isn't fair that there are children that are wanting to participate in a sport that they love and are then being turned away because there is not enough spaces. I find that very disappointing especially as it keeps them out of trouble. It would be great if you would actually be able to do something about this as there are many parents that feel the same! Thanks

User

28 days no replay to my email ,still you are charging more for a dry membership than a wet membership ripping off the people of Exmouth , profit before service.

User

went back this year after 20 years , how the place has fallen by the wayside , awful staff , dirty , awful smell you would think that the management would notice this and change it before it gets knocked down ! I am only sorry its not perfect as it was in the mid 1980s ! I was wondering if there would be some sort of cash for insulting me in this way !

User

The swimming pools are terrible, the learner pool where the little ones go is FREEZING! We have visited other swimming pools that are much much warmer than this one and my one year old loved it. But not this one, nope it was freezing cold. He only lasted about 10 mins before his lips went blue and his teeth started chattering. Today he has a cold. Surely there must be a way of heating up the pool as it is for little ones and babies.

User

I've just been swimming and feel that I need to go home and have a scrub down with bleach - very dirty - would not take children here as there must be a very high risk of catching something.

User

Changing rooms (swimming) stink - toilets inside changing rooms as you go to the pool are disgusting - the stench of urine is vile ( last few weeks not just today) .

Lifeguards often spend most of their time chatting and not watching the pool - place has gone seriously down hill.

User
