Who'd be interested in a Pennine Enduro this year? :)

Day 2 of the Weekender & the sun is fulfilling its obligations. Remember to apply your sun cream! That goes to marshals as well as racers.

Lee Quarry is the 9th wonder if the world! I go there on my bike, I go there with my family and our little dog, it's a stunning landscape

User

Lee Quarry is a fantastic place to ride and covers most disciplines.

The setting is amazing. Bleak but beautiful. It's quite exposed, up on the moors and can get very windy at times.

The Red Route, incorporating the adjoining Cragg Quarry, is a brilliant technical trail that has a good variety of lines to keep things interesting.

I hope the planned trailhead comes to fruition because that would be the icing on the cake for Lee Quarry!

User

Just started riding up there not a million miles away from were I live and really enjoy the ride from Norden around the reservoir at green booth and then head over the tops to rooley moor and then descend down the trails to the quarry some fantastic scenery, the quarry trails seem to be well signed and have tracks for different abilities and seem to be challenging , I am sure I haven't even scratched the surface yet as I usually ride up on my own so just finding my way around at the moment.

User

It's great you can play all day. All ages and skills can go up here

User

I feel so privileged to live so close to this hidden gem. It is absolutely fantastic for walkers as it is for bikers. Everyone I go up I always find new walks or new paths to follow.

User

Great place to sharpen your skills, with a good variety of trail features that can be repeated over and over. Signage is better than it was but I still managed to miss the trail on a couple of occasions (especially at Cragg Quarry where I somehow ended up going the wrong way down it). Technically demanding in parts, not to be taken lightly, and you can often be the only person there midweek. I seem to get a decent mobile signal, even on my crappy network, so I didn't feel cut off. The climb up to Cragg isn't as bad as they make out and I always go up there too, worth the effort.

User

Great for walking the dogs especially early morning when no-one else is about!

User

Good open space, as I'd never been before didn't know what to expect but also good trails going off it too

User

Good jumps good trails plenty to do . A good level of fitness is a must. Go when it's not windy for the best experience

User

Cool place defo go again

User

4 of us rode it in the snow yesterday and it all thought it was brilliant. Keeps you thinking. A good level of fitness helps and plenty to hone your skills on. Lovely cafe with loo opposite the entrance and another just down the road. Well worth the hours drive.

User

Lee quarry is gnarly but it could be even bigger if they rebuilt that ditch not doing anything. That is all.

User

Great place, good hike up with the kids, when you get to the top it has a lovely view.

User
