We had an amazing night here tonight for our anniversary! Staff were all very attentive and the food was amazing!! We will be back real soon! A great night ��

We came for a lovely meal which my husband won on a Facebook competition. From the moment we walked in the staff were engaging and very friendly, especially Kate. They were able to accommodate us a table with room for our baby's pram and were really friendly and engaging. The restaurant was really nice inside and the food was lovely! Live music was just starting up as we left, which sounded great. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening! X

Perfect juicy steak and great service will definitely be visiting again

I had a fab afternoon in the sun . The food was top notch and the service was excellent. A very talented cocktail barman and the temp manager made the day especially enjoyable . It was a nice quiet too; better than when it’s bursting with people. Well done LT !

After the electricity went off on mother’s Day and we didn’t get our meal!! Which was not at the fault of the company we were very upset but since then they have been more then accommodating with us and could not do enough in way of compensating us for this unfortunate event. We were booked in the week after and now after having a fabulous meal with amazing service we can only thank the staff and this establishment for the way in which the situation was dealt and can honestly say this has reinforced what a fabulous restaurant this is and we will certainly be back again �� again thank you to all staff for their professionalism and kindnesses xxxx

Absolutely love this place! Holly (our waitress) made this visit even better, nothing was too much trouble as we had a pregnant lady with us and checked on all the ingredients for us (aswel as a gluten free person) she is an absolute credit to this restaurant.

This week I realised that there is nothing "new" on the menu and think a change of offering periodically would be good . (I feel like a change of menu but really dont want to go to another establishment!)



I recommend everything about the Liberty Tavern.....and turn up on Fridays to get live music as well!

Celebrated 30th Birthday yesterday eve 14th July pleasant atmosphere friendly staff lovely waitress Amy was so attentive from start to finish & she also put decorations up so big thank you to her. Food very tasty & hot enjoyed it all I’ll definitely go back X

Enjoyed ourselves very much. Staff very good and were very attentive on a very busy post Christmas night.

But my husband disappointed with the choice of lager on offer. It was Heineken or nothing.

Our meal was very well cooked. But we were both disappointed with the side orders. The cheese pasta was dry and over cooked. Mine was a salt and pepper mixed salad all ingredients were not present as listed.

Drove 30 minutes from near Ormskirk to get here last night for my mum’s 60th. Menu choice was very limited. I went for the ribs, which did fall off the bone, however were dry. Ok with the coleslaw & beans however. Pricey for what it was. Took over an hour for our meal to come. Chips weren’t hot. Not much beer choice for my dad, and my nan asked for a J20, which they didn’t have. Coffees at the end of the meal were served in a cold drinks glass, not a cup. Thought that was odd. We won’t be returning. My nan and boyfriend enjoyed their meals however (fish and chips & chicken and gravy)!! Our waitress was lovely. She organised a birthday cake/brownie for my mum at the end of the meal and offered to box up my leftover ribs. �

Visited for first and last time full of young foul mouthed young girls and wannabe gangsters shouting and discussing their triumphs with graphic detail..... It's meant to be no one under 25 CLEARLY this was not the case.... It's such a shame as the staff were very friendly and looked the part sadly some of the client's have let the place down myself and my friends will not be returning which is a Shame as its such a nice establishment.... �

Been a few times on quieter days - place was way to busy and noisy - full of loud groups of orange faced girls swearing and shouting while taking selfies ! Ordered a no alcohol beer as I don’t drink got a ‘low alcohol beer’ given warm becks to replace it - food average and over priced - £8 for 2 scallops ? Really ? Mains - poor - burger ok but not hot cheese had gone hard chips cold - ordered coke to have with burger - took 20 minutes meal finished by time I had asked 4 times for it. We then had to leave as table next to us all effin and jeffin loudly - horrible night never again

Visited for first and last time full of young foul mouthed young girls and wannabe gangsters shouting and discussing their triumphs with graphic detail..... It's meant to be no one under 25 CLEARLY this was not the case.... It's such a shame as the staff were very friendly and looked the part sadly some of the client's have let the place down myself and my friends will not be returning which is a Shame as its such a nice establishment.... �

Been a few times on quieter days - place was way to busy and noisy - full of loud groups of orange faced girls swearing and shouting while taking selfies ! Ordered a no alcohol beer as I don’t drink got a ‘low alcohol beer’ given warm becks to replace it - food average and over priced - £8 for 2 scallops ? Really ? Mains - poor - burger ok but not hot cheese had gone hard chips cold - ordered coke to have with burger - took 20 minutes meal finished by time I had asked 4 times for it. We then had to leave as table next to us all effin and jeffin loudly - horrible night never again
