Waited in cue for 15 mins to get a drink and the ticket machine charged us for another ticket we got seat 5 an 6 and 17 lol butcwe got our money back I had a nice time watching mama Mia

User

Took the kids to watch Sherlock Gnomes in the morning. Such a bargain. £1.95 all tickets and free parking if you park on the multi storey. A fabulous and cheap way of entertaining the kids in the school holidays!

User

Took my 9 yr old today.. he's been lots of times with his grandma but I've never been. Lovely, helpful staff. Server explained prices and different combos etc to save money. Very clean screen rooms and comfortable seating . Plenty of leg room for somebody 6ft+. Overall a lovely visit. Hopefully back again next week for another movie

User

If you’re free to visit the Light Cinema midweek before midday the ticket price is only £5. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the screening rooms are clean and comfortable and the parking is free. There’s even a complementary brew if you’re over 60 - bargain! I saw The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society today and thoroughly enjoyed it

User

I also LOVE this cinema. I have an Infinity card so me and my partner go alot. Theres a massive 25% discount on snacks and they have deals with the restaurant's in the vaults . Well worth the money and nothing better than watching a film on the big screen. The cinema is just lovely , the decor is modern, and the staff are so friendly. Last night's decor for the premiere of 50 shades freed was just perfect ! Well done to the light team for organising it all.

User

Great venue, comfy seats and really made a night of it by having a glass of wine while watching the film. Really helpful staff on the bar - advised us of best quality/value wine. Shame the mini prosecco was so pricey tho - £6 is just too much! X

User

Brilliant cinema and easier to get to than Manchester and Trafford Centre. Staff polite and the seating is large and comfortable. Have been four times now and enjoyed every time.

User

Been twice and both times the staff have been friendly and helpful. They have plenty of staff of at busy periods so you get served fast unlike other cinemas. One of the comfiest cinemas I’ve visited. Would much rather travel to the light to watch films than other cinemas.

User

A lovely cinema and excellent staff!

I have just visited this morning for the family showing of Peter Rabbit with my 3 children and I can't praise the staff at the cinema enough.

We inadvertently went to the wrong screen (6 year old was in charge of reading tickets! ) so when the film didn't start as we expected I went to ask why. We were helped by a lovely man in a white shirt (sorry I didn't get your name!) and also a lady attendant when they came to tell us we were in the wrong screen. My pram was pushed for me, doors held open and even my 2 year old sons popcorn replaced when he dropped it on the floor during the move. I'm so grateful...you made my 2 year old son and 4 month old daughters first trip to the cinema a pleasure with your kindness.

We will definitely be back...thanks again xxx

i went to watch jurasic world fallen kindon and it was in the morning so it was only a £5 amazing prise and a good way to get people going. film was great quolity and spot on surround sound. the seats were diffent from leather but comfy, not for larger people (wide hips).

however when i went to see my 2nd film (deadpool 2) at normal prise at £7.95 (okay) i had to ask for the manager because the film didnt start for 45 mins and when it did there was no graphics to go with the sound but after anoth 5-10min it was sorted and the film restarted, i got complamenty popcorn for my wait/tech issuss.

the staff were perlite, were looked after and apolagetic if any problems.

over all a great cinema and would defonatly go again.

User

My new favourite cinema! The cinema and bar/snack area was clean and tidy, and very reasonable priced tickets as we bought online and signed up to ‘My Light’, also pleased that it was free parking. My own niggles about the cinema are that there could be more toilets and they had run out of cocktail ingredients, also there were women laughing very loudly in the film for no reason but I wouldn’t blame the cinema for this. Will be coming back again

User

Love coming here, been several times, staff always friendly and it’s always clean. However last night was a disappointment through immature women who obviously either can’t take their drink or just need to grow up. We came to watch Fifty shades freed, all as we could hear was giggling and more toilet breaks than children in nursery.

Maybe this should be monitored. It’s not good when you’ve paid good money to sit and watch a film.

User

Arrived for the 3.40 showing of The Shape of Water which we really enjoyed, and the seats are so comfy with lots of leg room, but the cinema room itself had not been cleaned and we were sat with take away trays and drinks cartons all over which was not ideal.

User

Went with 12 friends , unfortunately the bar was closed not even a cup of tea could we have ,was not happy at all

User

Terrible facilities. Toilets aren’t seemed to be checked especially on weekends. Wheres your staff? Feels really dull up there. I came the other day and although the seats were very comfortable I just seemed really unwelcomed. Charming young looking man an the bar made the visit worth while. Thank you again but I won’t be returning.

User

Normally a great cinema but last night was off putting as the toilet facilities need improving and need to be checked more regularly. They were disgusting and very unhygienic yesterday not what you want to see on a night out.

However the bar staff were lovely and the cinema it self was good.

User

Hmmm... never been to a cinema that’s run out of popcorn early evening before! And that was after waiting 10 mins to be served. Other than that it was ok...

User

Attended this cinema, on arrival into the screen at 22.30 the screen was filthy

It was full of packets of sweets, empty juice cartons, popcorn everywhere!!it was obvious no one had bothered to clean it from the film prior.

As requested we choose which seats we would to be seated in although du to the state of the screen we was unable to sit here due to the rubbish.

I attempted to find someone to discuss this with although there was no one around to discuss this with.

I have been to this cinema before and had no issues although I feel I would think again about viewing a film here.

User

Prices are disgusting, especially for the food. Cost me £10.95 for nachos.. £7.95 for a large combo meal then extra for toppings? What’s the point in having nachos if it comes with no toppings. Couldn’t fault the film we watched ‘the greatest showman’ however, young teenagers talked all the way through the film and had their torches on their phones on the entire time which has completely ruined it for me. Will not be coming here again, printworks is much cheaper and better value.
