Our enthusiasm and love of photography gave rise to a group of photographers who were seeking to expand their knowledge and creativity in the world of imaging, yet break away from the traditional camera club.

Welcome to the website of the Lindow Photographic Group. The LPG was set up by students who had attended the basic digital photography course at the Wilmslow Guild during 2006 /7 and they have been joined by students from subsequent years. Their enthusiasm and love of photography gave rise to a group of photographers who were seeking to expand their knowledge and creativity in the world of imaging, yet break away from the traditional camera club.
Unlike other photographic groups the LPG does not hold competitions; instead its aim is to work, through photographic briefs, to hold exhibitions throughout Cheshire and attain phographic qualifications such as LRPS.
Currently there are 3 groups, the Intermediate and Advanced groups meet twice a month (see Term Dates) between 7: 30 & 9: 30pm with lectures covering everything from Photoshop to visiting Photographers. The RPS group meet on a Thursday evening.
