Registration is now open for musicians to apply for Merseyrail Sound Station. The development programme will include studio workshops, artist masterclasses and industry one-to-ones. The project brings together an inspirational group of figures from across the local, national and international music industry to work directly with emerging Liverpool artists. Our Pearson Silver Teaching Award-winning maths lecturer Joe Cornmell attended a special reception for winners at the House of Commons yesterday - roll on the Gold Awards in October!

After our graduation ceremony, the audience spilled out into Mount Street to catch up and celebrate with our students.

Add our Busk Off money to the proceeds from our Buyers' Club gigs, and we've raised £2,000 for Radio City's Cash for Kids!

Watched both Rent casts and they were fabulous. Congratulations to the cast, crew and production team for such brilliant performance both nights. The standing ovations on each night were definitely deserved. Well done everyone ��

Pink Mist - very moving. The fact that different people were playing the same part didn't detract, as it was seamless and flowed well without undue hesitancy. Really well done.

Outstanding - The talent from the drama to dancing & music and performance. Open for 5 weeks and this is what they can produce. Wow & a big well done �

Incredible staff especially Tracy, a true champion for the students! A wonderous place!!

Girls & boys in LIPA Sixth Form College are really talented, always show us some really great performance. I seen the Our House recently, plus the A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings, both was a real gem performance from the beginning until the end. :)

Fantastic performance of Rent, loved it, the students were amazing, a real testament to their talent and the dedication of their teachers.
